I have this thing I always say "I love me some gooood books about the south and some family secrets!" And when I tell yall this book was EVERYTHING! It had my attention from the beginning. Poor girl! Everyone had a damn secret and boy did that make for a good read! I don't want to spoil it by saying too much but if you know B.M Hardin you know she's always on point.

OMG this was a great read and page turner. This family had so many secrets it isn't funny. The author did a great job with writing this book.

Hidden Secrets
This book had me on the edge of my seat! There were so many secrets going on , I couldn't keep track!!
Savannah left South Carolina fifteen years ago after graduating from high school, little did she know the town she left has many secrets hidden in the dirt.
This book was well written i really enjoyed this story, Great Job B. M Hardin. I recommend this book.
I read this book again because I chose it for our book club March Read! Once again I truly enjoyed every page of this book, it was well written, the story line kept you guessing what else is going to surface? Over all a Great Read again. 5 Stars BM Hardin.

New favorite
I've said it before, but I have to reiterate....Ms. Hardin is just blessed with the pen. This book is my new favorite by this author. She so expertly conveys the essence of southern life with all its nuances and family allegiances and dysfunction, loyalties, lies and love. This book just touched my heart. It's cliche to say I didn't want it to end and as with all Ms. Hardin's books, I felt like I sat with my jaw dropped at the end and my head shaking and wondering how to review a book that speaks for itself. Everything about this book captivated me; first, the author, then the synopsis and that cover! It didn't end the way I wanted, but that's the beauty in a BM Hardin book - she always gives the unexpected. Did I mention she still managed to weave her signature twists and turns in this southern charmer? If you're a Hardin fan, I know you need no arm twisting to read this, but if you're not a fan, let this fast-paced, 'can't put down' read be your introduction!!!

(Thriller = 4/5 ⭐️)
“Isn’t that how it goes? Someone you love is usually the one responsible for doing the unthinkable to you. Whether it’s physically or mentally. It doesn’t really matter. At some point in time…love always hurts.”
This was my first read by BM Hardin and I’ll admit I picked it up because of the beautiful cover, but the story was very good and engaging from beginning to end. The characters are very realistic and relatable.

Secretly Sizzling
I don't know where to begin. This book had so many twists...so many secrets. Just when one secret was revealed there was another and another. Nothing was predictable. This book was so deep and authentic it makes me wonder was some of from real life events. This book of secrets had me on the edge of my seat wanting more. I hope there is a sequel. It just has to be.

Keeping Secrets can have long lasting consequences!
What a story! So many secrets, so many lies! I really hate how it ended. A lot of blame, unforgiveness and some things are still bound to resurface in the future. Savannah will never fully recover because she's now keeping secrets. The truth always comes to light. A family forever scarred, no real healing just more cover ups, secrets! A great read a d excellent book club choice for March!

Secrets! Oh my!
There was only one thing I figured out in this book, everything else had me going!! Chiiiiillle! Chiiille Chiiile!! This thang had wondering what was next! The author did an excellent job of keeping my attention, while I tried to figure out the next twist. Very good read. I plan to read more of this authors work!!

Yasss.. such an amazing and thrilling read!!!
Ok B.M. sooo you didn't come to play and you wrote wrote Secrets of the South!! 2 bottles of wine and a bag of emotions later I'm sad it had to end. I felt like I was sitting in a movie theater watching a darn good movie! Seriously this is one of the best books I've read by far. It just draws you in immediately and captures your attention right up until the very end. Oh and the anticipation and the twists and turns were everything! Definitely a 5 star read and highly recommended to readers!!

Another great read!
B.M. Hardin never disappoints. A true reflection of what goes on in the south. Never saw the ending coming, but it all made sense. 5 stars, 10/10 on a scale. All that, plus more, keep up the great work!!!!!

Another hit!
BM Hardin never fails to bring on the hits. I was born and raised in the South and secrets are easily kept within families, but this book had so many twists, turns, lies and secrets that it had my head spinning. I was really surprised at the ending, but quite disappointed in the decision that Savannah made about her child. I thought that she and Jace would actually get back together. Great job with the suspense in this book.

BM. Hardin does it again... I can truly say that no one book of hers is the same, the only thing you can bet on is having some jaw dropping moments and wanting to throw the book or whatever device you are reading on across the room as you yell WTF!!! She is the Queen of twist and turns and creating scenes and moments that are so twisted and out of the norm.. you literally never see her endings coming!! This book seemed so real, if you are from the South, you experienced one or two of the things that went on in this novel..

This was definitely different from BM Hardin! But she surely did NOT disappoint!!!! These weren’t JUST any secrets! Has me clutching my invisible pearls left and right!!! I had so much hope for Savannah and Jace! But that LAST secret just blew my mind! A MUST read! This is hands down one of the best books I’ve EVER read!!!

Amazing
This was an amazing drama filled story from a great author. Savannah comes back home after leaving without any explanation for many years. While back where her life was forever changed secrets begin to unfold amongst her family and family she didnt know about that changes her life even more. Will she be able to survive all the secrets of the South and what repercussions happen when they are revealed.

AS ALWAYS JAW DROPPING ACTION IT WAS LIKE YOU WAS IN THE SOUTH AND WATCHING EVERYTHING UNFOLD... I definitely wasn't expecting that outcome.. It was a fantastic read by the way.. I really thought that V and Jace were going to end up together😕 after rekindling their love.. I orginally thought her father wife killed her mom but I didnt think it was her own uncle that did it.. B.M. Hardin you've done it again!!! 🤗

Now that was good. So many twists & turns. So much lies & deceit. This book definitely kept me in suspense. A page turner for real. The end though , i definitely didn't see that coming. I was hoping for a part 2, but I'll deal with a standalone. Lol

Speechless and Sleepless
Words escape me for the moment. I bought this book on Saturday night while I was at work and it's after 5 AM and I just finished it. I love it!! I can't wait to see more of Jace and Savannah..hint hint. Thank you for a sleepless night but it was well worth it.

Wow
This book had everything. Drama suspense murder secrets scandal. Everything. When I tell you I couldn’t put it down. The way the story flowed was like watching a movie play. The secrets in the south Lawd Jesus it was everything. Savannah characters went through it all but she found herself and her purpose. Amazing story.

She did it again!
Wow. This book started off fascinating and kept the full roller coaster through it. I rooted for V the whole way though. Her family and so many secrets, it was madness. I felt like I was watching over her eyes as things happened! I would love a what if book for her based on that day to see how it changes.

Wow
I must say Hardin did it again. So much drama and suspense. I just didn't like the fact of that ending. I was hoping Vana would have been better than that and not do evil for evil about the baby. I really like Jace. I was so rooting for him, but didn't work out like that. Good read.

Sooo good!
The book started out sort of slower than her other books, but sped up fast & left me wanting more! I loved everything from the characters to the plot! All of her books have me feeling like I’m watching a movie! Love it & cant wait for more!

This was definitely a story that consisted of some many secrets that will definitely have to keep up with them to fully understand the story. In a way I felt sorry for Savannah however, she needed some help and it seemed like she had no one she wanted to trust. By the end when it all comes to her and what would she do I found it hard to believe she couldn't forgive. So, she thought that going back to her old way of life be would be best for her...remarrying her ex husband and have another man's baby? Will this really give her what she really wanted in giving up her family? Well, all the left for me to say ... the best to her with her new life! What a story!

Amazing Read
I'm never disappointed whenever reading a book by this Author. This is definitely more than a 5 star read. Savannah returning home back to the South. Unearthed a lot of scandalous, trifling, and deadly secrets. Savannah got to witness how trifling her cousin Marlo really is. Savannah found out the truth behind her friendship with Livy that lead to one of the reasons why she left in the first place. She faced her fear of Harvey and what he had done. Savannah found out who Kori was to her. She thought her and Jace were able to rekindle their relationship. Until new news came out about the death of her mother that left her even more shocked and heartbreaking. I felt sorry for her when the truth was revealed because the answers she was looking for. Hit close to home. Savannah got more than she bargained for.

WOW!!!
This book was AMAZING! I had mixed reviews on Jace and her ex husband. I was still rooting for Jace. Scandalous secrets are always prevalent in small towns. I admired Grandmas strength with dealing with the death of her daughter at the hands of her son, and also battling cancer privately. I feel like jace got cheated. And I feel as though, Livy finally got peace... man this book made me laugh, cry, and become angry.... especially with Harvey and how he ruined two innocent girls... this needs to become a movie! I absolutely love this author. Suspense at its finest!!!! I hate the book ended ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

What you do in the dark
I love reading this author's books. Her storylines and characters are so well developed, where you can actually see and feel what is happening.
My attention was grabbed right from the beginning until the end of the book and I still wanted more. Just as you think one or two secrets gets out and dealt with here comes one that is even bigger than the first one.
My emotions were on a rollercoaster happy then sad, anger, laughter, sorrow and more.
If you love a book that has romance, mystery and suspense storylines, I highly recommend this book to read.
