It’s normal to drool over three devastatingly handsome, charismatic, and rich AF men, right?
Well, not when they’re your bosses.
Especially not if you find out they like to share their lovers and you can’t stop fantasizing about being at the center of their attention during boring meetings.
And definitely not when you have a former co-worker who didn't understand the meaning of the word "no" harassing you.
But that’s Kari’s life, and now she needs to decide what to do about follow her heart, or forfeit the chance to discover what it’s like to live out her wildest dreams.
Fourplay is book one of the Ever After duet. Kari, Ford, Brady, and Josh’s story will conclude in Fourkeeps.

The book starts off a new duet, but is a continuation from a previous series. The main characters from this duet must have appeared in a previous series where some type of significant event had taken place with the heroin. Reading this book felt like starting halfway through the story. It's a pet peeve of mine when authors continue a storyline from book to book or series to series and do not mention that it's part of a greater book world. Having a previous character cameo is one thing, but to have something significant happen to these characters and not know exactly what that is puts the reader at a disadvantage.
I do love me some poly-romance love and Jayne Rylon definitely gives some of the best out there, but as much as I enjoyed this one, I felt like I needed just a little bit more out of Kari, Ford, Josh and Brady. This isn’t to say that the chemistry isn’t there, because it is. There is a spark between all of them and I like it, and I like them, I really do...i...just...well...needed more.
I sound like a damn broken record, but it is what it is and as this is the first in a duet I am keeping my toes crossed that I will get what I am looking for in the next book. With that said, I do have to say that I like how the has had their relationship play out thus far. There are a lot of issues that they all have to work through and come to terms with before anything truly solid happens between them.
And as for that ending/cliffy...it was a surprise, but not one...at least not entirely. I knew something like that was bound to happen, but where it went had me like “ooohhhh” so I’m definitely looking forward to getting my hands on the book and seeing how this affects them all.

Ooooh, yay, finally Kari and Ford and Brady and Josh’s story!! We met all four of these characters 4-Ever Theirs and I just knew Kari would welcome the opportunity to be with these amazing men.
But first Kari needed to move past what she went through. I loved how Ford, Josh and Brady gently pursued Kari. That they took their time to see how much she could handle—three men could have been extremely overwhelming for her. But Kari took it all in stride—she wasn’t going to let her past affect her future—not when it was so promising and exactly what she wanted.
I can’t wait to see how things play out as Fourplay ends in a bit of a cliffhanger. And I need to know they’ve achieved their HEA! ~ Missy, 4 stars
I read books one and two together in a bundle through the app Kiss, which is fortunate since book one ends in a cliffhanger.
The author kept telling us how well these characters got along, but aside from their multiple sex scenes, I didn’t really see that. But I am definitely not complaining that there were too many sex scenes because I enjoyed each one. And as I’ve never had sex with three men at the same time, I appreciated the information on how that could happen.
What I really like is how much consent was a part of their relationship, although they need to work better on their communication skills. Everyone is so afraid of ruining the relationship that they don’t speak their truth about how much they want to keep it.
What I didn’t like was that they’d lusted after her for a long time and their relationship only started after she had been drugged and raped at the company Christmas party. Oh and she doesn’t blame them even though they were the bosses (of both her and the attacker) and admit to themselves that she could’ve sued them.
You spend a little time seeing everything from the point of view of one of five characters, although with Josh, Brady, and Ford, it’s sort of interchangeable. There just doesn’t seem to be enough difference between those three. The majority of the book is from Kari’s point of view; and smaller parts come from the man who raped and stalked her.
CW: - sexual harassment at work - threat of losing your job because of a relationship among consenting adults - being drugged - and raped - stalked - revenge porn - getting hit by a car - unknowingly being filmed while having sex
This book Does end with a cliffhanger, so that if that is not your particular cup of tea I suggest waiting for the second half of the story and reading them together. However if you can handle a cliffhanger I invite you to dive into a wonderfully wicked fantasy come true. Long time readers of Ms. Rylan have been introduced to this intriguing quartet. Those of you who are new, sit back and enjoy.
Josh, Ford and Brady share a friendship over a decade old, an amazing place to live and a very successful law firm. The friendship is deeper, stronger and a bit unconventional to some. They are bonded in a way too few people can understand. While their personalities make them very different people, their goals in business and life put these three men on the exact same page.
Kari is an exceptional and loyal woman who has found herself in a delicate spot. Dealing with the aftermath of a douche who doesn’t understand the meaning of the word NO has left Kari looking over her shoulder and jumping at noises left and right. On the other hard Kari has found herself in the somewhat awkward position of not wanting just one of her bosses but all three of them.
I have no clue how Ms.Rylon does it but man, she does it well. Sexy, sensual and very erotic. For some ballbusting lawyers the tenderness, compassion and caring they show Kari is undiscrible. Ford’s dominance, Josh’s gentlemanly ways and Brady’s playfulness makes a combination that makes it for a girl to resist. Together well …… you have to read and see.
Fourplay is the beginning of an erotic and sensual adventure that leaves that leaves readers on the edge is more ways than one! Well done, Ms. Rylon!
Fourplay is the first book in a duet and ends on a cliffhanger. Now that I've gotten that out of the way I'll tell you why you want to read this. First off, book two is already written and will release on December 27, 2018. Secondly, if you like erotic, menage romance this one is hot as fire. This is a spin off story from 4-Ever Mine but you don't need to read that book first to enjoy this one; but it is also hot AF so I highly endorse reading it! 😊
Kari is the office manager of a legal firm with three gorgeous men at the helm. Three men who are also best friends and live together (there is no M/M action in this book). They've shared women before but haven't found that perfect someone to complete them and be theirs forever.
After hearing that one of the interns in the office is in a poly relationship, Kari has been intrigued. She's silently lusted after her three bosses but figures she is so far out of their league that there's no way they could ever be interested in her.
I loved everything about this story – how the three men care for Kari and consider her pleasure first. Things were going well when something unexpected happens. Unfortunately, I'll have to wait a few of weeks to find out how it all turns out; but I know it will be worth the wait.
An advanced copy of this book was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author.
"The electricity of their kiss flooded through her, making her crave more of this feeling."
"Whether it was because it was so taboo to be the object of desire of three wickedly sexy men or because she cared so much for each of them, she wasn’t sure. But she wasn’t about to stop to think about it then."
But.....but, , it was getting all good and stuff!!!! Warning, there is a cliffhanger, I repeat, a cliffhanger , that just happened, out of nowhere, even though I kinda figured it was coming
Ever have an authour who can do polyamorous so seamlessly, so perfectly, that it is realistic and easy to believe? Well, this is that authour, and this is a book that proves it! Kari, Ford, Josh, and Brady start out shaky, and for every step forward, it seems there are two or three steps back. The will is there, the feelings are there, and the chemistry is most definitely there, but uncertainty, concern, and doubt cloud things. They are lucky enough to have some help from people who are making it happen, but they still need to figure things out on their own. Throw in the putrid remnants of the smelly bad one who caused chaos and pain already, and this isn't a smooth sail for these four. Good thing they are willing to forge forward and do what they can to make things work.
Another great read with well written story and characters by Jayne Rylon!!! Although I got the ARC book 1 of a duet to read as an ARC, there is a HUGE cliffhanger and I hate those. So, if you're like me, wait until the next book comes out, and then binge read them both, I will definitely reread the first book before the second. I am dying to know what happens with Kari, Ford, Brady and Josh. Was curious about the guys since Andi and her men (well Cooper anyway) began to form a friendship in the first duet-if you haven't read their book start there, but it's not necessary.
A very simple story with just the right amount of information, description and steam. Easy to pick up and put down at will (if needed, I didn't WANT to put it down, but work and family sometimes get in the way).
The best was the help that Andi and her men offered in guidance and friendship into how a relationship such as the one they are choosing can work. Loved seeing Andi and her men again, and knowing that they are doing well together.
A little suspense and a whole lot of steam makes for a great story!
Thank you Jayne for another great book. Really, I can't wait for the second part of the story!
This is the first book in the Ever After Duet, be aware that this one does in a cliffhanger.
Kari works for Ford, Brady and Josh, her very hot bosses when she overhears their interest in a menage relationship. Her fantasies roar to life! But after having a bad experience with a co-worker, she is afraid of taking any steps with them.
The guys want her and are doing all they can to make her comfortable in seeing how they can all make their chemistry work out for them, they guys have been looking for their one to make them complete and Kari is it for them. They just have to overcome certain barriers.
Jayne Rylon paints a great storyline, I loved the characters as they work through issues. Very steamy sexy scenes, especially the one that happened on the boat...you'll have to read it to find out...but we also get to see previous characters, Andi and her men, Reed, Simon and Cooper. I like how Andi was a lot of help and moral support to Kari.
Totally cannot wait until the next installment, you'll remember I said it ends in a cliffhanger and whoa, what a cliffhanger it was.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
This book is about three lawyers, Ford, Josh and Brady who dream of sharing a woman and having a poly relationship. The woman they're interested in is Kari their administrative assistant. The four all really like each other and want to make a relationship work with the help of another foursome couple that they know unfortunately Kari has a past that might jeopardize their future. Can they figure out how to be together before it's too late?
I really really liked this book. It was fun to see Andi and her guys again but I was really fascinated by these new people. Ford, Josh and Brady all have such different personalities and they each care for Kari. She in turn loves each of them her past is holding her back. She's unsure if she wants to jeopardize their friendship. Andi and her guys help them all see that they can have a loving relationship if they are all honest about what they want. The ending is a cliffhanger!!! God that cliffhanger grrr! Where's the next book? Haha can't wait to read the conclusion of their story.
Kari works for three lawyers, Ford, Josh & Brady. She thinks each one of them is gorgeous. In return the guys find her beautiful & are very protective of her. When they find out another lawyer assaulted her at a company party, they fire him. Kari overhears the guys having a conversation about wanting to have a polyamorous relationship. The night of Ford’s 30th birthday party, Kari overhears Andi & her three boyfriends getting it on. She can’t help but take a peek. What she finds is Ford, Josh & Brady watching. Knowing she’s invading their privacy, she turns to leave but trips & falls. The guys hear it & find out Kari was listening. Josh talks with her about what she saw & they end up kissing. It’s the best kiss of both of their lives. Ford, Josh & Brady ask Kari to be in a polyamorous relationship with them. Kari is conflicted. Will she or won’t she? The book ends on a cliffhanger as someone from Kari’s past returns. I liked that each of the guys had very different personalities. I could feel the connection they each had with Kari.

Fourplay is the first book in the Ever After Duet from author Jayne Rylon. This book tells the story of Kari and her three bosses, Ford, Brady, and Josh. Kari’s bosses have shared women in the past, but they are looking for that one woman to make them feel complete.
Fourplay mentions Andi, Reed, Cooper, and Simon from the author’s 4-Ever series, and they play a small part in the book. Ford, Brady, and Josh hope to find someone like Reed, Cooper, and Simon found Andi. So you are aware, It is not essential to read the 4-ever series before beginning Fourplay, but I do believe it would give you a good foundation. Just know it’s not mandatory.
Like all of Ms. Rylon’s book, Fourplay a has a great storyline which had me hooked from the very first page! It also was really steamy, and I read it in one sitting!
This book can stand alone, however I think it definitely reads better if you've read the 4Ever books. It picks up right where the last one left off and features that quartet frequently. In fact they're a sort of role model for this new quartet. It makes for great friendship and some decadent fun.
I love each of the guys and how in tune they are with each other while still being very much their own people. I appreciate the authenticity in Kari's journey. The chemistry between the lovers is great and left me wanting more.
My only actual complaint about the book is that it ends with a cliff hanger! Not cool when I have to wait for part 2! I am anxiously awaiting my happily ever after for these folks as they greatly deserve it after everything they've been through and how hard they've worked.
Fourplay is a dose of wicked fun and deep connection all in one. It was a delicious and heartfelt read and I can't wait for more!
We were first introduced to Ford, Josh, Brady, and Kari in 4-Ever Mine. (I’ve been waiting to read about Cooper’s bosses!) This is the first book in a duet. Fourkeeps will be coming out at the end of December. Jayne Rylon is one of my favorite authors, and this story kept me engrossed and entertained.
There are some heavy moments, and I really like how caring, protective, and loving Ford, Josh and Brady are with Kari. I also like that she is strong and fearless at heart.
I enjoyed visiting with the four characters from 4-Ever Theirs and 4-Ever Mine. There were some unexpected scenes with all 8 characters.
Ford, Josh, Brady, and Kari are extremely likable. There is love, laughter, happiness, hot sex, angst, pain, and a villain. This book does leave a few loose ends, a cliffhanger, and a desire for more of these 4. I have every confidence that we will eventually have a HEA! I’m really looking forward to reading the second half of this story in Fourkeeps!!
I really enjoyed the first book in the Ever After duet, so I am rating it 5 stars. The book brings back characters I’d met in a previous book, and so glad I got to read Kari’s story. What I like the most is that this is the story of a woman who is trying to live a ‘normal’ life after being assaulted, the plot is realistic as there is a combination of reactions and emotions, from feeling attraction then doubt, to acting on the attraction and inevitable regret. The way that Ms. Rylon tackles this is sympathetic and realistic. Trust is not easy but Ford, Brady, and Josh work hard to earn it. As this is the first book in a duet, which I have read an advanced copy for review, I can’t kick off about the ending, but I have been reliably informed that I don’t have long to wait for book two, Fourkeeps.
In this newest addition to the library of Jayne Rylon we meet Kari and her three handsome bosses Ford, Brady and Josh.
After overhearing a snippet of conversation her bosses have with a colleague, she's intrigued by their shared interest in a polyamorous relationship. She indulges in imagining herself with any and all of her 'men' in various intimate situations.
So when the opportunity to explore this possibility presents itself, she jumps at the chance and quickly discovers that they are as different in the bedroom as they are in the court room.
As one would expect in a duet novel, this ends with a cliffhanger akin to the end of a series of Dynasty. Just like then, we'll wait with baited breath for the new series (book)!
A hot, quick read that is clearly part of a duet with no expectation of an HEA!
Kari, Ford, Brady and Josh have been working together for a while. Kari is their office manager and does her job with military precision. She keeps their law office and them in line. They have a secret from her and everyone else that comes out while hearing about the lifestyle of one of their interns. The men like to share one woman. Kari is intrigued by the idea and can think of nothing else. She is hesitant because of what happened to her by a fellow employee at the Christmas party last year. The men are very protective of her because of that but also because they want her to be their one. I loved how protective they all are of her. Each one is totally different from the rest but make a perfect combination. And i loved Kari's strength in her convictions. She thinks things through before acting on them. It drives the men crazy but is so worth it in the end.

Fourplay is book 1 in a new duet and it features 3 very hot alpha males and the woman they want to make theirs. We first met them briefly at the end of the 4-Ever series and I could not wait to hear more from them. This book certainly didn’t disappoint. Kari was assaulted by a coworker and her 3 bosses carry varying degrees of guilt that they didn’t prevent it but at the same time they are trying to deal with their attraction to Kari. Enter Andi and her 3 guys, she and Kari bond and she offers Kari (and the guys) some advice from her personal experiences that help them all to realize this could be the best thing to happen to them and to not let it go. This book does end with a cliffhanger so be prepared but it is well worth it and I cannot wait for the next book to see how it all works out for Kari & her guys.
This book ends in a cliffhanger, but so worth it. Ford, Josh and Brady are the best of friends, and share a law practice, their home, and their women. They are very different from each other, but they just blend together perfectly. Now, they are hoping to find the woman that would fit with all three of them, and build a relationship with her. Enter in, Kari, their assistant. She has went through something recently, that she is still recovering from, but all three of them are very attracted to her. From there, it is the most wonderful story. Their relationship is steamy hot, but it is also so caring, and full of love. It is very well written, and pulls you into the story, so that you don't want to stop reading. I loved this book, znd am waiting very impatiently for the next book. I highly recommend it.
This is book one of the Ever After duet. It does end with a cliffhanger, so if that isn't your thing, you might want to start after book two is published.
Ford, Josh and Brady are lawyers and partners in business together. Kari is their very efficient personal assistant. They recently found out one of their employees is involved in a 3 men, 1 woman foursome. Kari overhears them talking with him about how much they desire to find something similar and a woman who can love them all. She starts thinking about how appealing that is to her, in spite of having a rough history in a recent break up.
Their start is rocky at best and becomes more complicated in many ways rather than less as they get further involved. It does have a couple sexy scenes and does leave you wanting book two to find out what happens next.
I’ve been wanting to read about Cooper’s bosses and so glad they finally have their own story beginning with Fourplay. I really like the dynamics between all of them especially how protective and caring Ford, Josh and Brady are with Kari after what she went through. I also like that she is the spitfire that runs their office and keep them on their toes. I am enjoying the slow build and sexual tension with Kari and the guys. It’s nice to see the friendship develop between Kari and Andi whom she can get advice from. Jayne Rylon is a must-read author for me and this story was a page turner because I was anxious to see how their relationship developed. I’m really looking forward to reading the second half of their story in Fourkeeps.
If you have read Jayne Rylon’s stories before then you know one thing she writes, and writes WELL, is ménage. Well this new Duet is a stand alone that is a branch off from her 4-Ever series that is already out. In this book, we get to know three sexy lawyers, Ford, Brady and Josh and the woman they all desire, Kari. When the time comes and they want to change their relationship from professional to personal it takes a whole lot of communication and a fair amount of work. Just as things start to move in the right direction evil strikes and we are left wondering how this foursome will get the happily ever after they deserve! Don’t worry, you won’t have to wait long for the second part of this duet, but you will be on the edge of your seat waiting!
Jayne Rylon is the Queen of Poly Romances in my very humble opinion and each time she has a new story out I get a giddy excitement. I know I am not only in for a lot of steam and excitement, but a story with compelling characters and a lot of heart. In Fourplay, Kari is dealing with the temptation of her sexy bosses (who like to share!), but is still dealing with the fallout from a former co-worker who just couldn't take no for answer. Ford, Brady and Josh were all sexy tall drinks of water, that were hard to ignore. I completely understood why Kari was so fascinated and drawn to them. This had the perfect amount of steam and action. I am desperate to see what will happen for these four in part two of the duo.
I waited to read this book until I recieved the second book of this duet, and I am glad I did. Loved this story. Kari love the lawfirm she worked for and her three bosses, Josh, Brady and Ford were the best bosses and so drool worthy. She basically ran the office and her feelings for her bosses ran deep. Little did she know they all had feeling for her and they liked it that wat. The three of them all wanted to share her. The complications of such a relationship and the fact they are her bosses adds to her self doubt. After she is assaulted by an ex employee and he becomes her stalker, her men ban together to try and protect her. There is never a dull moment in the book, it is fast paced and exciting and the sexy scenes are amazing.
Another excellent book by Jayne. They keep getting hotter and hotter!! Ford, Josh, Brady and Kari will heat up your e-reader. They have a 5 year friendship and trust is already built so it was a little easier to transform into a relationship. Kari has gone through a traumatic experience and the guys are tripping over themselves to make sure they are everything she needs. Some of which are hilarious.
Andi and her men are also part of the story. If you haven't read their books...go read them NOW!! My only issue is: I have to wait a little while for the conclusion on their story. Jayne left us right on the edge..... how does it end???
Fourplay is a steamy, hot romance that stars three alpha men wanting to start a poly relationship with their administrative assistant Kari. Ford, Brady and Josh want Kari as their own. They inquire information from Cooper, Simon, Reed and Andi, who are more than happy to share. Ford, Brady and Josh know they have to tread lightly with Kari after her attack from Marty, but they know she's worth the effort. I loved seeing the guy's softer side with Kari. They are wonderful together together and can't wait to start their new relationship. Just when things are working out, Marty strikes again. Fourplay definitely leaves you wanting more and i can't wait until the next book is released.
I always break out in a "happy dance" when I get a new book from Ms. Rylon because I know I'm in for a treat. After being introduced to Ford, Josh and Brady in "4-Ever Mine", I was excited to read Kari and their story. I was hooked from the start and just when it really got going...BAM cliffhanger! I knew this was part 1 of a duet so I knew it was coming but it still left me wanting more now not later. Needless to say my "happy dance" turned into "pouting and stomping". Oh well..guess I will have to reread this one when I get my hands on part 2....such a hardship(lol).
*I received an Advance Reader's Copy of this book which I am voluntarily reviewing*
Fourplay is the sexy start to Kari, Ford, Josh, and Brady's story. She's the person that keeps their law office running smoothly and efficiently but she's also the woman they desire to make theirs. This book is about them getting to know each other outside of the office, taking the first steps to a relationship they all have only fantasized about. The writing is great. The characters are very likable and have a lot of chemistry. I love how the guys always put her happiness and well-being first. The book ends on a cliffhanger and I can't wait for the conclusion to this story.
I am voluntarily reviewing an advance reader copy of this book.
I was so excited to finally get to read Kari’s story! Ford, Brady, and Josh are her bosses and she doesn’t quite realize how much they need her in and out of work. Kari has been through some tough times at the hands of a skeezy man, and they are willing to whatever it takes to protect her and keep her from getting hurt again. But when her true feelings and desires about her bosses come out, will they all be able to resist and hold back their feelings?
I really enjoyed this story! It was really well written, touched on some really touchy subjects without being overdone and awkward for readers. Cannot WAIT for the next book and for the story to see its conclusion.
