If you're a fan of the show, or looking for something to give you smile you're going to enjoy this. It's incredibly well done, the characters are flawlessly written, the stories are fun and lighthearted, and the art is incredibly charming. There's a few winks and nods to fandom stuff as well, either intentional or not. 10/10 material in here.
Oh wow, I just finished reading this super cool manga about My Little Pony, and it was so awesome! It's like a magical adventure with all my favorite pony friends!
So, Pinkie Pie is helping Twilight Sparkle and Spike clean up the castle Library, right? And then, guess what she finds? A mysterious mirror that can show different worlds! That's so cool! Pinkie Pie is like, "I gotta check this out," and goes into the mirror, and that's when things get crazy.
The story is all about Pinkie Pie going on this big adventure through different worlds, and it's so funny and exciting. There are lots of laughs, and Pinkie Pie is just as bubbly and fun as always. But, uh-oh, she accidentally starts some kind of trouble that could be really bad for Equestria! It's like a rollercoaster of fun and danger.
The manga has these amazing pictures that show all the ponies and the magical places they go. It's like watching a cartoon, but you get to read it too! And there are lots of other characters from Equestria in the story, not just the Mane 6, which is really cool.
I think any My Little Pony fan, no matter how old, will love this manga. It's funny, it's magical, and it's full of friendship. I can't wait for more adventures with Pinkie Pie and the gang. Two hooves up for this awesome manga!

A sweet and fun adventure with the Mane 6 manga-style. From magic portals and unintended spells to stage fright and fruit shenanigans, this is a nice variety of stories. Plenty of appearances from other characters such as the Apple Family, the Cutie Mark Crusaders, and Flim and Flam. And leave it to Discord to break the fourth wall and turn the world upside down.
The artwork is great. Loved the manga versions of all the ponies. There is also a character sketch gallery at the back.
I read the second volume first and am glad I went back to read this one. A great collection of humorous tales with plenty of magic, friendship, and fun.
If you've read the comics for Friendship is Magic you'll have a fairly good idea what this is like. Just more anime-style.
This volume contains a handful of stories. My favorite outs probably the self-aware anime parody at the end, but they were all pretty good. It's a little less 4th wall breaky than the western comics and more skewed to a younger audience, but if you like ponies and anime, it's worth a read.
My only complaint is that the ebook version has you turn pages in reverse but the pages are read flipped, so I'm not sure what happened there
The first few chapters of this slice-of-life manga were fairly funny, but the later ones were strange and weren't true to the style of the show. This manga was clearly written for bronies and I wouldn't recommend it for younger viewers of the show, as some chapters wouldn't make sense to younger fans (ex a couple chapters about background ponies). The last chapter was a satirization of manga and anime and was very out of place in an MLP book, considering that the tropes don't exist in the show and wouldn't make sense to someone who isn't familiar with manga/anime tropes. The first few stories centered around the Mane 6 make it a worthy read, however.
Fun and silly. Cute art. There are nods to the older subset of the fandom with how certain background/side characters appear.
I do feel like certain stories were rushed slightly or posed hints of potential additional stories with those elements that I doubt will be followed up on.
A great manga filled full of various slice of life story,s focusing on a specific character for each story laugh out loud hilarious at points! Can't wait for the 2nd manga to come out!
