Five Stars!!
Five Stars and then some is how I rate this book! I am a huge fan of Lisa Phillips and have several of her books in my collection but this one has kept me on pins and needles....I so wanted to peek at the end....now I have to wait until mid December to find out who the villain is.....this way the story continues and meet more of the people involved....something to look forward to....

Megan Perkins is working hard to find out who the blackmailer is. Every lead seems to fizzle out or not be what they thought. To make matters worse, she’s had to pair up with Agent Watkins. She’d prefer to work alone. Things from her past, along with many twists and turns still leave us guessing at who this blackmailer is and why so many are caught up in his or her trap. Can’t wait for the anticipated conclusion to this series! Another book that won’t be put down until the end.

Another very good installment of the Double Down series. More action, more mystery, and more romance.
Agent Adrian Walker is working with Megan Perkins to find the rogue FBI agent, Zimmerman. They think he will lead them to the blackmailer. Megan finds out that someone from her past is part of the blackmailer's scheme and it isn't a pleasant surprise. More people are found to have been effected by the blackmailer and it's surprising who he's pushing to his will.
This is a clean read.

Let down
It took me longer than it should have to finish this book, due to the fact that I didn't like Megan. At first I didn't know who she was since she had previously only been referred to as Perkins. I didn't care for another angry rogue FBI agent who was mentally unstable. And I didn't care for the continued snide referrals to conservatives. I may not finish the series. Book is well written, I just didn't care much for the bent.

I really enjoyed this book. Kept me turning the pages. I am still trying to find the first one in the series. I am currently reading the second. Also looked to order Deadly Holidays. But couldn't find it either. A bit baffled here. I really enjoy your style. I have read most of your books.

This is book #3 of a series of 4. You have to read all 4 to get the full story wrapped up. I enjoy the characters and the suspense. This one is packed with suspense and also a developing romance. Along with lots of trouble. I liked this one better than book #2.

Really liked the continuation of this series. It doesn't have to be read in order as Lisa catches the reader up, but for the sake of the mystery do so. The hunt for the blackmailer continues and you are easily caught in the mystery. Can't wait for a resolution with the next one.

I probably would have given it a five star if not for a couple of mistakes involving names and that it ended with a cliffhanger. It was an enjoyable book.

Ready, Set, Go!
Even though I was out of the loop of the main story line because I hadn't read previous books it was well-written enough to jump in and enjoy the story=)

Megan use tools of the trade and got inside the FBI Daniel’s apartment.
Had he stolen a sonic weapon, was he also the blackmailer they have been looking for. She wanted to bring him in by herself, and Aaron insisting to team up. With shot coming at them, they climbed into her car.
Looking into her duffle bag he spots the badge, was she retired, active, he sent a picture to his boss. Replying to bring her in. Who was she really, his boss Hank greets her like a lost daughter.

Still on the hunt for the blackmailer that has destroyed so many lives. Will Megan be able to overcome her past and trust Walker to help her find out who the blackmailer is and apprehend him.
