If you have read any of the stories in de Wolfe Pack world, you know that these books and authors are amazing! Spanning years of de Wolfe's, these four stories center around the Regency and Victorian era. What could be better than that?
Vienna Wolfe by Mary Lancaster - A delightful story of love at first like in the least expected moment! A little "Cinderella" with the heroine Elise being a poor French emigre' who is already a little in love with Francis Wolfe. When fate takes over and she is almost run down by him on his horse, is there a chance they could be happy? Lovely!
Trusting the Wolf by Lana Williams - London 1870 If you love historical Victorian romances, you will thoroughly enjoy this book! Throw in Marcus de Wolfe, descendant of the famous de Wolfe family and you will be turning the pages as quick as you can! A chance encounter when Marcus is wounded and left for dead finds Tessa Maycroft helping him. Tessa is a poor seamstress who is making her way and helps other women in the same predicament. Marcus thought he saw an angel when he looked at Tessa, but gets himself focused on his problems concerning his ships.
When he comes upon her again, he asks her for help because it appears her girls are connected to the smuggling that is going on in his ships. But Marcus is a wounded soul having lost his wife years ago. As these two work together to find out the mystery, there is an abundance of emotions, suspense and angst. Can the two find a happy ending?
A well written story with wonderful characters that will entertain you till the end!
Love's Legacy by Amanda Mariel - A story of two people who come together in the least expected way. A fascination for a crumbling castle next to her family's home, Rebecca spends her time there whenever she can. When she sees a light shining inside, she goes to investigate. She finds a stranger and tells him he has to leave! Camden cannot believe this girl was telling him to leave, you see this place belonged to his family. Not getting her name he is determined to find out who she is and when he does, there is an attraction. But she is determined not to get involved with a soldier because her brother had perished in war. Well, sometimes the heart overrules the heart and there is not cure for it! A wonderful story that will warm your heart!
A Voice on the Wind by Laura Landon - could not wait to begin. To say it really exceeded my expectations would be mild. When a young woman begins hearing voices while she is in the graveyard, she worries she is going mad like her mother. The voice says the killer must be caught before he kills again. Ginny goes to Inspector William de Wolfe ( yes of those wonderful men written by Kathryn Le Veque) because the woman murdered in the graveyard is his cousin. Will he believe her and help find the murderer? Laura Landon does it again with this wonderful tale that will keep you turning the pages to see what happens!!
Do not miss these stories by some of the greatest authors in Historical romance!! Each of these are a standalone book that was previously published I had read.

Mixed Bag Collection
This collection of 4 books has two that I loved and two that were only so-so, in my opinion. All of them, of course, feature descendants of the Dr Wolfe line.
The first and last, written by Lancaster and Landon, are well-written and compelling. The two middle books, by Williams and Mariel, feel pitched for the young adult reader and have structural problems that annoyed me greatly.

Hit and miss
There were some very good stories and one that I couldn't read because it just crawled along slowly. But the other stories made up for it
