Wedded to the Wolf: A Shifters in Love BBW/Mermaid & Werewolf Romance Curvy mer-princess Justine knows her fling with hunky werewolf Drew is destined to be brief.
After a bad marriage, this mermaid doesn’t want to be bitten by love, let alone by a werewolf.
Drew is his Alpha’s heir. That means marrying a wolf or a woman he can transform into one. Living in tiny Mystic Bay and marrying a mer-woman is a no go.
But this dominant, protective Marine burns to give BBW Justine a second chance at love. Must Drew choose between his pack and his fated mate? Even as he rocks her senses and steals her heart, Justine can’t quite believe that Drew is her one true love.
But hot monkey love with a smoking alpha wolf? She’s totally down with that.
Yet when the tables are turned, and it is Drew who is transformed by mer magic, all bets are off. Can these two shapeshifters bond before the Mer-King hauls Drew off to deep water?
No spoilers! But, as usual, there is a Happy Ever After ending and a whole lot of hijinks and good loving. Let shifters Drew and Justine sweep you away on a steamy mini-vacation.
Enjoy your visit to the magical island of West Haven, where the paranormal is normal, and true love always finds a way.
The characters you loved in the other Mystic Bay books return to delight you again. (Don’t worry, Wedded to the Wolf is a standalone. You can read all the Mystic Bay books in whatever order appeals.)

I am really enjoying this series. Mystic Bay sounds like a great place to visit, and even if Isadora wasn't one of the authors who I buy as soon as I see a new book of hers I would enjoy reading this fun series. It would be 5 stars if she didn't cut off the stories to get good.t just as it is starting to get good. 👍👍👍
I really enjoyed this romance about Justine, a mermaid, and Drew, a wolf shifter. This story has many twists and turns but the constant is the attraction between Justine and Drew that evolves into so much more. 💕💗🔥💕
There are many barriers to their relationship but Drew just won't let them stop them because he knows, in his heart of hearts, that Justine is his mate... even if she doesn't realize it right away. From the interference of their families to her abusive ex lurking in the background, these two just keep going strong until the ex is suddenly no longer in the background. 😨 But they work through it, in their own way, and come out stronger for it. 😍
This is the seventh book in the Mystic Bay Series and although it does have some crossovers, it can be read as a standalone. 😉
I voluntarily read and reviewed a free advance copy of this book.

There is a passage that had me absolutely laughing out loud while trying to read this book that is about two-thirds of the way through the book. Poor Drew has something happen to him and his reactions to it are both adorable and hilarious at the same time. A Sea-wolf! And humping on the brain is all I'm gonna say! 🤣🤣🤣🤣💖
Justine Merryman, a mermaid and sensitive with Drew Wolfmann, a werewolf and hunter; little chance of that in in Mystic Bay on West Haven, especially with all that's stacked against them. Drew's grandfather, the wealthy Alpha of the clan, sees him as the heir to the position and an attorney in the family firm, mated to an acceptable wolf bitch (not as in personality, but as a biological fact) While Justine's father, the hardworking Mer King, expects her to find a merman and produce gilled offspring. These two sea crossed lovers came face to face when Drew investigated Justine's former husband-a fraud who undermined her confidence. As anxious as I was, curious about the outcome, and wanting to skip ahead, I couldn't, knowing I'd miss my new friends, viewed from a distance, if I finished without the details and, as I was to learn, surprise happenings. This very enjoyable story is a joy to read, with it's snappy dialog, warm characters, and warmer moments. It seems as though as each of the books in the series becomes my new favorite.
An absolutely, delightful shifter romance & I really found it a pleasure to read. The plot is intriguing & filled with unexpected incidents which keeps the reader’s attention firmly on the book. The characters are unique individuals that entwined fairly well with each other, and reacted with varying emotions to the situations they found themselves in. There are some character crossover from previous books but this shifter romance is complete & standalone. There is: a determined marine & wolf shifter (Drew), a curvy mer-princess (Justine), a despicable con-man & ex-husband (Chris), a controlling mer-king & father (King Roger), a manipulative grandfather & alpha wolf shifter (Andrew), twists & turns, intrigue, drama, secrets, some danger, magic, various kinds of shifters, a sorcerer, attractions, family issues, verbal banter, conflict, royal decree, emotional turmoil, love, happiness, some steam & a wonderful ending. I would recommend this book.
Justine made an unlucky choice with her first serious relationship, finding out shortly into her marriage that he had already been married and only wanted the supposed treasure of the mer king's family. The man who uncovered the truth and helped her to keep that man in prison, surprisingly stayed in Mystic Bay. Drew, wolf-shifter and heir apparent to a pack on the mainland, had no interest in taking that responsibility and instead was waiting for Justine to finally be free for him to claim. But with both heads of their families against the match it takes a threat to unite the families and accept what fate decreed. As usual - well written in the typical Mystic Bay fashion - blending romance, fantasy and a threat to someone into a fantastic story. I received this book as an ARC from the author and voluntarily leave this review.
One of the best and funniest shifter books I've read! I fell in love with all the characters which is a first for me. The budding relationship between Justine and Drew starts off on a bad foot, or should I say tail? His grandfather and her father are not about to make things easy for them. It's a rocky road they head down, but they have no control even though they think they do. Bookends, a matched set in spite of what others may think or try to convince these two they are right and the lovers are wrong. At times, this is hilarious, touching, scary and over the top wonderful. If you love couples who defy the odds, you will love this tender, weepy, funny story. I've read it twice now and will read it again I know. Isadora, you outdid yourself with this one!!
Wedded to the Wolf by Isadora Montrose Drew Wolfmann came to Mystic Bay looking for Justine Merrymann's husband. Justine doesn't know where he is and didn't know he was already married. As soon as Drew meets Justine, he knows he wants her and is willing to wait for her. So for two years, he waits. Both families don't approve, what are they willing to do to stop these two. This is a very romantic story and I enjoyed reading this book. This story full of twist and turns and through it and it is a page-turner. I received an advanced reader copy and have voluntarily chosen to leave a review. This is my honest opinion.
I could not put this one down. From this first page I was drawn into this world of shifter romance. Isadora Montrose knows how to invite you into the story. She brings the characters and community to life. I wish i could live in Mystic Bay. You can read this book as a stand alone, but it also is an ongoing story of Mystic Bay and the shifters that live, love and work there. I couldn't put this book down. I would recommend this book to anyone that liked shifter books. The author gifted this book to me. But this is my voluntary honest review.
Justine the mermaid was finally getting her life back now that her Ex is getting what he deserves for all his crimes. Now the tension between her and Drew can be released that has been building for the 2 years he'd helped put her Ex away. Drew a werewolf had track a man that had hurt many and found a woman he didn't want to leave and after 2 years he was getting his chance. Another great story from Mystic Bay with some twists, a bad guy and a loving romance that has some ups and downs that will have you turning the pages to see how it all turns out.
Justine Merryman made an unfortunate match to a man who only wanted the supposed wealth of the mers the man that helped her get out of that situation was Wolf shifter Drew Wolfman . Drew knows that Justine his is mate he is just waiting for her to be available and he will make his move after all he has left his pack where he is destined to be the alpha With both their families against this match do they have any chance of a HEA you will need to read to see. When danger threatens these two families will have to work together and realise that true love is the only thing worth fighting for
This book flowed so well that before I knew it I was turning the last page always a sign of a great book
I just love the Mystic Bay series. The books are always well written with humor, passion, and drama. Drew is a wolf and Justine is a mermaid so you wouldn't think they would make a great couple but gate always knows best. If you like a good shifter romance this is a must read. Each book in the series can be read as a stand alone but the whole series is awesome so just read them all.
I absolutely loved this book and was honored to have been able to read and review. It was such a phenomenal read and had amazing characters as well as an amazing story line. I just couldn't get enough of it and once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. I recommend that you read it.
"I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book."
Book seven in the Mystic Bay series is well written and a story that held my interest until the end. A book I was not putting down until I was finished reading. I recommend this book.

Justine and Drew are not of the same kind. But who says a mermaid and wolf can’t be more than lovers.. well the Met King and Drew’s Alpha/grandpa might have something to say about that.
I really enjoyed this story and loved how Drew knew she was his no matter what. Has laughs, surprises and even a bear!
I received a free book and voluntarily chose to review it. This is a mature only book. Mystic Bay is getting more and more visitors and causing the Sheriff more problems. You’ll enjoy who the sheriff is and the other permanent people are interesting. This is a love story with some twists.
Drew was a wonderful character and it was great getting his and Justine's story. I really loved Justine who had a bad relationship in a past book. The two had great chemistry and lots of steam. Justine who was a mermaid was a lot of fun as she put up with Drew's family. This place has such great characters and I love the unique twist at the end. Love Haven and it's paranormal characters that always seem to find an HEA. Loved it!!
Thoroughly delightful storyline, the chemistry between Drew and Justine is simply amazing. I can't wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
Oh my...an alpha wolf and a mermaid princess? Will that actually work? There are more issues than that to deal with, including a Mer-King and First Wolf to overcome. Robin and Sully may actually fail with this pairing! 🤐
You gotta love this author's humor, these characters stumble & fumble their way to love. This tale has lots of alpha males and one modern alpha female not willing to play second fiddle. I really like it when an author continues to use characters in their world, I think it strengthens the story when familiarity is present.
I received an ARC & have chosen to review it here.
Justine thinks after a bad first marriage there is no hope for her to have a happily ever after. Drew wants to change her mind, but can he? With a lot of obstacles to overcome to their own fairy tale, can they do it?
What a delightful story...Drew and Jasmine were such a down to earth couple. Humor was great and you can't deny the attraction they have for each other. I really enjoyed the banter between this couple. It was good to visit some of the other residents of Mystic Bay too.
I have loved all the books in this series and this one is no exception. Drew Wolfmann has been writing for his chance with Justine Merryman for two years. Her abusive, con-man ex is finally behind bars and nothing will keep him from her now. Not the fact that he is a wolf and she is a mermaid, not his grandfather trying to convince him to come back to the family business, not even Justine's father, the mer-king. The only thing that might slow him down is Justine's denial that they are meant to be together, and even that will only make him try harder. When fate steps in and forces Justine to make a life-changing decision, Drew finds himself somewhere he never thought he'd be, underwater.
I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.
I really wanted to see if she would change too if Drew bit her. She is lucky he waited two years before making a move on her. I knew her ex was gonna show up again.
This series is very reliable. Every book is enjoyable. The characters are charming and the storylines are fun. I love the romance and humor as well. This is just a great series.
This is also part of book bundle 5-8 of the series which you might want to check out
Each of the books are stand-alone with HEA. The characters and places are people you want to know. Each book adds to the series, characters weave from one book to another which binds this series and this town together Written with intrigue, twists and lots of humour
#5 Military veterans finding a second chance for love Fast pasted with lots of action heartache and drama. There are unexpected twists and intrigue which will keep you hooked. A Phoenix shifter with amnesia and PTSD, a unicorn shifter with a secret.
#6 With the threat of a shotgun wedding, Zoe turns to a friend, but had she jumped from the hot frying pan into the fire?
#7 A bad first marriage, and then so many obstacles when Justine try’s to reach out for a second chance of happiness
Seventh book of the series. I really love how the series connects the books. This one brings us a mermaid and a wolf. Both of the characters have an alpha that isn’t happy about the two even being near each other. But love doesn’t always make things work, at lease not without a lot of problems and pain. These two will have some very unique challenges. The romance is there even when they struggle. Can land and water find a way to make it work?
This one had a lot of exciting things going on. I adore Justine, she stood her ground and showed First Wolf that not only was she no pushover she was a lady, I loved that. Great fun to read.
