A new threat is on the rise and Emily begins to wonder if Chevalier is more interested in being her savior than her protector. The Cavalry strives to keep her safe while she opens a new dog rescue on the property she once stole from the Valle. She continues her quest to find and revive the former Encala Elders, with help from an unlikely source.Meanwhile, Dain remains in the Equites prison under Chevalier’s watchful eye, at the same time as the other half-heku children begin the long process of integrating into the lives of the heku as they try to break free from the shadow of their famous parents. Emily feels the Equites have finally overstepped and begins a new life on her own.
T.M. Nielsen doesn't necessarily consider herself an author. She's an every-day woman who had a story to tell. Never intending to let anyone else read it, she decided to put it all down on paper. What she ended up with is a fascinating tale filling 7 books full of drama, adventure, action, romance, and excitement.
When asked why she decided to publish, she stated, "I want for others to be able to forget about problems in life and to lose themselves in my world... the world of the heku. While I write, I laugh, cry, grin, gasp, and my heart races. I want others to experience that too."
T.M. Nielsen is a computer tech by trade and lives with her husband and two beautiful daughters.
I love the Heku series! It's one of my favorite series. I re-read it as much as I can. I was so excited to get my hands on book eleven. And it didn't disappoint. I sure hope they're more of Chev and Em , to come.
I love this book and series. Never has one character gotten into so much trouble! But she's strong. She stands up for those she loves. Waiting very (un) patiently for the next one please!
Another great book. I love this series. I love Emily and Chev. I love how even after so many books, there is still so much drama but not to much drama.
