In the years Andrew McIver has been an engineer at River’s End Ranch, he’s watched his friends and colleagues find love time and again…but despite his many first dates, no one special has kindled that spark for him. And he’s reached the point in his career where he’s tired. He needs a change, although he won’t admit it to his sister. She’s the only family member he still speaks to; he might be a member of the sprawling Quinn family, but he hasn’t spoken to any of them in years. Especially not his Uncle Bob…
Rachel Chakrabarti is the Assistant General Manager for the Quinn Hotel and Spa, and her boss, Bob Quinn, has put her in charge of finding a new chief engineer. But that stress is nothing compared to the way her heart pounds when she meets her date for the first time; Andrew is gorgeous and capable and a brilliant kisser! But once she figures out who he is, she decides it’s up to her to force a reconciliation between Andrew and his uncle.
And that’s when everything goes wrong.
With Thanksgiving only days away, can Rachel patch things up with the man she’s coming to love? Can she help Andrew see that family is the most important thing to be thankful for? It’s going to take one determined lady and one brilliant engineer to fix this forever!
If you’ve followed the connecting series, Rivers End Ranch, then you’ve run into Andrew at some point. He’s always been a bit of a mystery, he often gets the first date with the heroine who finds her true love in another member of the extended Rivers End Ranch family. We’ve known that he has family over in Quinn Valley but we never heard about them. Now we know why. There is an underlying, below the surface sadness and anger to Andrew that we will discover through FIXING FOREVER. Most of what you need to know is in the cover description, and I don’t want to spoil anything for another reader so I’ll be brief and avoid spoilers.
Andrew and Rachel meet through a dating app and everything is going smoothly until that first, in person, meeting. Rachel will have her suspicions confirmed that Andrew is indeed part of the family who owns the hotel where she is the Assistant General Manager. She will push him on something that ends very badly. And from that point onward your heart is going to break for two people who could be falling in love and for Andrew’s family as well. We never know how someone else is going to take our words of wisdom or whether we actually know the entire story to even think of giving any suggestions on their circumstances. One misunderstood sentence has created such pain, sadness, and estrangement within one family. It will take the love of a woman determined to see her man happy again to help clear the air.
I enjoyed FIXING FOREVER and it was wonderful to finally see Andrew get the happy ending he so rightly deserves. I’m definitely looking forward to Heather’s story for I know that has to be coming at some point. If you love a good Romance, an engaging multi-author series then you’d enjoy this story.
I read this title through my Kindle Unlimited subscription.
Andrew McIver met Rachel Chakrabarti through the online dating site Soulmates and they felt an instant connection. But he discovers she works for his uncle, a man he hasn’t spoken to in seven years. Because of what happened Andrew and his sister Heather cut themselves off from their extended Quinn family. Now Rachel wants to mediate and hope Andrew will accept an open engineering supervisor position at his uncle’s hotel. But can he get past hurts and misunderstandings and open his heart to new possibilities and a forever love with Rachel? There were plenty of funny, sweet, and intense moments in this clean romance. Andrew was stubborn and Rachel did manipulate him to get him to interview with his uncle. But her heart was in the right place and he was great with his niece and nephew. His sister Heather deserves a romance with a man who treats her and her children right.
A really good quick read. I love my visits to Quinn Valley and seeing some old friends and making more. Rachel is the Assistant General Manager for the Quinn Hotel and Spa, and her boss, Bob Quinn, has put her in charge of finding a new chief engineer. His nephew would be perfect but he and his sister have been estranged from the family for a number of years. When she realizes that her new online boyfriend is the nephew she wants to bring the parties together in time for the holidays.
The main characters were great and this was so well written. The story line was quick moving and I really loved the scenes with Andrew and his niece and nephew and the fact that the only tattoos he has are their names because they are the most important thing to him.
Love Caroline Lee's books, Especially this series.
Caroline Lee writes about a Family with a Long and complicated history. She shows through the interaction of her characters that difficult and often painful family history that has wounded the hearts of its members through misunderstanding and acrimony can eventually be resolved and brought to a good and healing conclusion. Many families have this kind of situation because of misunderstandings that need to come to light and be resolved, so the family's relationship s can be restored. Holidays give us the opportunity to open our hearts to one another.
After waiting for Andrew’s story, two years in the making at River’s End Ranch, Caroline Lee definitely did it justice. As part of the Quinn family, Andrew had issues with his uncle and dealt with bitterness, disgust and grief. Rachel came into his life and helped him face the problems, and got to the heart of the matter. From the heaviness of a family estrangement to the celebration of Thanksgiving with grateful hearts as the family begins the process of healing, there were tears and laughter, with hints of secrets and romances to come. A wonderful read!
I loved Andrew and Rachel’s story. It hit home in so many ways. It brought home not only love, but how much family matters, among other issues (don't want to leak spoilers). Andrew and Rachel did the most important thing needed in a relationship – they listened to one another. I love the Quinn family. I also loved Andrew’s niece (Sophie), nephew (Sean) and sister (Heather). I am looking forward to reading more stories about the Quinn family. Especially Andrew’s brother, Dusty, and his sister in the future. Keep up the wonderful and enjoyable writing Caroline Lee.
I enjoyed the characters of Rachel and Andrew. They meet through a dating website and hit it off. But she works for his uncle who he hates. To make matters worse Rachel pushes him into a meeting with his uncle. She thinks Andrew will never want to see her again. But he surprises her and a week later contacts her. Rachel is just the person to help mend ties with his family and with some quirky characters and the fairies giving advice Andrew has no choice but to follow his heart and try to make amends. I received a complimentary copy and I am voluntarily reviewing.
FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY Andrew gets the girl! I feel like I have been waiting for Andrews story forever. Let me tell you that it was soooooooo worth the wait. It was a bit of a struggle for Andrew and Rachel to find their happily ever after but they are a strong couple because of it. I loved getting to know more about Andrew and his past. I cannot say enough good things about this book. Give it a read and experience it for yourself. You will not be disappointed.
Five stars. Five smiles. Five tissues. Five Hearts
Andrew and Rachel’s sorry is just wonderful. I loved reading about them and felt like I was falling in love with my wife all over again, even though we have nothing in common. But if famous forever, than so is love. And isn't falling in love just the best thing ever? Anger burns hot 🔥 in this book, but not between Andrew and Rachel. Past hurts can be overcome with love and understanding and I appreciate this story of redemption. And, as always in a book by Caroline Lee, love conquers all.
Another great addition to the Quinn Valley Ranch Series! As usual, Caroline Lee tells the story with heart and humor. When Rachel starts communicating with Andrew she has no idea he is the mysterious, estranged Quinn cousin. And he has no idea that she works for one of the family businesses. Andrew realizes that their feelings for each other are strong and he needs to talk about what has kept him away for so long and reconcile with his family. The misunderstanding is handled with love and faith. You will love Andrew and Rachel’s sweet love story.
I loved reading this book! It's a compelling story about Andrew & Rachel. We've all rooted for Andrew, since RER, to find his true love. I'm excited too finally see if he finds her. Andrew & Rachel are looking for the one, through a dating website. They finally agree to meet. What they don't realize is they both have a connection to the Quinn family, & it makes it very awkward for them. Will Andrew & Rachel, see they were meant to be together? Enjoyed everything about the story!!!
Finally it’s Andrew’s time to find love. After all his first dates (and some second or third) Andrew founds a fun woman using a dating site. When he finds Rachel he’s thinking of forever until he discovers her background. Is their love strong enough? Can Rachel help him to connect with his past? I really enjoyed this long awaited story of Andrew. I recommend this story of love, family and forgiveness.
More hate than love with the Quinn side of his family. More from his sister than him if that’s possible. Rachel was Bob’s right hand person at the Quinn Inn/Motel in Quinn Valley. Rachael was on a new dating site that she really thought was going to work out for her and so did Andrew and the story begins. Read and enjoy!!!! Much much much!!!!!!!!
A beautiful heartwarming story of forgiveness and reconciliation. Caroline Lee does a magnificent job tying Rivers End Ranch and Quinn Valley together. If you have followed poor Andrew's first date experiences in RER you will love this conclusion. He let's a second date.
You can never go wrong reading a book written by Caroline Lee. Andrew has been waiting for his forever after for a while now. Caroline did him great by bringing Rachel (or should I say Hannah, Lol) into his life. I loved this story of family reunion and forgiveness.
Andrew n Rachel's story is a small roller coaster ride, filled with his n downs. Andrew n his Uncle Bob, who also happens to be Rachel's boss, haven't spoken in years due to miscommunication on both sides. Rachel stands by both of them n helps each of them to talk with one another. Join the Quinn family for another wonderful story!
When a dating app brings Rachel and Andrew together, neither is prepared for the intense feelings they have for each other. Rachel learns that Andrew is a Quinn and is determined to bring him back to the family. When it backfires, it looks as though their chance for a relationship is out of the question ~
Wonderful sweet story about finding love and family in a beautiful setting and finally Andrew finds the one to share his journey with and at the same time find o.j. ng his way back home.
This is a refreshingly honest and sweet romance with adorable and heartwarming characters that will make you a true believer in true love and soulmate again you will definitely enjoy every moment of this book and their journey to forever.
It was great going back to visit River's End Ranch one more time! Just when Andrew thought Jaclyn had forgotten about him, she and Josh pull through! Glad Andrew got his HEA, and look forward to seeing more of this series.
Loved Andrew and Rachel. Andrew stopped talking to the Quinn's and here he was meeting a women that worked for his uncle. Rachel tried to repair their relationship but things don't always work out as planned. Great story
I haven't read any other books in this series yet, but I love River's End Ranch and this beautiful story did not disappoint. Andrew experiences faith, family and forgiveness on the road to his HEA and I'm so grateful that I got to go along on his journey!
Andrews family history was definitely unexpected, but I loved the chemistry and strength between him and Rachel. I'm just crossing my fingers and toes that Heathers story is coming soon. A wonderful addition to the Quinn Valley Ranch series!
For those who enjoy River's End Ranch series you will be thrilled to know Andrew McIver finally gets his love story! Rachel Chakrabarti is perfect for Andrew!
Andrew- engineer from RER and Rachael-AGM at Quinn Hotel I enjoyed reading this captivating story that is fantastically written and finally got Andrews story. Their story has a wonderful and somewhat complete HEA.
So glad Andrew finally got his HEA! He has definitely waited long enough. So glad to Jaqulyn and her bunnies show up. Added something a little special!
We have been waiting for Andrew's book FOREVER, he has appeared throughout the River's End Ranch series and we have been hoping for his HEA, so glad we finally get this as part of the Quinn Valley Ranch Series. This is a book packed full of discovery, emotion, misunderstandings, forgiveness and about learning to trust, both Andrew and Rachel need to learn to trust themselves, trust in love and finally trust in family because 'family is forever' Is it too late for Andrew or has he finally found his forever?
