Nico Ortega is a man with a mission and that does not involve falling for the lovely and fiery woman who stole from him. Determined to get back what is his, he abducts her at gunpoint from a party and takes her to his private island. Tamika White lost everyone she’s ever cared about as well as her ability to laugh. A woman of few words, she retreated into a place deep down where no emotional connection can touch her. Then she meets Nico Ortega, the superhot, super rich hotelier. Sure that it's simply a case of mistaken identity, Tamika White decides to help Nico trace the woman he is after, a woman who looks remarkably like she does.

Has a interesting cover ... But that's not what books are for😂....
The series has a good start in the first book or so but then very quicky loses its steam and momentum where the writing and plots feel dragged out ... Almost to a fault.
Editing was also not that great had some missing and incorrect words at times
Overall ... Won't recommend after the first book in the series.

The front cover is simple yet eye catching. The title is unique and justified as per the story of the book. The compact story line and gripping plot made this book a much enjoyable and unputdownable read. The fast pace narrating style and captivating description of the scenes can be easily considered as the base strength of the book. I liked reading this and would definitely recommend to avid readers. Thank you.

... HORRIBLE proofreading/editing! Great characters, good plot lines - though a bit dragged out at times. However, sometimes reading it was a chore because of missing words, extra words, incorrect words and a lack of continuity. For example, at the beginning of the final book, Emily says that her daughter will be turning 17. Throughout the rest of the book, she's 14. The mistakes sometimes made this a frustrating read.

Great Series
I haven't read anything else by this author, but will look for more in the future. The series was great with inventive plots throughout. Dee created a set of characters that drew you in and made you feel like one of the "family". You could feel their emotional ups and downs like you are in the scene yourself. Don't miss this set.

I really enjoyed this box set. Each member of the group had their own excitable and nerve wrecking entrance and love story. This SSS was such a together and inseparable team.

Strong characters
Strong story line, with just the right amount of suspense thrown in. The first book was a good read, but after that it seemed as if the author had to fill pages with descriptive sex scenes, in the following books. The books on a whole were a page Turner.

5 books of actions, heros, traitor, and love stories. True friends that become family though faithfulness thru years of working and surviving size by side. Each with their own unique storie.. Thank you for hours of enjoyment.

Read first book and did not read the rest of series. F bomb is present sometimes, sex scenes, and so many side roads, I thought the book would never end. Action is present, no real suspense. Do not understand the five stars. Author must have many friends.

Ughh so in love.
I absolutely loved the way all the stories and characters got their happy endings! The book just flowed so perfectly and I had a very good sense of who was who. I stayed into the book almost as if I stepped into the character role myself. Love it!

Love prevails
Each book had a similar theme of, finding love in the mist of trials. So it did not fail how each person from the group fell in love with the person they were protecting. The suspense was different with each case.

These Are Great.
This is a well written set of books depicting a group of well trained and dedicated people, showing strength and brains in dealing with various aspects of murder, mafia and treason. Really enjoyed reading all of the stories

Silver Shield Security box series.
A good interesting read that was full on from start to finish. Each book is complete, but incorporates pieces from the other books. Would definitely recommend that enjoys this type of series.

I would prefer a story that is told by the person involved, more on their thoughts then from someone who thinks they know a person's feelings.
