Chiara is a journalist. A good one. For the world to know that, all she needs is a scoop. Her instincts tell her that the Riders of Tyr have a few stories to offer to the public and she decides to expose them. Will her undercover act work or will she be caught by a tall, silent Rider with consequences she never saw coming?
Ironhand is a soldier. A good one. All he needs is peace and quiet and for others to leave him the hell alone. But when the club is threatened by a journalist, he has to obey his King and take care of the problem. An enticing problem that won't shut up. Not all love stories start with flowers and romance.
Ironhand *cue heavy drooling and dreamy sighs*... (I am really starting to wonder why my favorite male characters in this series are the more "feral" and less talkative ones.... and so so intense)
Well, no matter, after Rage, Ironhand was definitely the one I was the more excited to read about. And the cocktail of him, silent, strong, needing peace and quiet, with the sassy, independent, quick-witted, sarcastic, badass journalist Chiara ...it's just explosive. And so much fun. And it makes the smut scenes... absolute fire.
I loved the clash of their personalities and the fact that even when her plan went to hell, she took the reign and didn't act like a prisoner or a victim. She made me laugh so much, and their interactions are priceless (just, seriously, their pet names... I love them)
I fucking love this romance and the Cree representation and being one with nature. The conflict was not as suspenseful as the others in the series. It was just hold her prisoner until they confirm what she knows and what she doesn’t. Also hated Tor a little more in this book. Highly recommend.
Ironhand is yet another exceptional book in the Riders Of Tyr MC series! Looking for another MC series that goes beyond the usual, try Bayou Bishops MC by Lucian Bane.
