Most of us, it seems: · Fail to see the big picture as we insist to ignore who we are. · Refuse to acknowledge what can be proven about our origin. · Hypnotically and pretentiously assume a self-assigned specialness about ourselves and our tribe over everyone. · Pretend a sort of royal connection of some kind; most often with a male god of our invention as alleged creator of all things. · Feign to have discovered the ultimate source of power, authority, and knowledge. · Act like spoiled children, as if there could be no repercussions to our illusory, irresponsible, and viciously brutal behavior. · Absurdly rebel against provable facts; often preferring insane, cruel, destructive, and unquestionable illusions as our basic worldview and belief system. · Mask our intentions and lifestyles to camouflage a variety of missions and objectives of conquest at all costs based on dogmatic beliefs. And on and on it goes in our attempts to cover our fear and dread of the ambiguities of life and what awaits us at the end of that life, which is why: We continue to instinctively kill members of our own species to meet inborn and automatic hardwired programs of violent survival along with an adherence to unquestionable dogmatic beliefs and the cumulative conquests at all costs these demand—and YET we most aberrantly like it. That being the case and unless we consciously and with much premeditation rewire our attitude, we are most likely geared to perish early as a species because of this. Yet, life can be so much more. So, interesting, so joyous, so rewarding, so pleasant and so safe on the only Cosmic globe (in who knows how many light-years around us) able to supports the sort of delicate biological life form making our precarious existence possible.
