The EMP attack couldn't have happened at a worse Bill and Sally Chandler are spending time at their vacation cabin out in the Montana countryside, while their teenage children Cole and Jenny are left many, many miles back home.
Cut off with no working vehicles or communication devices to get in touch, Bill and Sally begin the long and arduous trek to make it back home and see their children again, but they both quickly realize that it's going to put their skills to the ultimate test as the world has descended into chaos with savage and dangerous people lurking seemingly behind every tree and around every hillside.
Meanwhile, left alone and afraid in the middle of a once peaceful environment rapidly collapsing around them, Jenny and Cole decide to leave their home behind and begin their own journey to search for their parents...but the odds of their success are thrown into extreme question when Jenny becomes gravely wounded following an attack.
A perfect read for fans of post-apocalyptic and dystopian fiction, Separated is a thrilling and action packed story of courage and heroism in the face of great adversity.
I get all into these stories & they just end abruptly. No warning....no there is going to be another....books are good to read though but nobody likes to be left hanging. 😌
I enjoyed this book. The storyline and characters were good. I don’t have a military background so was good to read and have it be honest about not knowing stuff and the fact it didn’t go into too much what I would take as unnecessary detail about guns and military tactics. If there’s another book I’ll definitely be getting my hands on it. A few minor errors such as grammar and spelling but nothing that would distract or take away from the storyline. Great writing :)
Interesting story line. Like other such books, some editing issues. Looking forward to reading the next installment. Similar to author's other stories.
