This is a beautiful story about a second chance. Piper and Cliff met whilst at school and they both thought they would be together forever. Piper trusted Cliff with her life so didn't question losing her virginity to the man she loved. Piper invited Cliff to her meet her parent and older sister, to share their Christmas meal. Piper was so happy but then within days Cliff dumped Piper but he didn't explain why. Piper fell apart whilst Cliff went off to Harvard leaving Piper far behind. He had a reputation of being a bad boy guess he lived up to it!
10 Years later
Piper is working hard to become a successful chef working at the new restaurant Privy, under chef Morris. Piper had worked all over the country under some very vocal chefs but none were as hard as chef Morris. He was never happy never impressed with any of the chefs work But tonight he was awful. Pipers hand were shaking and chef wasn't happy with her. So when a customer had complained about the dish she had made chef Morris demanded that Piper face the music and go talk to the customer. But what Piper wasn't expecting was to come face to face with Cliff.
Cliff had done very well for himself. He was a self made millionaire. Going to Harvard changed his life. Once he had finished his business degree he started his own investment firm, he had a knack for investing in small business and after 6 years people were finally taking him seriously. He was at a business lunch, one he should of never gone too as he had no intention of merging his company but he wanted to hear Michael out. When Michael didn't get the answers he wanted, he took it out on the food demanding the food wasn't cooked properly, calling for the chef. Cliff was embarrass by Michaels behaviour but couldn't believe his luck when he saw the chef walking over to them. It was Piper the love of his life, the girl he couldn't forget.
This book is about love, understanding and secrets. Secrets that could destroy any chances he had with Piper. but now that he saw her he couldn't give up on the chance of a new start
This is a well written believable romantic book its a fantastic read that I just couldn't put down.

A MARVELOUS feel-good, second-chance novella that will warm your heart and put a smile on your face!
“DADDY C.E.O.” is an emotive second chance romance, full of the emotion, angst and action that the fans of Holly Jaymes’s writing have come to expect! Piper and Cliff are amazingly realistic characters who will warm the heart of every reader with their devotion despite the circumstances in which they find themselves. The blurb gives an idea about the plotline, but what it can’t tell readers is that author Jaymes writes with an eloquent prose that draws readers into the story she is telling through her use of dual narration and character angst that both explains and describes! Absolutely loved this third book in the Private School Bad Boys series which revolve around men who are good friends from their college days, and the woman they fall for. In this story we read about Piper and Cliff. Two people who long ago were in love as high school students who just graduated and went their separate ways. Piper was heartbroken then when she was never given a reason why Cliff ended it with her before heading to Harvard. Cliff has kept his reason all these years feeling that if Piper knew the real reason it would hurt her more than him just leaving. Fast forward to present day and the two have run into each other at Piper's work. They both feel the connection they had that is still there. Can they get past what happened long ago and find a way to start again? Will Piper ever forgive and understand why Cliff left the way he did? Will they be able to get the second chance at love they both seem to want? Will Cliff be able to explain what happened? This was a great book and had me at the edge of my seat wanting to know if they could find a way to move forward and get the HEA they have always deserved. Wonderfully written! I can't wait to see if Vince gets his own story.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the second chance romance between Piper and Cliff. They dated when they were finishing high school until Cliff broke up with Piper without an explanation. Piper went on to become a chef and Cliff went on to become a billionaire businessman. When Cliff was at a dinner meeting with a rival who wanted to join businesses, the rival got angry when Cliff refused and caused a scene in the restaurant. He wanted to see the chef to complain and Piper came out and was shocked to see Cliff. Cliff wanted to talk to Piper and catch up, but she wouldn't talk to him. Cliff returned to the restaurant and continued to try and talk to Piper until she agreed to see him. Cliff knew he couldn't tell Piper the real reason he broke up with her and knew she wouldn't come back to him until he did. Piper still had feelings for Cliff and was confused how to handle them. When Piper gave into her desires with Cliff, she made it harder to break free of him and get over her broken heart. Cliff wanted her back and tried everything to win her over. I liked this story. I think Cliff really loved Piper and he wanted to be with her. I think if things had been different then, they would have still been together and been happy. Good one.

First time read for Ms. Jaymes and I couldn't be happier with her writing style and the amazing talent that just shined throughout this book. The characters carefully created and very realistic. Piper as well as Cliff are going to blow you away, with not only their past, but with the future that is now laid out before them. They were each other's 'one and only' love; over a decade ago and after a horrible turn of events, Cliff ended the relationship, only to run into Piper again in the most unlikely of places. After that heartbreaking scene, the the story really takes off and you will find yourself addicted throughout this engaging new release. I could not devour this book fast enough and I truly found the plot that well-crafted.

Piper has worked hard establishing herself as a chef. She has dreams of owning her own restaurant some day but can't get enough money saved up to buy the place she has been eyeing for years. Cliff is a CEO of his own investment company. He finds promising business ventures and helps them succeed. Imagine Piper's surprise when Cliff ends up at her work with a business associate. Cliff and Piper had a relationship when they were younger until Cliff dumped her with no explanation.
This is a fun read. The author creates characters that have an unresolved past. They are given the perfect chance meeting. I like that the characters carry through from the other books so we get to know them a little better each time.

Piper and Cliff where college lovers with big dreams and hopes of a future together but at her parents Xmas dinner it all went wrong and cliff broke up with her soon after but never said why?. So fast forward 10yrs at a chance dinner meeting they meet again and the hot chemistry is still there between them and pain as well about how it all ended with no reason why, can they get past there past and try again and will his secret finally come out as to why he walked away all those years ago. Will Piper finally get the reasons why he left her with a broken heart, read this amazing book to find out.

I loved the series! This is Cliff's story and it involves a bad boy thinking he wasn't good enough for the love of his life. Piper, is the love that he let go once before but was determined to get back one way or another. Piper has never fell out of love for Cliff, but forgiving him felt like a betrayal to herself. At the end they found the middle ground and ended up becoming a family. I hope Holly has something big for poor Vince as his story should be something else. I hope it somehow starts with Cliff and Piper's wedding.

OMG! This book is swoon worthy. The love between Cliff and Piper when they were teenagers, surpassed anything they could expect, but outside forces caused them to break up. They each travelled a different path after the break up, but fate brought them back together. The intense chemistry, bullying boss, sneaky exes, as well nosey and supportive family, makes for a great storyline. However, when you have nice cup of hot chocolate and a roaring fire next to you whilst you relax on the couch reading this book, it is out of this world.

This is a story of second chances of life. It is easy to read and quite a fun story. What troubled me were some bad typos and there were instances that didn´t go hand in hand with previous occurrences in the story, but most of those I sent to the author who hopefully will have these major flaws corrected and then the story can really go up to four stars. :-) The storyline was for the most part quite good and the characters as well. No real villain in this one, but still there was enough of the bad things that can happen in life. ... But all is well that ends well.

OMG! Wow! I don't think they make a thermometer that checks that high. In a whirlwind of emotions and events that really takes your breath as you try to center yourself. The links are below. Lost cause, that! All the twists and turns, unexpected circumstances and unpredictable surprises around every corner make for one electrifying experience. Drama, fear, heartache, danger and suspense increases and the tension soars as the plot thickens. The third one in the series where we get the story of one of the four friends from school. This one is the second chance romance where even after the 10 years of not seeing each other main characters still have strong feelings to each other. They just bump into each other in unexpected for both of them location. Cliff always gets what he wants. Will he be able to give one thing to Piper she always wanted? Will they be able to leave the past behind them to get back together? You need to read to find out and along the way you need to know that there is quite right amount of steam and sexiness to keep you entertained.

Thoroughly loved reading the phenomenal, amazing romance story. When Piper, the chef, is working and goes out to talk with a disgruntled customer, she has a hard time concentrating on the upset customer while sitting next to him is the man that broke her heart years ago, Cliff. When Cliff sees Piper, he wants to see her again and keeps asking her until she agrees. Read the highly recommended and wonderfully written with an engaging story line keeping the reader riveted from the first page until the last page of the story.

Cliff, now a wealthy investor, wants to rekindle that flame that started 10 years ago. Although it is the same story we have read countless times, the quality of the writing and the development of the characters make this story enjoyable and sets it apart. The sex was steamy and not over the top.

This is an exciting second chance romance! The plot is well developed and the pace is fast and flows smoothly. A really captivating storyline that is sweet and endearing with an amazing family relationship between friends. Loveable characters - the chemistry between them is off the charts and undeniable. I am really enjoying this series and look forward to reading Vince’s story. Strongly recommended.

A really lovely sweet romantic book. Cliff and Piper’s love affair is a rollercoaster. Cliff upset Piper many years ago, and she has never forgiven him. Due to circumstances they meet again, the first few meetings do not go well. .
Cliff works hard to show Piper how much he loves her.

Received an ARC for this honest review. Wow not even a quarter of the way in and I'm crying and totally taking Pipper's side. This story hooked me right from the start. I loved everything...the characters, the chemistry, the angst, the passion... everything. I couldn't put it down and finished it the day I started. Cliff and Pipper's story is a HEA that will make you smile and warm your heart ❤️

Another Must read by Holly Jaymes! The characters are well developed and interesting. Totally relatable, Cliff breaks up with Piper without explanation in HS, now ten yrs later a surprise run in gas all kinds unresolved feelings and wondering popped up. I enjoy their group of friends and can’t wait to know them all better. Ms Jaymes is a author I highly recommend as she’s a must read for me!

A second chance for two people who have struggled to move on. Ten years is a long time to hold a torch for someone, but Piper and Cliff have had no other successful relationships. When these two meet again by chance, sparks fly. Can Piper figure out why Cliff left her as he did? Can she forgive him? Can Cliff ever come clean to Piper and reveal why he left??

A sweet heartwarming second chance story. The characters are lovable and real. Piper and Cliff will set you on fire with their chemistry. Torn apart when they were teenagers a chance meeting ten years later brings unresolved feelings to the surface. These two need to put the past to rest so they can move forward.

This is a well-written and quick to read, has likable characters that have never gotten over each other even though they parted ten years ago on bad terms. Now they have reunited and still have to deal with their past breakup as well as new dramas in their midst.

Normally I'm a fan of Holly's book, but I'm a little bit disappointed with Daddy CEO. I'm quite annoy with how stubborn Cliff and Piper were. He should tell her the reason why they broke up when he has a second chance though. However the book is still well written so I decided to give it 4.5 stars.

This is an amazing and romantic love story. Your heart strings get pulled from the beginning with the raw emotions and stressful moments. The secrecy keeps you hooked and intrigued wanting to know more about what happened. Great read and a reminder to follow your dreams and your gut.

Very good second chance romance depicting a couple who were together in high school but went separate ways before college. There was angst, chemistry, defined characters that grew in maturity, and the difficult journey to a second chance at an HEA. I found this read to be entertaining and engaging.

This book is like a second chance romance with a twist. Once lovers as teens and divided in the past cliff and piper meet by chance and their lives snowball to a point where there is no going back, but when the truth is finally spoken things turn for the better.
