Charm, beauty, and the promise of a new adventure had Heidi Rustler eagerly flying across the ocean to visit her best friend, Rhea Conners. Heidi needed a change of scenery, a change of pace, and a little excitement, and that is the promise that awaited her in Ireland. However, Rhea's stories of the incredible family she'd come to know intrigued Heidi the most. Particularly the stories of Riley O'Rifcan. Riley loved his life. He spent his days traveling for work, loving on his family, and flirting with feminine faces. He never once thought about settling down. Until Heidi. The bold and beautiful woman from Texas stampeded into his world and challenged his commitment-free and easy-going lifestyle. Two hearts. One chance. Can Heidi and Riley recognize their opportunity for a new and different kind of adventure?
I sat here for about five minutes trying to think of something prolific to write, and all I came up with was that first sentence. However, despite it being simple and understated, it's a genuine response. I appreciate all who read and listen to my books. And for those who rate and review it, a special thanks to you. Happy Reading! Katharine

The book had a nice romantic ending and plenty of angst. It was fun to cat h up on the O'Rifcan clan and Riley is a great character and it was amusing to see him upended by a woman since he is usually the charmer. But I really had a hard time warming up to Heidi. She was a teaser and very aggressive and outspoken. She should not have pursued Riley so hard and then walked away!
Heidi is a bit of a spitfire. She's listened to Rhea talk about her boys for a month now and finally gets to meet them for herself. Before even arriving, she knows Riley is the one she wants to meet first. He has all the charm and good looks for a great holiday fling.
But Riley proves to be much deeper than he lets on and Heidi soon finds herself falling in too deep for someone who has to return home soon.
Beautiful writing. Heartwarming storyline. Characters who hit you right in the feels. This is not a story you'll soon forget. I can't wait for the next one in the series.
Riley: The Siblings O’Rifcan was written by Katherine Hudson. It is book two of the series. Riley is one of the sons of Sidna and Claron O’Rifcan of Castlebrook, Ireland. The sons inherited their gorgeous looks and their ability to flirt and charm women came from their father. The boys grew up just knowing what to do in social situations. Riley was a little put out when his older brother, Claron nabbed Rhea Connors as his bride because he was the first one of the O’Rifcan’s who met her. He came across her on the road into town. Her car had a flat tire and it was raining heavily. However, as attracted to her as he was, he didn’t have that spark needed and he wasn’t ready to propose. Besides, one look at each other and Rhea and Claron were hooked. Riley never understood this instant bond until he first met Heidi Rustler, a friend and former accountant from Boston. Heidi had moved to Boston, following a guy. She had gone to work for the same firm as Rhea had and they became roommates as they had been inn college. When Rhea left Boston, Heidi was alone. She decided to move back to Texas; but before she moved, she wanted to visit Rhea in Ireland. Little did she realize the changes that were coming her way.
Ok it took me a minute to like Heidi. I mean I understood her hesitation on not moving for a man as she'd been there, done that and had the t-shirt to prove it. However as bold and strong as she portrayed she carried a tender broken heart. A heart that found love but ultimately was to scared to make herself vulnerable again. But that's the thing isn't it? If you don't put yourself out there you won't get hurt but you also will never find love and happiness. I think that's the moral of this book. Riley and all the O'Rifcan clan are amazing and we get to catch up with Rhea and Clary. This truly is a good book series on family, love and Ireland! Layla is not my favorite O'Rifcan so lets see if her story can change my mind... Bang on readers!
Riley, the flirt, meets Heidi, who is also happens to be a flirt. Heidi’s friend has talked Riley up so much that she wants to meet him when she arrives to visit Rhea in Ireland. When they meet they have immediate chemistry. The problem is that Heidi is only visiting then will be returning to the states in two weeks. Can Riley tame Heidi enough she will stay in Ireland?
We met Riley in book 1 when he rescued Rhea on the side of the road. Heidi is Rhea's best friend and she's come for a visit after Rhea has decided to stay in Ireland. You will love Heidi! When she meets Riley he is everything Rhea has told her and she is definitely not shy. Great story! I am so hooked on this series!
Rhea found happiness now she wants Heidi to come to Ireland, there is still more O’Rifcan men. She has been talking about Ireland, the different men, especially Riley., both are stubborn, she is from Texas, love has happened. Another delightful plot and audio, given for my voluntary review and my honest opinion
Being Irish, I read every book I can find about beautiful Ireland. I was able to travel to Ireland with my sister, Deidre in 2013, "The Year of the Gathering". Because we were on a tour we worn name tags and got a lot of comments from different places, welcoming us Home! Galway and The Dingle Peninsula were two of my favorite places.🍀
I love this series about the O'Rifcan clan. These characters are so much fun to read about. The stories are interesting with little twists. I have the third book in the series ready to start now. So come with me & read about the clan of O'Rifcans in Ireland. It is a GOOD CLEAN READ.
I loved this story. I’m sad I have to wait for my preordered book 3. I am in love with the stories about this family. Great job Katherine E Hamilton another homer in in my book!
This series has captured my heart. I am so happy I found it. The first book was great, and the second was even better. I love the way the first story continues in this one. This family is the best.
This story was squeaky clean, sweet, and light. Well written, and the editing was good. I'm happy to read the next one in the series. I would have given 4 stars if there was a bit more intensity.
I wasn't a fan of Heidi. She came on extremely fast but then sort fizzled out. Idk. Why tell him that you're interested when you know he doesn't want to do anything since you're leaving?
