Just a short, but free, book - an easy and entertaining read. Some stories are fairly plain descriptive episodes, but some of the others are really interesting and adventurous. I'm sure the author has many amazing tales and this book is a great taster. Could use some copy-editing and proofreading.
This book could have been a great book. It really is short examples or chapters from other books. So you only get parts of the adventures and with a disjointed story. Was interesting enough to look into the authors full book.
I love travel books—it’s almost like being there. And if the traveler is a woman, extra points because IT COULD BE ME if I were a lot braver and had a spare couple of years…. But if the author is an outstanding writer—well—that would describe this book. Loved it!
The book needed editing. The mistakes were jarring and detracted from my enjoyment of the book. But I did like how her writing style changed with the country she was writing about.
This book is full of fun & adventure, crossing continents & state lines. A bold & courageous woman who has travelled the world by herself shares it in her own words.
