I've always enjoyed J.S. Scott's books and this one was no exception.
Billionaire Undaunted is the ninth installment in The Billionaire's Obsession series telling the story of Zane Colter (one of the Colter brothers) and Ellie Winters. If you have read the previous book in the series, Ellie (Chloe Colter’s best friend) went missing and we were left wondering what happened to her and if she was taken by James (Chloe’s sadistic bastard ex fiancée).
Chloe and Zane never gave up on Ellie even after James killed himself. Neither one of them ever believed the bullshit assumption the police threw it out that Ellie just left and never came back.
Zane never stopped looking for her. He’s a scientic, a genius. He’s analytical and rational and after seven months gone, the likelihood of him finding her alive should be pretty much nil. But his determination pays off. Time is running out for Ellie and when Zane does find her, she's in a pretty bad shape. Starving, dehydrated and on the verge of death. He’s a man on a mission. He wants to take care of Ellie, to help her recovering from her whole seven-month ordeal she’d suffered and to keep her safe.
For some reason, Ellie had always been a woman he wanted to know better but ended up avoiding because he’d considered her off-limits in the past as she was Chloe’s best friend. But there is one thing he knows for sure: he was ready to fight for what he wanted, to ensure that Ellie is happy again. I loved nerdy, broody and socially awkward billionaire Zane. Watching his possessive, obsessive behavior toward Ellie was just a little intoxicating.
I also adored Ellie. When reality starts to close in on her, she realizes how much everything is going to change, how much she has to take of and how different things will be now. She doesn’t have a job or a home anymore, it’s like life moved on without her during her captivity. She knows that her life is a mess because of what happened to her, but she’s determined to face her demons and to fight her fears. For once in her life, she has someone to lean on and Zane is the one man she’d ever really wanted.
Ellie and Zane were great together and their story moved along at just the right pace. I liked this great and safe read that kept my attention the whole way! There was no real angst or unnecessary drama, just a beautiful love story with lovable and down to earth characters and some extremely hot sex scenes thrown into the mix. If you’re a true romance fan this series is for you.

2.5 FAILED TO FEEL REAL STARS
The hero was protective and I loved that but I thought it was just missing something.
I don't know what, but just like it was amazing how he saved her and how he is helping her recover from seven months of hell but it did not have any intense moments that allowed me to feel her pain.
I felt removed from it. Just a little too detached to me.
After all the events that unfolded during her captivity, her responses were just too neat and tidy for me.
Real pain is messy and hard to read about.
The potential was there but it missed out on the real emotion for me. It was a good book and I would recommend it.
Maybe since I have read so many great books dealing with PTSD or trauma, that this one would feel less than real.
No shower scenes scrubbing herself clean for hours, no cowering in a corner or fear of large crowds. I can go on and on but since everyone deals with trauma differently, I just let that one go.
It could have been more intense and I wanted it more intense!
I guess, for me it's like going to an awesome amusement park and then visiting your local park.
Nice but not the same level of excitement.
These are Just my thoughts.
Good book no cheating and a sweet tale of love and recovery.

J. S. Scott AT HER BEST!!!!
I absolutely fell in love with this story. If we read the last book we know what happened to Chloe and the challenges she had to overcome to find true happiness.
This book picks up pretty much from Chloe's story, as we see Ellie finding herself in a bit of a tight situation trying to help her best friend from the hands of a madman. In her attempt to fight evil, Ellie puts herself in the middle of danger and ends up being kindnapped, and pretty much left to die. Author J.S. Scott puts the readers in the centre of the story and we can feel every emotion and pain that our female lead is going through. Plenty of Angst but all this is beautifully written and I can only say this as testament of a brilliant writer for it is not easily achieved.
As with other books from this Author, you find yourself unable to put the book down for one second. It's like a crave, even when you aren't reading you are continuously thinking of the characters and desperate to get back and read on. Well I just couldn't turn my back on this book and finished it in one sitting.
Who is Zane Colter. Zane, in my opinion, is the most unusual of the Alpha Billionaire's. I am not saying his predecessors weren't smart but Zane is unbelievably smart. His job and what he has accomplished in his line of work makes him a genius and his research a target and easy pray for those seeking fame and fortune. Last we read, he was helping his sister Chloe and has spent all his time searching for Ellie. He knows something is terribly wrong and is desperate to find her.
Zane and Ellie have a long and difficult path to overcome. Ellie must fight not only the demons of her terrible ordeal but also her insecurities before she can let herself be loved. Love on the other hand is an alien feeling for Zane and he, in turn, must learn to deal with all this sudden, powerful and unknown emotions if he doesn't want to loose the only thing that has ever matter to him.
This story is so emotional. It has all those hot and steamy moments we all love and have learnt to live without from these books. Plenty of twists and turns and a lovely reunion from past characters, plus a snippet into the next Billionaire to grace our shelves!! eek I say no more...Just remember

I am a one clickaholic when it comes to the Billionaire series by this Author. I don't even read the blurb. If it's up on pre order, I click. I have been hooked since the series began with Simon Hudson in The Billionaire's Obsession. Oh yeah, he's mine. I get completely lost in these books and this one is no different. It's a brand new story filled with love, romance, sex, danger, super intense moments. Is it just me or are these books becoming more wicked? wickedly good of course but you know what I mean. There is more danger, more intensity. I always say, 'God, I loved that book' and then another comes out and I keep thinking it's better than the last one when in reality they are all brilliantly done, it's just a new story with new characters we have been dying to read about.
Zane Colter a man that doesn't give up and thankfully he never gave up on Ellie. Zane is not only Ellie's hero, he's mine and probably many more readers feel the same way. The guy could claim me any day of the week. I know, I'm already spoken for with Simon but hey, he has Kara. Anyways moving on. This story I found it to be very emotional. There were times when my heart almost broke for Ellie and Chloe even Zane. The struggles of moving forward after everything that has happened to them is hard to overcome. Zane is not about to give up, he will do anything for Ellie to be happy and feel safe once again.
Just when you think life can be good again given time and help from support of family and friends life throws another curve ball at Ellie and the Colter family. It's a very intense situation to say the least. Zane fears the worst that Ellie will put herself in danger. Tate and Marcus hatch a plan that no one wants to be left out of. All for one and one for all.
Imagine having all the alpha males in one room. It makes my skin tingle, LOL!! Sorry I just can't help it, as much as I was drawn into the story and bad things were happening, I couldn't help but think boy I would love to be in that room right now with all those hot, strong alpha men. One thing you can always guarantee with the Billionaire's they know how to claim a woman. They will not rest until the words 'you are mine' are spoken. The billionaire series completely blows me away every time. I am so thankful that I started this amazing journey.
Thank you Author J.S Scott for another fabulous read. You have developed your characters so well I feel like they are a part of my life, or is that wishful thinking? Either way as always I look forward to the next instalment.
I highly recommended to all lovers of Romance. If you haven't ever read a book by this Author then you are seriously missing out. Thousands and I mean thousands of readers sit in anticipation for a new release and it's worth every waiting day.

You really outdid yourself this time, J.S. Scott. Move over Tate because your brother Zane is rising to the top. Zane comes in the form of a handsome, possessive, demanding, insanely rich nerdy scientist. He doesn't do small talk, blunt and to the point, no beating around the bush for this genius. Zane has been looking for Ellie Winters for seven months, using his scientific background to help figure out where she has been taken, by James, the idiot that had mistreated his sister Chloe in Billionaire Unbound. James is dead, and time is running out for Ellie and that is something that is just not acceptable to Zane. He will never give up on finding Ellie.
The opening of this book is a gripping recount of what happened to Ellie, and then straight into an emotional, tear jerking account of what kind of condition she was in when Zane found her. From there Zane sets out to take care of Ellie, help her heal, make her laugh, and keep her safe no matter what. But Ellie has always been a strong and independent woman, so believe me Zane has his hands full with her. There is never a dull moment in this book, as Zane and Ellie, fight what they have known since she was the teenager friend of his sister, that the two of them belong together. But some people have other ideas for the happy couple, and they want what Zane has, and will stop at nothing to get it.
I highly recommend this book to all romance lovers, you will not be able to put it down, and you will not be able to stop yourself from falling in love with Zane. Five fantastic stars for this one!!

In this ninth installment my favorite author J.S Scott fulfilled Zane Story. The match for him Ellie Winters. Like all stories by this particular author, in is an inducement of which she addresses real life horrors. Being of hardship, disappear, poverty, abandonment, neglect, emotional abuse, physical abuse and so much more. To read and love a J.S Scott novel is to understand and appreciate that it is not only an erotic romance read but all profound journey of hurt/ lost to the light of happiness. Mrs Scott inputs by every story, pain to passion! Hurt to healing !! Avenue to paradise !!! All taking this fantastic journey to happiness.
I would also like to congratulate the author for her handling of the emotional scenes of captivity and recovery. I can just imagine difficult and trying it was to put into words as her muse of talent leads her, to a successful and satisfying read that keep me engaged and brought tears to by eyes.
I'm looking forward to an update of Ellie and Zane Coulter in a future read as they remain in my heart. <3

Stunning, is the first word that comes to mind when describing Billionaire Undaunted, with the last book in the Billionaire series, Ellie has been kidnapped and we have all been left wondering what happened to her.
Zane Colter is another amazing character to come out of this series, he and Ellie grew up together and there has always been a spark there. When Zane rescues Ellie he is horrified at what he finds.
Reading what Ellie had been through, left me in tears and wondering if she was ever going to be able to recover from it. Her story is so emotional you can feel the heartache and pain that she has been through. I loved Zane, he doesn't give up on Ellie and does everything he can to help her, along with the support of his family.
Every book in this series gets better, fantastic read.

Another really enjoyable book from J.S. Scott. This is a stand alone, but picks up pretty much where Billionaire Unbound left off. While I've read all of Ms. Scott's books, I don't think you will feel very lost if this is your first book.
While Zane makes an adorable geeky scientist, Ellie is his prefect match. And although Ellie has made it through a horrific ordeal, with a little help from Zane, she perceivers.
For me, the book wasn't as dark as the blurb hinted at. That wasn't necessarily bad, but it also didn't go quite the way I was expecting given the nature of what James had done. All in all a good book and I look forward to J.S. Scott's next book.

Ellie is kidnapped and held prisoner for months she was finally giving in to pretty much dying until he saved her .. Zane never gave up hope of finding Ellie alive but what he didn't except to see was something even he was not prepared for ... I am not going to give away spoliers but this a amazing read I just love the Coulters Family this is a must read if you follow the series .. Jan has a way of bringing her characters to life Now i must wait for Blakes story

I received copy of this book for honest review. What awesome series JS Scott writes best books ever. Billionaire undaunted about Chloe best friend Ellie get kidnapped by James who held her for months without water and food basic needs. She was physically and emotionally defeat by James which Chloe brother Zane go out help find Ellie. Once he find Ellie this where there story being.

Jan has out done herself once again. Words can't describe the love I have for Zane. A man determined to not give up on his mission. Again how love can conquered all. The self esteem that Ellie destroys as time passes. The close knit of family ties of the Colter is amazing.

Every since reading the Billionaire Unbound in November of last year and I found out about Ellie I was so worried about her sometimes I had to remind my self this is fictional characters lol . So When I realized that in the next book the Billionaire Undaunted that Ellie was the main female lead thrilled. I was counting down the days until it was out and then I was lucky enough to get a copy of the ARC . I read it as soon as I got the chance to, I finished this book in one day I could not stop reading. I will say this again and again and again in every post I do about J.S.Scott books these books continue to get better and better as they come out. This book gave me everything i have come to love and expect from a J.SS.cott book and much more .I loved the Billionaire Undaunted .
In this book we follow Ellie and Zane and omg did I loves these together . I loved seeing them fall in love every sweet , funny , sexy , swoon worthy moment between these was just wonderful to read . I loved that we say Ellie and Zane open up to each other it was beautiful to see .As usually J.S.Scott always finds a way to incorporate more heavier issue in her book ,in this book we see Ellie dealing with the after math of being physical , mentally and emotional abuse by her kidnapper. I felt that J.S.Scott dealt with it in a way that was both realistic and inspiring . Ellie shows us that it is possible to live life again even after such a traumatic experience she is such a strong character, I love that she does not let this define her , I love that she is determined to get her life back to the way she wants it . Zane, Zane , Zane , I love this man Iam so happy with the way he steeped in as Ellie protector, the way he was determined to find her, the way he is determine to help in any way he can he is just amazing, He is such and interesting male lead( and he is very very attractive and he is also a scientist I just want to add that in as well lmao) Iam so happy that we got to know him this book . The Romance between Ellie and Zane was perfect you would think that it would be difficult to write a romance between these two because of what Ellie has been through but the way J.S.Scott wrote it was perfect for there story nothing felt rushed .Between the heartwarming , steaming hot romance , the wonderful cast of characters and beautiful settings J.S.Scott has created another fantastic story with the Billionaire Undaunted .

In this book we follow Ellie and Zane and omg did I loves these together . I loved seeing them fall in love every sweet , funny , sexy , swoon worthy moment between these was just wonderful to read . I loved that we say Ellie and Zane open up to each other it was beautiful to see .As usually J.S.Scott always finds a way to incorporate more heavier issue in her book ,in this book we see Ellie dealing with the after math of being physical , mentally and emotional abuse by her kidnapper. I felt that J.S.Scott dealt with it in a way that was both realistic and inspiring . Ellie shows us that it is possible to live life again even after such a traumatic experience she is such a strong character, I love that she does not let this define her , I love that she is determined to get her life back to the way she wants it . Zane, Zane , Zane , I love this man Iam so happy with the way he steeped in as Ellie protector, the way he was determined to find her, the way he is determine to help in any way he can he is just amazing, He is such and interesting male lead( and he is very very attractive and he is also a scientist I just want to add that in as well lmao) Iam so happy that we got to know him this book . The Romance between Ellie and Zane was perfect you would think that it would be difficult to write a romance between these two because of what Ellie has been through but the way J.S.Scott wrote it was perfect for there story nothing felt rushed .Between the heartwarming , steaming hot romance , the wonderful cast of characters and beautiful settings J.S.Scott has created another fantastic story with the Billionaire Undaunted .

Well it's no secret that I'm a big fan of J. S. Scott and this series. I was super looking forward to this one and I wasn't disappointed. This series really does keep getting better and better, instead of running out of steam as some series can. This is probably my favourite so far.
Ellie has been missing for months and most have written her off as a statistic. Zane, her best friends brother and also childhood friend, is different and refuses to give up on finding the her whereabouts. When he does discover her she's in a pretty bad way and had suffered a pretty brutal ordeal.
This book had it all. There was super swoony romance with lots of hotness, but also a good amount of suspense, action, emotion and a well thought out, developed plot.
Zane and Ellie were great. I loved how they both had their own insecurities to deal with. Zane was a typical alpha male but with a softer, nerdier side that I loved. Ellie was also great and I admired her strength and goodness after all that she'd been through. I loved reading their journey. It was also great to catch up with other characters too and see how other characters may feature more prominently further on in the series.
This was a great read that I devoured in one sitting and thoroughly enjoyed. I would definitely recommend to fans of romance with some hot alpha males.

Another massive HIT for Author JS Scott!!! Right from the beginning I was hooked by Ellie's story. OMG I cried the first 3/4 pages in and couldn't put it down until I finished it.
After being rescued by Zane Colter, Ellie had a lot of healing to do and not just physical but deep emotional scars that could really tear her apart, but, wow JS Scott wrote one tough cookie in the form of Ellie!!! I loved the journey she took geeky Zane and Ellie on. Just when you think god these two have been through enough and need their HEA BANG!! another plot twist that could destroy everything these characters hold close.
JS Scott always writes steamy romance novels that keep you turning the pages and have you on the edge of your seat. She most definitely did not disappoint in this latest Billionaire Novel.
Be prepared because once you start you won't want to stop until it has all been read!!! Can't wait for more

If you've been following a long in the JS Scott's Billionaire series you know that Ellie, Chloe Colter's best friend has been missing for months. Most people have presumed she is dead. Chloe's brother, Zane has never given up. He uses his scientific knowledge to find her.

This book had me feeling quite a range of emotions. I cried for Ellie, felt a little bad for Zane with his social awkwardness, thrilled when they started to come together as a couple.
JS Scott has a way of pulling a person into the story in a way that really grips you. I read this book straight through because I couldn't put it down.
This book is part of a series but I feel it can also be a stand alone book.

This was a fast paced book for me. I love the relationship between Zane and Ellie. There were times when my heart fluttered, times it ached and I even got the chills a few times. In this book you will get to know and love these two and you’ll fall in love with the Colter’s more and more. This was a low drama book and I enjoyed that. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with for the next one.

I'm truly additive to J.S. Scott's books and this one is another home run for her. Billionaire Undaunted is about Zane Colter, loner, scientist and sexy combined into one hell of a man. He is still looking for Ellie, which we met in Billionaire Unbound when she mysteriously disappeared.
Ellie and Zane knew each other in school and they both had crushes on each other, but never told or acted upon them. Now Zane finds Ellie almost dead and helps heal her the only way a Colter can with kindness, love and passion.
I was taken on an emotional rollercoaster of what Ellie went through and my heart was happy Zane found her before it was too late.
As the healing process begins for Ellie, who still wants to be an independent woman, Zane is there to help in anyway possible. However, heads begin to butt until both realize that they need each other. Needless to say, J. S. Scott treats us to some hot sexy passionate scenes.
And just when things calm down, another dangerous situation occurs for them. However, when families stick together like the Colters they can make it through anything.
I love how J. S. Scott always incorporates the characters from her past book within the series to give us an update on their lives and a morsel of who the next book will be about.

What is not to love about geeky Zane Colter. You fall in love with him along with Ellie with every turn of the page. I love this series and how the whole family touches the book and you get glimpses of this episode outside of Zane and Ellie rather than only scenes when they are with them.
Zane never gave up on Ellie and worked tirelessly to fined her. When he finally finds her on deaths doorstep he has no intention of ever letting her go. Ellie has suffered hell for months and has always had a hard time accepting help and leaning on someone else but Zane is not just anyone and he has always had a piece of her heart.
This is a great book and an awesome addition to this series. Who knew billionaires could be so down to earth and seem completely real. Don't miss this amazing. Installment.

I love this series’ characters and the emotional stories of love. They make me laugh, cry and want to be a part of their perfectly imperfect world. While, happily, many of the characters I’ve grown attached to are part of this story, Elle and Zane’s journey is uniquely their own. Maybe that’s why this series is so appealing – the stories and the people who live them offer something different each time out.
Elle’s world is shattered and put on hold as she is tormented for months by her captor. Only Zane’s refusal to believe she is dead, eventually saves her. No, that’s not romantic at all… *swoon* And Elle couldn’t have been happier as her healing draws them closer and closer.

Another J S Scott hit!! This story hits the ground running and has a nail biting, oh my gosh opening! I could not put this book down! Zane Colter had been looking for Ellie Winters for 7 months. An evil man who had also hurt his sister, Chloe, had taken Ellie. He would never give up looking for her. He was half crazy wanting to find her. When he does find her she is near death and he is determined to help her get well no matter what he has to do to accomplish this. Ellie begins to heal and their relationship changes. They realize just how much after an employee, wanting for his own crazy reasons, takes Zane hostage.

There is always something spectacular about J.S. Scott's books, and Billionaire Undaunted was no excetion. I've always had a soft spot for a man that is socially awkward, and Zane Colteer fit that bill to the T!! His awesome intelligence, brutal honesty, and huge heart, combined with his sexy good looks is just what a woman with a low selfesteem needs. Ellie having a huge crush on the beautiful Zane Colter since childhood, learns that not only has she always been accepted just the way she is, she's always had a passionate love and understanding for a man with his own esteem issues. Together, they make the perfect combination of quirky, and loveable. Not only do horrible events throw them together, but dangerous situations make them realize the depth of their feelings for each other!!! Beautiful and awesome story!!! Gives you everything, and yet you keep wanting more. Those Colter men just keep getting better and better!!! Awesome read, and highly recommended!!! ☆☆☆☆☆

Tate use to be my favorite Colter but Zane has now taken the crown.
We all needed to know what happen to Ellie, and I can;t think of anyone more perfect to be her Knight in Shining Armor than Zane.
In all his nerdy goodness he is abrupt, quiet, and serious. But he starts to come out of his shell and it's like watching a butterfly emerge from a cocoon.
Ellie has just been through one of the worst experiences a person could live thru. She has alot of healing to do and Zane thinks he is the one to help her.
Together these two blossom into a natural love that has simmered for years and only now starts to burn hot.
Can not wait for Blake's story and I just know Marcus is going to be hot, hot, hot. Thank you for another great read.

"Billionaire Undaunted" (The Billionaire's Obsession Book 9 ~ Zane) by J.S. Scott is a great read. I loved Zane and Ellie's story. This book is packed full of drama, passion, overcoming tragic events, friends to lovers, close families, and so much more. This is an excellent addition to The Billionaire's Obsession Series. Looking forward to see what happens next. Recommend to all fans of romance.

Billionaire Undaunted by J.S. Scott was a great book. J.S. Scott is an amazing author and I have never read any of her work that I didn't like. I loved reading Zane and Ellie's story. Even under the most stressful situations they try and find a way to be happy. This was an amazing book. I can't wait to read more of The Billionaire's Obsession books. I recommend this book to everyone.

Simply beautiful...I cried. I cried for Ellie. I cried for her courage,her strength, her determination,her wit...I cried for what she went through with James and I cried at her resolve to get back strong.
I applauded her strength , I applauded Zane's patience and care for Ellie.
Great addition to this series..Loved it can't wait for Marcus and Blake's additions.
