The only reason I gave this two stars rather than one is because of the last story. As with many of the 3 in 1 books, only one of the stories was worth reading. Here is my evaluation for each of the three:

Story 1
Southern Sympathies: no stars
The main character just grated on my nerves. She was supposed to be a Christian, but seemed not to know or truly understand any of the Bible. She was also weak; the typical submissive brainwashed cult member. This alone made her completely unlikable. I also didn't care for the male main character, who also made the whimpy choice when things got tough.

Story 2
A Matter of Security: 1 star
While the plot of this story was interesting, the relationship between the two main characters lacked development and believability. After a couple dates, a few kisses, and a rescue, you're ready to get married?!? The author did a great job developing the mystery plot, but not nearly enough time creating connection between the two MCs.
There were a couple other little things that related to the mystery, but I could have easily overlooked them if the relationship development had been there.

Story 3
The Bride Wore Coveralls: 3 stars
This story was great. Believable characters, interesting story line, and great character/relationship development. Only one glaring mistake: the characters order sweet tea and call it "sweetened tea," something no southerner would ever do.
This is the best story of the three.

The first 2 stories were good...but the last one was the BEST!!!! it was about a young woman who starts liking this guy who is her rival for mud car racing. he likes her also...and at the end of alot of bad and good, she walks down the alise on her wedding day in overalls. it was a GREAT STORY!!!!

A book with 3 little Christian romances in it. They were OK, the middle one by Kay Cornelius was the best, but none of them had a lot of depth to them. The characters modeled good fundamental Christian belief.

I have read a lot of the 3in1 books. I really liked this one a lot! The last story was the best of all three.
