An Undeniable Wrong

Rate this book
To: Mazery Garland and Guest

You're invited to your undoing—that is, the wedding of your ex, Leo Parker, to a woman who is not you. It could have been, but you messed that up like a professional. To thank you, we sincerely hope you will join us so that we may rub your nose in it and make you feel like a prize idiot for letting the love of your life slip through your inept and selfish fingers.

Something like that, anyway. I'm paraphrasing. Or reading into it a little. That doesn't mean it's going to stop me from going. What harm could it cause?

This is a standalone short story, originally published in the exclusive anthology Shameless which was only available in a very limited edition paperback produced for Shameless Book Con 2018.

Book Review: 4,5 Stars

An Undeniable Wrong features the short, sexy and romantic story of Maz and Leo. They had a great relationship so many years ago, but in the present, his great relationship was with somebody else, and Maz is reminded of this when she’s invited to his wedding. With another woman. And Maz, following her crazy heart, decided to attend and this is when the story gets interesting.

This was a refreshing “second-chance” story for me. This story is short but everything happens here. The heartbreak, the sexiness, the reunion, the HEA. An Undeniable Wrong has it all and in a very few pages.

I loved Leo and the little chapter from his POV made him just perfect. And Maz was just human. I mean, I think I’d have done the same she did… Or like she said: There were two people in that kitchen.

Maybe there will be more of them in the future… Who knows… I wish for it!! Shannon, listen to me!! Make a sequel (or prequel) happen!!

If you want a romantic and sexy quick read, An Undeniable Wrong is perfect for you.

This is my first taste of this author, and though this is only a short story and a very fast read, it has certainly wet my appetite for more from her.

Ms Lumetta wastes no time getting to the crux of the story; Mazery has been invited to her ex, Leo's wedding rehearsal and wedding, and she's not sure what the meaning is behind the invite given Leo dumped her.
But weddings are always highly emotive environments and this one is no exception, so when sparks and clothing fly, the real entertainment starts!

Despite being a quick read, the story did not feel rushed to me.
I loved Mazery and Leo, they are both good people. And good people are oft to do the wrong thing.
It is obvious they are soul mates who lost their way and their angsty reconnection is fun and emotional to watch.
An easy reading solid 4 stars!

An Undeniable Wrong is a second chance romance short story. In general, short stories are not my favorite but this one is well-written and I felt more connected to it than some long books I have read this year. It has an element that some people don't like to read in books (not spoiling but you might be able to get it from the blurb) but I'm fine with it in my fiction.

I received a free copy of this story from an online contest.

Loved this little story! For a novella the characters well rounded. You felt like you knew more about them than was in the story. Would love to know what happened to them in the past to get to the point in story.

A GREAT SHORT READ TO GET AN IDEA OF THE AUTHORS STYLE OF WRITING. I LOVED THE DESCRIPTIVE WRITING STYLE. ONE MEETING IS ALL IT TAKES TO REALISE THEY MADE THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF THEIR LIFE.
