Aliens at war!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙
Romance: 💙💚💜

Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙📔

Character development: 🤐🤫🫣☺️

The heroine: Bryce - She is the only human woman woman on the prison planet without a mate. She volunteered for the trip into space with the other 9 women because her brother recently died and Bryce blames herself for his death. She and most of the others from their group are holed up inside a mountain which has apartments built into the caves. The Zorahn soldiers know where they are and are outside the mountain which is protected by a dome made from tech and the soldiers can’t penetrate it.

The Heroes: Cax and Hurux - These two both were initially seen in the last book Draekon Fever. Cax is the leader of Ashara, the hidden Draekonian City that has been on the prison planet for years and was just rumors until Dariux convinced Sophia to go looking for it. Cax and his people have been watching the humans and Draekon’s Exiled to the planet for a long time, but the senate has forbid them to make contact in order to safeguard their secrecy.

There is some law that says if they are at war, the senate must step down and so Cax is now in charge. Hurux is the commander of the Zoraht military forces and is loyal to the Empire. Though he doesn’t always agree with what they are doing and is frustrated by the incompetent people under him.

The Story: Bryce’s pet Karvil, Fluffy McCutie doesn’t like being locked up and escapes out of a part of the dome where a weakness allows him to escape. Bryce is sad because it has been a year to the day that her brother passed away, so she needs her pet to keep her sane. So she sneaks out of the mountain and the dome through the same weakness as Fluffy must have and goes in search of her beloved pet.

While out searching for Fluffy, Bryce stumbles into Cax, then Hurux finds them. Cax knows he is a Draekon but Hurux has never failed the test and wasn’t exiled to the prison planet, he is there to find the Scientist Raiht’vi (who is engaged to the high emporer Lennox) and to bring the human women back to Earth so the emperor can keep his word, despite the fact that none of the women want to go. However, when both men see Bryce they change into dragons, which is the sign that they have met their fated mate.

Like the previous books, this one was narrated by Misty Dawn, Ry Forest and Jasper Woodcock. They did a great job and I like their voices. Though I really hated Ry Forest when he did the voice of Hurux. He did the same thing in the last book and it got on my nerves a bit, it really did during this book. It was like he was trying to do a deeper voice and it just sounded overly fake and kind of like an old man.

This was a great addition to the series. Plenty of intrigue and action in this one. But don’t worry - you still get your laughs and wit plus a big dose of alien MFM action 🔥

The whole Prison Planet saga with our human women and Draekon exiles has been really interesting, and one I've enjoyed following. I'm hoping that this isn't the last book in the series, now that the last human woman has been mated off, because I would so miss everyone. I really want to see more.

Bryce is the last unmated woman. She's met every Draekon she could, but none of them have changed. She's happy for all her friends, but she's still lonely and just a wee bit jealous. With the Zorhan currently laying siege to their mountain fortress, everyone is locked in, but her little pet manages to escape, so she decides that she will go find her pet again.

Cax is the head of the hidden city. He's been watching the humans and their party and Bryce has been his special obsession. He watches her all the time. When he notices that she's left safety, he knows that he has to save her before the bad guys get to her.

Hurux is the head of the expedition there to get Ra'hatvi and take the human women back. He's a loyal soldier and will do whatever he's supposed to do. But when he meets Bryce and Cax and turns into a dragon, he's appalled that he's turned into one of the mindless Draekon.

I loved this trio. I think that Cax, Bryce, and Hurux are going to be a force to be reckoned with. I mean, seriously, don't mess with them. They've probably already thought their way out of whatever you are trying to do to them, well before you even though about trying to do it. They are all devious and tricksy, and I love that. They are going to be so good together.

this series just keeps getting better and better. fantastic read. emotional plots twists, intrigue, suspence, hard to put the book down until the very end. the authors did a fantastic job keeping the story line together and moving forward, describing the characters and giving them real life scenarios they have to cope with. highly recommended if u love aliens, hot sex, menage, true love, happiness, and emotional roller coasters with happy endings.

Twists, plots, intrigue, Draekons, action ... and did I mention Draekons! Should read prev stories 1st!

Contains subject matter that may be offensive to some, including: adult language throughout, steamy adult intimate scenes (MFM) and violence (fighting, capture, threatening, etc.) in a paranormal / alien romance.

This is number 6 in the alien Prison Planet series. While this could standalone, especially if the glossary included at the back of the story if read first, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND that this series be read in order. Otherwise there will be situations and background that may not be fully explained.

This is one of my guilty pleasures. I just love this relatively quick reads and the authors continue to deliver this series. I know it is bad, but I really hope that they keep this one alive for a long, long time.

I rated this 5 stars despite some grammatical errors, based upon the strength of the characters and universe created over the course of the series. Throughout I have learned some of the background about Bryce and it was like getting to watch a friend get their HEA.

Here is a high level overview of how the story begins (no spoilers unless you haven't read the series):

Bryce left Earth to escape a personal tragedy. Today marks a year (or so) since he passed and she needs the comfort of her Karvil, Fluffy, that escaped through the dome that is protecting the Draekons, their families, and the rest of the group from the Zorahns that was sent by the High Empire. Bryce was able to find a weak spot that Fluffy used to escape, so despite the risk she is going to go after her.

Cax is the administrator of Ashara, aka the Lost City, and he has been monitoring the exile group, but especially Bryce. She fascinates him like no other and he has to make sure that she remains safe. He placed the dome over their current home to keep the Zorahns out. They want to capture Raiht'vi and bring her back to her betrothed, Lenox, the ruler of the High Empire. They also want to take the human females back to Earth since Lenox promised their safe journey and return. Cax then notices that Bryce is outside the dome and goes after her to make sure she remains safe.

Hurux is the leader of the soldiers, more like criminals, that have landed on the prison planet to capture Raiht'vi and the females. He is a loyal Zorahn soldier to the High Empire and plans on having the idiots court-marshalled when they arrive back home. They seem to be more concerned with capturing the females for the bounty on their heads than to doing their duty. That is why he is having to double check everything. He checks the positions of the females and notices that one has left the dome they have been trying to get past. Hurux doesn't trust any of his people do to this, so he sets out to capture her himself.

Bryce continues to look for her pet. She was sure that Fluffy would be in one of her favorite fields munching on blue grass, but it is a good thing that she came prepared. Bryce sets up the tent, fire pit, etc. and hopes to catch some fish for dinner. She has set up here numerous times, so she isn't worried about some of the nighttime predators. Bryce makes her way to the water and sees a Zorahn / Draekon standing by it. Cax and her begin to talk about her not being safe outside the dome, when another male enters the area (Hurux) and sees Bryce as well. Then suddenly both of them begin to turn into dragons.

It seems that she has met her mates after all of this time, even if she had almost given up ... then she finds out that the two of them are enemies. One states that if needed he will force Raiht'vi back to Lenox if needed and the other is determined to force the human females back to Earth, even if none of them wants to go and be separated from their mates and children!

I am going to stop there so I don't accidentally provide any spoilers.

Draekon Rogue is the seventh book in the Draekons in Exile series and these books just keep on giving! In this amazing, SciFi series, each book tells its own story and can be read, as a stand alone but it is more enjoyable if, you read the series in order since characters from earlier books are mentioned. Lee Savino and LiLi Zander are very talented and continue to dazzle us with these stories. Each story is well told, filled with caring, suspense, mystery, HOT sexy scenes, romance and fast paced.
This story is about Bryce, the last female on the prison planet who hasn’t found her mates. She leaves the Fortress, to search for her pet and comes face to face with a Draekon, Cax - leader of the hidden city of Ashara, and then a Zoraken, Hurux - leader of the Empire's Navy, whose mission is to find the women from Earth and return them. Cax and Hurux unexpectedly and immediately shift into their dragon forms. This happens when these Alien males meet their mate. Uh, oh - they are sworn enemies. Now, how can this work? Cax and Hurus are HOT, hunky and sexy but is this enough? Can these three have anything in common? The males know Bryce is in trouble and they want to protect her. As Bryce watches them, her heart pounds and electricity flies. But this just wouldn’t work……no path is assured and this story attests to that statement with all the intrigue, unexpected turns, secrets are revealed and lots of fun and excitement.
The characters have depth, we care and worry about them. The story is rich in content and story line. Lee Savino and Lili Zander have brought in Tarish, leader of the rebellion, Cax, Bryce and Hurux are amazing so we have the beginning tease of the next book. LOL. Thanks, I can’t wait for Book Eight!

*I kindly received a copy from the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.*

I’m not entirely sure how I happened upon this book, especially with it being the seventh book in the series. This is already an author I follow, but I had assumed I had picked this up via Booksprout, but I have no more due books there! So, I must have just decided to read it sooner for some other reason.

Well, whatever the reason for picking this book up, it was certainly worth it! Excitement and fun to be had in abounds, much hotness from naked males, much hotness from threesomes, quite enticing explicit detail, and a good storyline to boot!

The only complaint that I might have is that, whilst it’s written that this is a standalone, some details of the universe it’s written in may have helped me somewhat. There are foods and animals that you have to get the gist of as you read past them, instead of a fuller understanding that you would have gotten had it been written earlier on in the series.

But, quibbles aside, it was still a fun read and one that I quite enjoyed. Phew, hose me down!!

Final rating: ★★★★☆ – Really liked

I enjoyed the first part of this series, it was different from my normal reads...but these stories are redundant. I finished the series because it was on my to do list. Lol. It’s not a bad story, just really drawn out. I’m not sure why this needed to be a 7 book series. It probably would have gone over better as 1 or 2 books.

Something's gotta give...

Draekon Rogue is THE pivotal episode in the ongoing story of life on the Prison Planet. All the other Earth women have found their draaekon mates (yes, plural: two draekon men mate with one woman in a stable M/F/M triad). All but Bryce. Now with the Empire's Zoraken on planet to capture the humans, she's in hiding. Her pet runs off, she's crazy enough to go after it, and OOPS! She meets Cax, draekon warrior in command of the legendary free city, and when Hurux, Zoraken commander, catches them both, BLAM! Cax and Hurux transform into dragons in Bryce's presence - They're her mates!! Two mortal enemies are now bound together, and bound to a human mate - for life. Biology rules, and they have to get along, period. Not easy, and working out the kinks occupies much of the novel's romance story. The really exciting part of this book deals with all the ramifications of this mating of opponents, and they are far-reaching and life changing. Politically, this is the end - the end of a long history of lies and power-grabbing machinations by the Empire, and the end of the "prison" planet. I don't do spoilers, so just believe me when I say that the romance is sexy/yummy, but the aftermath is EPIC! I thank Booksprout for the ARC, and this review is voluntary, independent, uncompensated, and OVER-THE-MOON ENTHUSIASTIC. You gotta read this!!

3.5 stars.
I've liked this series, they do start to blend together but I appreciate the stories are all a little different.
The incredibly US focused "earth" started to grate on my nerves. They keep talking about how they knew all the Earth customs and Earth foods but they likely should have just called them American customs and foods. There is no mention of the fact that there's any other cultures or customs on the entire planet...

The heroines can be TSTL sometimes but I found that got better later in the series, and the added continued storyline and history kept my attention through the series. I enjoyed this one and the spin off.

Dragons in Exile, Book 7. Will Bryce be the ultimate sacrifice in this never ending war?

SPOILER ALERT. THIS SERIES SHOULD DEFINITELY BE READ IN ORDER SO AS NOT TO MISS ANY IMPORANT CHARACTERS OR BACKSTORY. IF YOU HAVEN’T READ THE PREVIOUS BOOKS, THIS REVIEW MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS.

Fluffy McCutie’s escaped! Oh, Bryce knows exactly how the little karvil got through the impenetrable shield surrounding the fortress. But Fluffy’s NOT prepared for what awaits outside. Is Bryce? As Bryce rashly scurries to find Fluffy, she knows she’s being tracked. But no one can catch her! After all, she knows the Lowlands better than anyone. Wait! Who’s on the other side of that river? A Draekon? But she knows ALL the Draekons, doesn’t she? Apparently not! Moments later, a Zoraken appears at her back. As Bryce listens to Cax and Hurux bicker, her heart thrills and breaks simultaneously. The one thing missing from her life explodes into being in front of her. But how? This is impossible! Cax and Hurux are just as astounded. But this can never be! With everything in her, Bryce wishes she’d never gone looking for her pet. Four of her friends have literally disappeared into the ether. As Cax and Hurux realize just what’s at stake, can common ground be found? The better question is can Bryce accept either of them? Bryce’s life, the entire future of the planet, are on the line. What Bryce so desperately wants is just outside her reach. When Cax, then Hurux, realize exactly what’s happened, all hell breaks loose. Can Bryce trust either Cax or Hurux? Are there any answers to the unending questions? In the end, it comes down to this. Are long-held secrets worth the price everyone will pay? Is there any chance Bryce, Cax, and Hurux can ever trust each other? Or is the prison planet, Draekon, human, and Zorahn alike, doomed forever?

I adore this series. What’s not to love about dragon shifters, humans stranded on an alien prison planet, and a maze of intrigue? But this is far from a simple sci-fi or shifter story. What fascinates me about this series is the ingenuity and imagination of Lee Savino and Lili Zander. Each new book brings more hidden agendas and new characters. The mysteries and intrigues introduced in each book take the reader on a completely unexpected journey. I adore Bryce. In some ways, she’s so strong and independent. She shows no weakness. But, deep inside, she’s very broken. She feels loss deeply. And it’s that brokenness that’s the source of her outward strength. There’s so much she wants. But she’ll never take what she wants at the expense of others. Ms. Savino and Ms. Zander have created a character that’s simultaneously vulnerable and strong beyond belief based on that vulnerability. That’s extraordinary! Cax and Hurux are inimitable. One is a Draekon who appears out of nowhere. The other is Cax and Bryce’s sworn enemy. Cax and Hurux are hot, hunky, and sexy. But is that enough? Could these three have anything in common? The way these three individuals’ stories are told and intertwined captivates from the first page and is yet another aspect of Ms. Savino and Ms. Zander’s incredible writing talent. I couldn’t put this book down! When you add the everchanging cast of characters, shifting allegiances, and total uncertainty, it’s mesmerizing. I can’t wait for the next book. Congratulations, Ms. Savino and Ms. Zander! You’ve done it again!

A final note. This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, this may not be the book for you. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and Amazon. Please use these resources. I urge you to leave a review, but with a proviso. Please don’t leave a negative review when you know you won’t enjoy the book. It's not fair to the authors. They work hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you'll object to a book's subject matter before you buy it, you're doing yourself and the authors an extreme disservice.

Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!

THIS ISN’T A FAIRY TALE ROMANCE—THIS IS A DISASTER

The saga continues in the Dragons in Exile series. Of the nine human females that survived the crash six months prior, Bryce MacFarland has watched her friends find their two mates and yet nothing has happened for her. She is having an emotional day, it is the anniversary of the death of her brother, Liam, and she will sneak away from the protected camp.

When two Draekon males see their bondmate, they will shift to dragons, but until they claim her jointly, they won’t shift again — what a surprise when Cax, Commander of Ashara, and Hurax, a Zorahn soldier see Bryce and both shift to dragons.

“Cax is big and beautiful, his scales silvery in the twilight. The stranger is a gorgeous shimmery copper-green. They’re my mates? But that can’t be. It doesn’t make any sense. The soldier isn’t even Draekon. He’s Zorahn. He’s one of the exilers, not one of the exiles. Yes, he’s definitely a dragon. My mates.”

If the shift wasn’t enough of a shock to Bryce, having witnessed it on numerous occasions with her friends, it is unsettling for Hurax. Cax has been watching out and following Bryce but never realized until it happened that she was his mate.

“They’re your mates. They transformed into dragons when they saw you. Is that a pro or a con?”

The story will have mystery, suspense, danger, angst, battles, enemies, murder, and control. The entire threat imposed upon Draekon’s and them testing positive for the mutated gene will start unraveling. There are those who are guilty of treason, and with this discovery, the danger will be higher than before.

What will happen with Bryce, Cax, and Hurax? Will they be able to accept their fate as bondmates and chose to consummate their union? Until they do, Cax and Hurax won’t be able to shift again. Hurax will have more secrets revealed, and it will help open his eyes to what he had always believed as the truth, even in his lifetime of service. What will become of Raiht’vi? The High Emperor wants her to return to the Homeworld, and she doesn’t want to go. She is a pawn in a game that she has no control—but maybe there is a way to change that outcome.

Will having Bryce in Cax and Hurax life change the way they view things? About Raiht’vi? About the humans and what is best for them? Now that they are mated, they understand more. For years Cax has monitored the exiles and humans, he always appreciated Bryce, but she is more than just someone to admire, she is smart, witty, and has a good head on her shoulder. She will help him, and Hurax both be honest with themselves and ask the hard questions.

“We monitor the exiles,” Cax says. “I used to watch you. Wander all over the Lowlands, brave and fearless. I couldn’t take my eyes off you. We only monitor the common areas. You fascinated me. Even before I met you, you filled my thoughts. And now, you’re here, and it feels like a dream I don’t want to wake from.”

While this story could read as a stand-alone, it will read better in written order. There are explicit sex scenes into ménage.

THIS BOOK WAS RECEIVED FROM THE AUTHOR FREE OF CHARGE - TO READ AND REVIEW
As this wonderful series continues the survival of the nine females and their continued life and living with the Draekon Males that have cared for them since they first came into contact after their ship had crash landing on the prison planet.
Bryce is more than aware of the happiness her friends have found with their Draekon mates, their mates and yet she still remained lonely and un-attached and she is struggling with the anniversary of her much-loved brother Liam, so she decides to treat herself to some privacy and solitude leaving herself unprotected by leaving the camp boundaries.
During her moments of solitude two Draekon males shift into dragons on seeing her, she is their bondmate and until they are able to claim her together, they will not be able to shift into their dragon form again. Cax the Commander of Ashara and Hurax a Zorahn soldier are a sight she could never imagine as their dragons recognised their mate and in shifting showed their instant recognition.
The matingbond is totally unexpected because Hurax is a Zorahn, he is one of the exilers, not one of the exiles and that he actually changed into a dragon in recognition of his mate has come as a total surprise and raises a number of questions.
The story is filled with a large amount of emotions suspense, danger, anger and murder which has put all of the Draekons on alert it also appears that the previous mutilated gene responsible for Draekons and also the positive tests could show those responsible for treason might well have extended to the highest positions in their society prior to those being permanently exiled.

Will Caz and Hurax be able to put aside their differences and mate their woman Bryce or are their differences too great,, will Bryce be left without her mates to wonder in solitude without any male to love and care for her and a love that will see her through difficult days such as Liam’s death, a shoulder to cry on and an ear only too ready to listen and then to advise.

Cax and Hurax might have a change of opinion should the three actually decide to mate, Raiht’vi still has her opinions on humans and how they are better controlled, brought into their mating with Bryce the men have come to really appreciate their mates wit, intelligence and they have fallen in love with her, she acts as a moderator between the two men, keeping the grounded and pulling together a much needed acceptance of those things they cannot change.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

I received this book as a gift to read in advance and I would like to give an honest opinion of what I read.

If you have not had a chance to read any of the other books of the Exiled Prison Planet that is great because it will give you more information about the other tirade couples. If you have not read any of then this books will wet you lips to know about the others that they are bringing into the city. Lee writes the best books they are so well rounded. They are not just about sex but about two some times more species. It is about a group of people trying to live a life a peace and to be able to grow intellectually.

Bryce is the only one from her group that has not found a mate. Sometimes it bothers her but on this day her thoughts go out to her pet Fuffy MacCuttie who has three tails and since they have been confined in their dome from the attack from the soldiers of Zoraken shefear know Fluffy has gone out to look for some grass to eat. She sneaks out through a weak link in the shield taking a pack with her to go looking for her. Cax is the commander of of the city of Ashara witch was created hundreds of years ago. He has been watch Bryce for a long while. He finds he sexy, fearless, and smart. Commander Hurux is the commander of the Zoraken army when he notices on of the females of the planet out and about he decides to locate her on his own. He is not sure about the men that were placed in his command they seem to be more like criminals than soldiers, they are not compliant in following orders. So he takes out to find the human. Once he and Cax step out of the clearing on opposite sides the suddenly shift. Cax being a Draekon since birth could always shift but Hurux is clearly upset, and Caz seems to be a little annoyed this was not what Bryce thought would happen when she found her mates. Her joy was soon turned to anger and she took off on the skimmer, only to get herself caught in some of the hostile animal life on the planet and getting her wrist broken when she hit a branch and went out of control. The other two finally caught up with her and got out for her mess then Cax took Bryant and Hurux to his montain top cave that was hidden by a water fall. Things do go exactly as planned for Bryce. Her two mates have found problems they have to solve from, murder, a mole in the city, and trying to get The Emperor of Zoraken to leave them alone. I know that this doesn’t sound like much but I can’t give it all away. There is a lot going on in this story and it just can not be described to give it justice. I highly recommend reading this book.

Ok

In my opinion this book suffered because it had to have the series finale confrontation and ending. The characters were superficial. The world had contradictions all over the place, and I've come to expect rather low world consistency from this author. I just kept thinking over and over that things didn't make sense.

*****Spoiler Alert*****
This Book Includes
Violence.
Heroine crashes into wild predator den, character shot & killed, references to heroine's brother's drug addiction & suicide.
Sex. MF sex, MFM sex, anal sex, some orders in bed, some hand pinning, males with pierced nipples & tattoos.

Things That Bothered Me
Hurux. This guy changes allegiances and personalities so fast it's beyond my believability threshold. One instant he's a stalwart soldier blaming the heroine and the next his convictions have changed & he's seducing the heroine. Also, what happened to the idea that a woman's 2 mates would be opposites?

Lost City. It makes no sense that you have a secret city the people come & go from all the time. It's one or the other not both. Also there should be some event to trigger the change in policies 65 years ago - not just attitudes changed. Also I'm still confused. Is this a hidden Draekon community or just a free city that was randomly placed on same planet? If so what happened to the Draekon?

Second In Command. When she visits the heroine she talks about visiting her family, but at the funeral they say she has no family?

The Final Confrontation. I'll give you that you need some reason for the empire to give up on the humans. However, R leaving with the rebellion is half the problem down. The idea that just now 60 years later they're catching on to the fact that it's suspicious about who was exiled just makes everyone look stupid. How can that be a bargaining chip if everyone's known for 60 years. The spies are quick on their feet, so how is it a barraging chip one day and not the next? In the end I didn't really believe Arax acting like a dick. I mean they are in the city now, his child will already grow up with health care & tech. Where are his complaints about the assassination attempts that he had in book1? I didn't feel it made sense to have the spymaster come to the planet at all - even if it was dramatic. Why not negotiate where they can't kill each other? Also the spies aides giving away what they're thinking? They are spies, she wouldn't have brought people who couldn't keep it together. Why are they even negotiating when they have zero leverage?

Other Exiles. What happened to the groups exiled between 60 & 65 years ago? The other guys Viola saw?

Draekon Rogue is the seventh book in the Dragons in Exile series. Bryce is the last unmated female left from Earth, but she’s not too upset about that... mostly. When she’s on a mission to find her lost pet, she runs into two strangers, who immediately transform into their dragons. Knowing they’re meant to be mates, she’s thrilled - until their reactions are less than pleasant. Cax is a leader in the lost city of Ashara while Hurux is a commander trying to tear the humans away from their mates and didn’t even know he had the mutation to transform. Can these three unlikely mates find a common ground, love, and save the exile planet?

Oh my! I loved this book! It was fun, full of secrets, passion, and some answers to questions we might have had from the very beginning of the series! Bryce, Cax, and Hurux are an amazing mating because once they get past those initial hiccups and misunderstandings, they’re able to really help each other, deal with past hurts, deal with loss, and come together to find the best solutions. Bryce was smart, emotional, and so caring. I loved that Cax always had at least three plans going through his head at all times. And Hurux just had one surprise thrown at him after another, but I loved that most of the time he was able to use his analytical mind to overcome the surprises. It was amazing to see what those greedy for power were able to do, and I loved reading how doing the right thing wasn’t always the easiest. While the romance stands alone, I think there’s enough other things going on in the overarching storyline that it’s best to read this book in the series order. I have absolutely loved this series, loved this addition, and look forward to what may come next!

An earth shattering kaboom! - Marvin the Martian

Well, these authors certainly know how to end a book series!!! I definitely have to give credit where it's due! Bryce was the last human without Draekon mates and it didn't look like she'd be getting them at all, but them her pet karvil escapes from the safety of their Dsar Cliffs home and Bryce has no choice but to go and find her fur baby. Hurux is the commander in charge of the Empire Navy mission to retrieve the human women and Raiht'vi for the High Emperor as his betrothed. Cax is the administrator of Ashara, aka the lost city of Draekons, yet when the three meet in the jungle, Cax and Hurux transform into dragons.
Thus us quite a shock to Hurux, because he never suspected he even had the capacity to become a Draekon, and thought he'd be picking his own mate for his own reasons in his own time. Cax had been watching Bryce MacFarland for a while and was fascinated, but had no idea he'd be mated with her. Also, with the presence of the High Empire on the prison planet, and the subsequent attack, the timing couldn't be worse since he's got the Senate breathing down his neck and a human mate would make him look like he's playing favorites.
There's really SO MUCH MORE to this book, that I haven't even touched!! This book is jammed packed with twists and turns you won't see coming!
Also, if you get the chance, check out the boxed set. It has 2 novellas that are fun to read!

Mateless on the Prison Planet!!

Bryce is the only human female who has not found her mates. She’s “fine” with that. Pet Fluffy keeps her busy. When soldiers land on the planet wanting to return the human women to Earth, none want to go.

Hurux is leading the Zorahn soldiers ready to “save” the women. He knows Draekons are dangerous beasts. Is he in for a big surprise. Cax is leader of the hidden city on the prison planet, and while he has watched events outside the city, Bryce has appeared fearless and attracted his attention.

When Bryce is finally confronted by her mates it is not exactly as she envisioned: “Every Draekon so far has been thrilled to find their mate. Every single one of them. The Draekons in camp, the ones that haven’t transformed so far, spend their waking hours hoping to run into the woman that can unlock their full power. Not mine. Nope. One (sic) looks repulsed. The other (sic) looks inconvenienced. This is a nightmare.”

This series has evolved from survival on a desolate, dangerous planet to add political intrigue, scientific tampering, and outright battles while keeping the exquisite triad mate relationship at the forefront. Highly entertaining and a must-read!!

Bryce, the only human female left without mates, goes after her missing pet Karvil. Suddenly, there appears a handsome man and seconds later, a second hunk appears. Just as suddenly as all three set eyes on each other, the pair bond threads all three together and the men become DRAGONS! Bryce has found her mates! There is one big problem, the men, change back from their dragon forms but neither seems very happy with the situation. Cax has important work to do and Hurux had no idea that he was capable of turning into a dragon. The situation is inconvenient for the guys and Bryce is unhappy that her fated mates don't seem all that thrilled to be joined with her. The political climate is on tinderhooks, the state of the nine human women on the planet seems to be in question and the seat of power just might be up for grabs. There is much to be worried about, but Cax, Hurux and Bryce still must figure out how the pair bond with each other could possibly work out. This was another exciting adventure with Bryce and her dragon mates working out their tenuous relationship, while trying to fix the problems of the world and people around them. I loved the story and hope to see more dragons and find out the fate of Raiht'vi.

This book begins with Bryce having a horrid day. It's the anniversary of her brother's death and her pet karvil, Fluffy McCutie, is missing. She didn't have any mates, not that she was bitter, but she just needed the hugs he could provide. While out on her search, she meets two men. Cax, the leader of the fabled lost city of the Draekons and Hurux, the commander in charge of finding the lost women and returning them to Earth. They both immediately transform into their dragons. After returning to their human forms, the men's conversation becomes so convoluted Bryce can't listen anymore and leaves them sitting there deciding there are no guarantees in life. Happily ever after is sometimes reserved only for fairytale princesses and sometimes, someone gets dealt a crappy hand.
What Lee Savino has created in this world, not withstanding the sexual chemistry of a MFM alien romance, is somewhat thought provoking; especially in this book. As more of the plot unfolds and pieces of the puzzle are laid out, there are moral decisions of right and wrong presented that must be decided on. Not only do we get the adrenaline rush from intrigue and romance but we also get the thought provoking question of "what would I do?" Thankfully, a door has been left open for another book.

This is the story of Bryce, one of the human women who crash landed on a Zorahn prison planet. Hurux, leader of the Zorahn's, has been ordered to take the human women back with them to be returned to Earth. Of course all but one of the women now have mates and 2 have a child or is pregnant. Bryce doesn't have a mate, but she has caught the eye of the head of the Draekon lost city, Cax. She likes to explore, and after her pet escapes, she finds a weak spot in their defenses and goes after Fluffy...Hurux notices Bryce is out of caves and goes after her, as does Cax...both become dragons when they interact with Bryce. As a Zorahn, Hurux shouldn't become a dragon, but his mother, a renowned scientist, has been giving him a blocker his entire life since his father taken away as having Draekon gene. Since both are her mates, Hurux and Cax have to stop fighting each other to concentrate on their female, Bryce, who left...of course this less than impressive meeting with her "mates" makes Bryce believe the safety of the caves is a better place to be...but you will have to read this page-turner to see what happens I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Bryce has watched all those around her pair off. Since crash landing on the Prison Planet the human women have found mates. Bryce, not so much but she does have Fluffy McCutie and he has run off. Now she has to find him even if it means going outside the force field. Cax has been watching Bryce, well all the humans but mostly Bryce. He finds her interesting. Commander Hurux is here to take all the human women back to Earth. He has heard about them wanting to stay and being mated to Draekon’s but still he has his orders. Things don’t always turn out the way we think.

I was happy to see that Bryce FINALLY found her mates. Mind you it is the most unlikely pair. One wants to take her back to Earth and the other is from the Prison Planet. But the tug of war starts off with them making her feel invisible. Thank goodness they finally realize who stupid they are being. We also have imminent danger from Ru’vi and Lenox. And boy do we find out a great deal about the draekon gene and how all this began. There is also a loss too. I was so surprised. I didn’t expect it. Please tell me this isn’t the end of the series. There has got to be more. I hope so.

Oh. Wow. What an ending to an epic spy thriller. Honestly, even without the erotica, this series is captivating based on the storyline. It equals any thriller I’ve read by more popular mainstream authors.

This was my favorite book in the series. Bryce, Cax and Hurux are the perfect mates. Neither Cax nor Hurux want a mate. Particularly Hurux, as he didn’t even know he was a draekon until he saw Bryce and Cax and transformed.. So that’s a bitter pill for him to swallow. Cax, while intrigued with Bryce, cannot believe that his pair bond is with a commander of the high empire. So the Joy that Bryce feels at FINALLY finding her mates is smashed in minutes as the men start bickering about the situation. This is not how things progressed for the other women on the prison planet.

Their story unfolds against the backdrop of political intrigue, traitorous activities and emotional loss. This book was such a fulfilling final chapter to an excellent series. It got off to a slow start. I didn’t really care for the first book, but I’m glad I stuck it out. Each book was better than the last. Ihighly recommend this any fan of PNR books.

I definitely am addicted to this series and finally Bryce has her own story. This and past books
have had great characters as their individual stories played out.How can three totally different
individuals form such a perfect union. This story was unique in that the two men who claim Bryce
as their mate come from vastly different backgrounds and have different goals for Bryce.Bryce
is the last of the nine women unmated who crash landed on the Prison Island.Fluffy McCutie
is all Bryce has for company and when she escapes,Bryce follows.Cax is the leader of the lost
city of the Draekons and is obsessed with Bryce.Commander Hurux is in charge of returning
Bryce back to Earth. How will the three of them coexist together when the men have different
agendas. This story has is dark, spicy and complex and full of tantalising scenes that i have come
to expect from the author who is both adept at both plot and character development and this
maintains interest throughout the book.
