Twist, Jonas and Myra had inadvertently found Atlantis when taken there against their will by Storm, the satyr and changeling, and now they were once again travelling there in a most luxurious and technologically advanced airship as guests of Aden, the head of the Rooks. Poor Twist had had his identity really threatened by the new revelations divulged to him, finding out that he might still have family, and that he was never the British gentleman he believed he was, but in fact not only born to foreign parents but related to gypsies, and his mother had been a witch. He found out that he and Jonas were part of the same soul of a fae who had been split, thus explaining their strong bond and why their powers did not work on one another. The fae were out to kill them but had to kill them together, if they ever were to get their own fae soul back intact. However this does not stop them from venturing into the land of the fae when people start to vanish into thin air when talking about their legend, and when called upon to save Kima's son, who had been stolen and replaced by the changeling known as Storm. This is the first book in the series which I found difficult to get into, in fact the beginning I found pretty boring but the story took an exciting turn for the better once they arrive in Atlantis and go into the land of the fae. I hate that Aden turned against them and betrayed their trust so badly but love that Myra and Tasha acted so heroically to save their friends.
