But when what you want is a gorgeous woman to share a lifetime—and a really big bed—with you and your three best friends, it can be a tough sell. Ford, Brady, and Josh are determined that nothing will keep them apart. Not Kari’s past or the psychopath who keeps threatening their future. One night with her was amazing, but it could never be enough. This time, they’re playing for keeps. Fourkeeps  is the conclusion of the Ever After Duet, and should be read following  Fourplay.

Pardon my swooning over the perfect HEA for Ford, Brady, Josh and Kari. Fourkeeps picked up right where Fourplay ended and kept me entranced until the very last word.

The romance between these four was smart, sexy, fun and swoony. I loved how each man cared for and treated Kari and how Kari cared for and treated her men. Their love was not easy, and I truly enjoyed how honest it felt.

I could swoon and gush for many more paragraphs, but I won’t because you need to experience this Ever After Duet on your own. ~ Missy, 4 stars

Ahhhhh...there it is!

That “thing” I needed more of in the first book! (And no it wasn’t more smexy times with them all ~ though that did happen as well *wink*) It was seeing them connect and finally do something about the attraction/chemistry/connection they have going on between them. *does an internal happy dance*

So, this one starts off right where Fourplay ended and things go from 0 to 100 in no time flat in every way possible. We finally get Kari, Ford, Josh and Brady together, working through their wants, desires and hang ups and I loved seeing them deal with the good, bad and ugly that comes with being in a poly relationship. They all had their moments where I wanted to reach out and smack some sense into them, but I really like where they were at in the in end.

As for the issues going on with Kari, things definitely got heavier and crazier, and there were some moments that had me going “Whoa!” but they were situations that could/can happen IRL and I have to give props to the author with how she presented it all and had Kari, and the guys, work through it all.

This one was definitely a wild ride, but an enjoyable one. The multiple POV’s were done well and I really enjoyed the extra one that was added into the mix as it gave me a better understanding of all that was going one. And, as with the first book in the duet, Andi definitely stole the show and I loved seeing all of them get their HEA’s.

Jayne Rylon’s ‘Fourkeeps’ is as explosive and captivating as the first part of this Ever After Duet, picking up right where ‘Fourplay’ left off. To get the real depth of character and emotion, it helps to have already ingratiated yourself into their amazing world; I myself reread the first part of this book duet just yesterday in preparation for this release today!
Kari, Josh, Brady, and Ford have a lot on their plate, and it isn’t just their appetite for one another. Their life is a rollercoaster full of titillating ups and downs, each high taking their relationship to new levels, each low giving them a run for their money as feelings just continue to run deeper and deeper, even as they struggle to do what is right for themselves, for one another, for everyone. With danger lurking around every corner, will Kari ever feel safe? Will Josh, Brady, and Ford get their man, and win their forever woman, checking that last box on their list?
Following on from mere hours after the first book in this duet left off, I was immediately swept up into the continuation of the story that wove four characters that I adore together. Ford’s hard edge, Brady’s gentlemanly straight laced manner, Josh’s youthful exuberance; it all ties together to create the perfect foil to Kari’s sweet yet dirty nature. She’s someone I would want to be friends with, her men people I wish I could meet. The writing is on point, showcasing great skill in developing their feelings, and yours for them. With each page, with each twist and turn, my heart leapt, felt, ached, rejoiced.
Once again, Jayne Rylon has captivated me with her stellar writing, her portrayal of the purest form of love, laced with just a little bit of the hard and naughty stuff to keep you going! You don’t want to miss out this riveting conclusion to their story; I promise you won’t regret it!

Kari, Ford, Brady, and Josh certainly found their sexiness in this book, now the emotional side, that took at bit more! But then again, having 4 people in a relationship definitely makes the odds of misunderstandings and emotional outbursts exponentially higher

"He was so gentle. So kind and forgiving. It was everything she needed right then" perfectly defines Brady and his connection with Kari. He sees her, gets her, and understands her even when she doesn't realize, or can't express things herself. Ford takes charge and shows a possessiveness she could easily get used to, and fully appreciates. Josh gives her sweet, a playmate, and softness when needed.

"Not only did they anticipate what she craved, they gave her that and some. Their intrinsic awareness turned her on more than their expert physical prowess"

The connection these four have, in and out of the bedroom, is strong. Kari can't believe she found all that she needed, and never knew it could be. It is more than bedroom compatibility and heat, but figuring out the emotional side of things seems to be a little messed up. Everytime they make a bit of progress, pride gets in the way. Everytime they think they know their places, something throws things off again. Luckily, at least one or more is stubborn enough in these instances to push to keep things on track

The bad guy is still out there in this book, and he is a thorn in their sides while they try and figure out their relationship. Icky and gross, he is the slime running under their feet. And just when you think he is gone, up he pops again.

It all comes together in the end, and after what they have been through, they more than deserve their happy ending!

"In Brady's refind touches, in Ford's fierce possessiveness, and in Josh's sweet words. They cared for her. Not only as a playmate, but also as a life partner"

A great conclusion to the duet.

Fourkeeps is the second book in a duet that began with Fourplay. You do need to read Fourplay first before reading Fourkeeps. Fourplay ended on a major cliffhanger; I won't say what to avoid spoilers for anyone who hasn't yet read it.

Fourkeeps picks up where book one left off, there isn't any recap of what happened in Fourplay. It's really kind of hard for me to review Fourkeeps without giving spoilers for Fourplay but this is a romance duet so it is normal to expect an HEA and Jaye Rylon gives us a great one for Kari and her guys.

On the way to their HEA they have to deal with the creep from book one and just how that was going to happen kept the suspense going just enough to keep things interesting. When things finally came to a head it was almost anticlimactic but not enough that it changed how I felt about the book.

We get lots more hot, sexy time for Kari, Ford, Josh and Brady and boy do I mean HOT! These three men are a dream come true (or at least a fantasy come true – lol) and they take such good care of Kari!

If you were waiting for this book to get published before buying/reading Fourplay the wait is over and you won't have to wait between books now. This duet would make a perfect after Christmas present to yourself.

An advanced copy of this book was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author.

I read books one and two together in a bundle through the app Kiss, which is fortunate since the first one ended in a cliffhanger.

The author kept telling us how well these characters got along, but aside from their multiple sex scenes, I didn’t really see that. But I am definitely not complaining that there were too many sex scenes because I enjoyed each one. And as I’ve never had sex with three men at the same time, I appreciated the information on how that could happen.

What I really like is how much consent was a part of their relationship, although they need to work better on their communication skills. Everyone is so afraid of ruining the relationship that they don’t speak their truth about how much they want to keep it.

You spend a little time seeing everything from the point of view of one of five characters, although with Josh, Brady, and Ford, it’s sort of interchangeable. There just doesn’t seem to be enough difference between those three. The majority of the book is from Kari’s point of view; and smaller parts come from the man who raped and stalked her.

CW:
- sexual harassment at work
- being drugged
- and raped
- stalked
- revenge porn
- getting hit by a car
- unknowingly being filmed while having sex

You definitely need to have read the first book as this one picks up RIGHT where the last one left off and it is one hell of a ride. I was excited, I was hopeful, I was crushed, I was afraid, and overall I was just enraptured. The men are all very sexy and just like the heroine, I fell for each of them for their differences. Kari shows some real growth and strength and it's impossible not to feel for her at every turn. I didn't love the points of view from Marty, but then I never do. He's twisted and disgusting.

The closure was satisfying and I have to admit that while I love the four main characters (they can do some stupid things sometimes, to which we can all relate), my real hero this time around was Bronson. I don't think he got enough "airtime". Overall, I loved their story - especially that ending!

Fourkeeps is a incredibly endearing. It was full of heat, but even better was all the feels.

This is part 2 of Jayne’s Four Play which saw Kari weaving emotionally through a serious sexual assault to come out on the other side with some trust issues. The cliffhanger saw Kari pushed in front of a taxi by her attacker.

This book picks up with Kari in hospital and her 3 handsome bosses rushing to her side whilst being very attentive and caring as usual. As the 4 continue to develop their relationship, the hunt continues for her attacker who has been stalking Kari and generally making her life as difficult as possible. It all comes to a head when pictures of the foursome together in a jacuzzi surface in a magazine. Will this be the end of the foursome? Can their relationship continue whilst becoming public knowledge? An enjoyable read. I enjoyed reading both parts 1 and 2 of this series.

FourKeeps is the second book in the Ever After Duet from Author Jayne Rylon.  This book must be read after Fourplay, which is the first book in the series.  FourKeeps begins where we were left off in the previous book.  Ford, Josh, and Brady are all working on a case late at their office.  They soon realize that Kari was supposed to bring dinner with her and it’s now 8 pm.  The men finally learn her whereabouts, but they didn't expect to find her where they did.

FourKeeps was a great conclusion to the duet.  The storyline was steamy, suspenseful and full of drama. It had a great storyline, and I liked the characters showing more emotions.   Another great story from author Jayne Rylon!

Part 2 picks up right after book 1 and what a great conclusion it was. The previous story did end in a cliffhanger, so I will try to review without giving too much away.

The guys come to Kari’s rescue, she needs some tender loving care after going through a horrible ordeal. From there, they show her just how much she means to them, while also trying to protect her from a stalker.

Little by little, Kari comes into her own and realizes that she has to fight for what she wants and what she wants is Ford, Brady and Josh.

Totally enjoyed all the steamy scenes, loved how Kari realizes how strong she really is, loved how the guys all come together to show her how much they love her. Do yourself a favor and make sure you pick up this story by Jayne Rylon.

Fourkeeps is book 2 in the new duet featuring 3 very hot alpha males and the woman they want to make theirs. After an accident Kari moves in with Ford, Brady & Josh to stay safe. While living with them they decide to give their relationship a try. A fight amongst them leads Kari to leave and possibly put herself in danger once again. After something happens to expose their growing relationship the guys want to break it off to protect Kari. Will she let them push her away and end the best thing that happen to all of them or will she stand up to them and for them? Will they find the person responsible for trying to hurt Kari before it is too late? This is a wonderful ending to a great duet. I love getting to meet the 4 of them and the glances we saw of Andi and her guys to see how they are doing.

This is the final book in a duet. Fourplay was the first part of the story, and that ended on a huge cliffhanger for Ford, Josh, Brady, and Kari. Jayne Rylon is one of my favorite authors, and this story kept me engrossed and entertained.

There are some heavy moments, and I couldn’t believe how the hits kept coming for Kari. I really like how caring, protective, and loving Ford, Josh and Brady are with Kari. The guys were a bit thick-headed at times, but Kari’s best interests were always on their minds. I also like that she is strong and fearless at heart.

Ford, Josh, Brady, and Kari are extremely likable. There is love, laughter, happiness, hot sex, angst, pain, and a villain. The three men do their best to keep Kari safe, while also showing her their love and desire for her.

This was a satisfying HEA to this steamy story!!

Definitely picks up where Fourplay left off. Kari has moved in with her men for her protection. Her stalker is getting worse to the point Kari is hurt. Ford, Josh and Brady have had enough. But the man they are after is hard to find and yet he is still able to get to Kari. This book is amazing because Kari finally finds her strength in herself to stand up and understand that the guys love her and she is shedding her insecurities. Things are finally looking up for the foursome when the stalker does his worst. Kari refuses to go when the guys tell her it is for the best, for herself. It is her turn to bring them together and make the guys understand that they will let anything tear them apart. Great story with action and sexy time and a great ending. I have been a Jayne Rylon fan for a very long time, and love this Duet.

2nd book in series

The 2nd book picks up where the 1st one left off. Kari is hit by a car because Marti pushes her into it. Ford, Brady & Josh have her stay with them so they know she’s safe.
When Kari returns to her apartment, Marti is there. Leaving evidence behind, he escapes before the police show up.
The guys & Kari grow closer. At a philanthropic gala Kari finds out there’s a video of Marti’s assault on her all over the internet. To make matters worse, Marti stalks her & the guys. He catches them in a compromising position & sells the pictures to a gossip magazine. Marti is finally caught & sent to jail.
Kari moves in with Ford, Brady & Josh permanently. At Andi’s wedding, the guys propose & they get their HEA.
This book was more exciting with its twists & turns. Plus I’m a sucker for a happy ending.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

This is the conclusion of the Ever After Duet. It picks up at the cliffhanger of book one. These do need to be read in order, so read Fourplay first.

Ford, Brady and Josh rush to Kari's side at the hospital and bring her home with them to nurse her to health and be sure of her safety. They have some emotional hurdles to overcome as they establish their unique relationships. There are a few misunderstandings, many stemming from Kari's past abuse and resulting insecurities.

There is plenty of steam in the sexy times of this story. We also get some extra insight into all of the foursome. There is some danger and mystery mixed in with the romance as well. Their journey of self discovery, alternative relationships and forever love is both challenging and rewarding. Very enjoyable read.

The second in this newest duet from Jayne Rylon and needs to be read after Fourplay.

We get the chance to, once again, spend time with Ford, Brady and Josh and Kari, the love of all their lives. We were left at the end of Fourplay with a rather dramatic cliffhanger which is only the beginning of the drama which ensues.

As you might expect, we haven't seen the last of Marty, the disgraced ex-employee of the law firm owned and made successful by our three handsome bachelors. He is out to get his revenge and Kari is his innocent victim.

But fear not, despite the shocking end/ start, the author gives us the HEA that was missing from Fourplay and does so in style.

4 delightful stars. One for each of these madly in love characters. Another winner from the pen of Jayne Rylon!

I’m so glad that this book came when it did, we were left wondering at the end of Four play what would become of Kari after her run in with the awful Marty, her poor guys are left frantic worrying and wanting to protect the only woman they can see sharing and spending their lives with. Despite the misunderstandings and the threat that hangs over Kari and her men, we see that they really do care for each other and that they want nothing more than to move their relationship forward and have the life they want. I loved Kari, how strong she is, despite suffering something no woman ever should she fights! She fights for her life and to love her men, who wouldn’t love Josh, Brady and Ford. Highly recommend!

If you haven't read Fourplay... STOP... go read it first, this book is part 2 of the duet and it does not have a recap of the first book so please do yourself a favour go back and read the original story or you will be lost on what is what.

This book picks up directly where Fourplay left off, and it doesn't keep you guessing. the character development in this story has happened in such an organic way that you feel that these characters are finally complete at the end of this story and you are so routing for them to achieve all their goals in life. Jayne also brought the sexy back in this story, while I didn't miss the sexy in the first part I'm definitely glad that the sexy came back for book 2.

A hot conclusion for a bunch of beautiful characters.

This is book 2 in the duet and it’s highly recommended you read Fourplay first. You won’t have a clue what’s going on in this book if you haven’t read book 1.
It picks up where book 1 stopped and Kari is in the hospital after being struck by a cab. This is a manage involving Kari, Ford, Brady and Josh so don’t say you haven’t been warned. There’s a lot happening in this book and it will keep you on your toes. We also get to revisit with Andi, Cooper, Simon and Reed from For-Ever Mine so that was fun. And you definitely have the hot sex in play with these guys. There’s a good story here and it’s not just sex so I would recommend you reading the 2 books. They aren’t real long but they don’t feel rushed and just thrown together. You will enjoy them.

This is the conclusion to the Ever After duet. With the way the first book ended I knew we were in for a wild ride. Jayne Rylon did a great job of creating a vile character that you hate right off the bat. He's definitely scum and all I wanted was karma to be served to him. Now Josh, Brady, Ford, and Kari were fantastic. I so wanted them to get their HEA. This is a menage story so be prepared for that when venturing into this duet. They have so much chemistry and each guy brings something different to the relationship. It was beautiful to watch the way they treat Kari. They show her how precious she truly is to them. This one definitely delivers on a roller coaster of emotions. The ending is so beautiful and so perfect.

Jayne brought it again! What a beginning! Poor Kari, she just goes through so much with stupid Marty. I want the guys to kick is butt but they can't do that because that could ruin any case against him. Each guy was different and just what she needed at different times. Andi is such a character and just the friend that Kari needs. Jayne brings emotions, drama and sexiness to her books. I love that it's not just "sex, sex and more sex" but that you get everything in great story telling.... the real relationship miscommunitions, the fun romantic times and friends and then yes the sexiness.

To say this book has all the heat level of Ms.Rylon's other books is an understatement. Kari is their dream woman and they show her often how it can be between them. Ford, Josh and Brady know she's their forever. The past has a way to keep coming back though and Kari's safety is at risk. She's already been through so much that the guys can't let her be hurt again. I loved how alpha they all become and how Kari finds her strength within herself. She fights to keep what's hers, she won't let anyone take that away. Wonderful conclusion to the two book set. I am hoping for a follow up soon. Hint hint.

I thoroughly enjoyed the conclusion to this duet! When book one ending we were left wondering how Kari would be and where her, Josh, Brady and Ford would wind up. Me. Rylon does a fantastic job of giving us not only the steamy scenes we have come to expect but an emotional roller coaster that takes into account the inner workings of 4 different people and their interpretations of a relationship. There was of course a good amount of suspense thrown in thanks to the dangerous man from her past. This duet was well worth the wait and you need to pick it up today!

Fourkeeps is completion of the story of Kari, Ford, Brady, and Josh and picks up with Kari waking in hospital after being struck down by a cab when pushed by the creep villain, Marty Schone. The decision as to where Kari would go when released from hospital is made by Ford, Brady, and Josh and Kari finds herself at their penthouse and at their care. Time again and again Marty raises his ugly head with one scheme and then another to get Kari alone and at his mercy. Misunderstandings between Kari and the guys puts Kari in even more danger. It's a fast pace for the second act and will keep one warm on a winter night.

So happy to finally get this book in my hands on part 2. Enjoyed the first one so much, and with the cliff hanger and all, had to put aside the book that I was reading to finish this duet. Did not want to put it down once I opened it, but as we all know unless you lock yourself away, that doesn’t happen.
Loved the suspense and steam factors in this book. Kept me guessing. A very well told romance with just enough of ‘what's going to happen next’ with both the fact that there is someone out there and how will they push forward with their relationship to keep you reading.
Another wonderfully told story by Jayne Rylon. Always happy to get an ARC by this author. Thank you!

Loved it

Ford, Josh and Brad all of a sudden realize that Kari has not made it to their office. They each try calling her phone. At first they got no answer. They tried one last time and someone answered and told them she is at the hospital. They learn of a video and realize who hurt her. Will they be able get the one who hurt her or will their world fall apart? Can they convince each other that they belong together? Will the publicity keep them apart or strengthen their relationship? Come read the the other half of Fourplay. If you haven’t read Fourplay yet you need to read that book first. Be ready for a whirlwind romance and surviving a crazy man.

This is the second book in the Ever After Duet and it's a great ending. Again, I really like that Kari is a strong woman to begin with and she just becomes stronger with Ford, Josh and Brady by her side.

Her stalker is becoming more books and creepier, which I didn't think was possible. He's threatening Kari and they are all fighting back together. As they do this they decide they are ready to take the next step of being together for the long haul.

There are some very steamy sex scenes if that's what's your looking for but there is also some wonderful love scenes and funny querky scenes too which is something I love about Jayne Rylon's books.

This was the first Jayne Rylon duet/series I’ve read, even though I have many of hers on my Kindle. Ménage is my favorite erotic genre, and this duet doesn’t disappoint. Kari has been lusting after her bosses, Ford, Brady, and Josh almost from the time she began working for them. Little does she know, they all feel the same, and so much more. They don’t want to scare her off, but they also don’t want to risk losing her. When someone tries to interrupt their plans at love, Kari and the hottie trio will be tested in many ways.

I loved both books in this series. There’s some suspense, and a whole lot of heat between Kari and her lawyer bosses. A fairly quick read, but lots of story.

I didn’t realize that this was the second book of a two book series, so that’s the reason for the three stars. I didn’t have an immediate connection to the characters and the chemistry didn’t fall into place for me. That’s not to say that I didn’t like what I had read. The writing wasn’t choppy and long winded as some seem to be. I will need to read the first book to be able to give an honest evaluation to this one. If I thought it was three stars without reading the first book, I would guess that I would rate it higher when I am invested in Kari, Ford, Brady, and Josh.
