We enjoyed "Simply Romantic Nights" so much that we decided to do the sequel. This has three sets of date night ideas. One set, "Mysteries for Her to Solve," involve the wife arranging things for the date, one set, "Mysteries for Him to Solve," involve the husband arranging things for the date, and the third set, "The Together Mysteries," involve both arranging things for the date without knowing what is in the other's instructions.
I enjoyed the variety in the date nights ideas, discussion themes, etc. rather than just always doing dinner out somewhere, although that can be enjoyable, too. I was going to comment on the date night ideas, but no, I don't think I will.
We did all of the individually-prepared date ideas and three of the jointly-prepared ones, but have decided to move on instead of finishing the four remaining. (So we did all the individually-prepared ones and almost half of the jointly-prepared ones, for a total of 20/24.) The jointly-prepared ones were harder to arrange somehow. Some of them involve weekend getaways which were harder to arrange than just an evening. Maybe sometime or another we'll come back to them.
I don't really know when we finished the ones we've done, since we suspended the harder set, and have just now decided to do something else.
I would definitely recommend these.
