Infinity Loop: A Time Traveling Adventure Harem

Rate this book
Where would you go if you could travel through time?

Tyler Gillis is just an average janitor working in a not-so-average lab. Nobody notices him, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t paying attention. When the biggest discovery of all time happens right before his eyes, Tyler can’t help but borrow one of the handheld devices—a small watch that can take him anywhere in history.

The only question where will he go first? Will he witness the construction of the pyramids? Will he travel to the age of the dinosaurs? Will he sail the high seas with Blackbeard?

The possibilities are endless.

But when he uses the time travel device, a portal opens and sucks him through. He finds himself standing before a vast city he doesn’t recognize—something he never even believed existed. Something the history books know little about, and many believe to be a myth.

The lost city of Atlantis.

With no knowledge of the people, their history, or how to get home, Tyler struggles to stay afloat in a world he barely understands. With the help of a princess and a warrior priestess, Tyler will have to find a way to recharge his watch and journey home.

But only if he can survive.

Go Back In Time⏳ and Change Your Life? HA!

Adults Only Male Fantasy🌈🌁
All I can say is Tyler🐺 has been a loser for his entire adult life. He shows no ambition, no gumption, no guts. At this rate, he'll never get any glory and will end up hating how he wasted his life. But maybe he's not bright enough to see he has wasted his life up to now.
He's a janitor at a scientific lab, when one evening he hears two of the scientists talking about time travel. One of them has tried it. The device is strapped on the wrist.
After they leave, Tyler🐺 steals one of the devices and reads up on their research, but he is like the guy that finds the magic lamp. He wants to think about where he will go and why. That gets him to thinking about money, and how, knowing what he knows now, he can turn a few bucks in the past into a zillion bucks In The future.
Oops! Instead,The device takes him to the mythical island of Atlantis, way, way back in time.

ARC Received 💕
I also got the book with KU

I'm not a fan of first person accounts. The book📙 needed more editing, there are a fairly large number of spelling errors in the published book. I had a hard time getting interested in the book because Tyler is not an interesting or sympathetic character. In fact he's an unlikable character, he's the South end of a donkey going north.

The book also rambles quite a bit and I kept hoping Tyler🐺 would redeem his character somehow. Not happening.

Loser MC

This book strikes out from the very start. The MC is a certified letter from the start and doesn't improve himself at all. This guy is 30 years old in a dead end job, lives with his mother. Gets a $300 paycheck that he decides to use by getting cash and going back in time to invest and get.... wait for it... $130,000. That is his goal!?! He proclaims to himself that having 130K in his bank account is being rich.

If you have a time travel device, would you not look up some lottery numbers or at least do the whole deal from the movie "Back to the Future"? Not this guy $130K is as big as his dreams get.

On top of this, we are expected to believe this science lab in the heart of a city, had NO security other than good old key locks. Not even a security guard. And yet the 'scientists' invent time travel in a bracelet.

Come on man. Suspension of disbelief not suspension of having a brain.

Hmmm... An ok start to the series.
The plot is intriguing, but the whining & silliness of MC made the first half of the book not so interesting. The ending was good though, it should have handled better.

Thing is, the author should note the below plot holes and fix them in the second book, or else it's not going to be successful.

1. MC should not whine like little boy/girl, he should show some maturity.

2. He doesn't have any skills, and the author should focus on his character development more.

3. It is wonderful, that you have chosen a nice place for time travel, but you should have explored more. I hope this happens in book 2.

Overall an okayish read, let's see how it goes in the second book.

This is book 1 to a new series for me and I'm truly hoping book 2 is better. I felt that I really couldn't connect with the book and the main character was a bit on the whiney side which was a turn off to me. I'm hoping that the characters in the next book are written a bit stronger so I don't lose interest like I did with this one.

I wasn't sure what to think when I started it, but after a few chapters I was totally sucked in! I'm a sucker for mythology and the paranormal so this did not disappoint. It had the right amount of drama and mystery and passion that makes this a great read.
