Yes, I have a lot of books, and if this is your first visit to my amazon author page, it can be a little overwhelming. If you are new to my work, let me recommend a few titles as good places to start. I love my Dan Shamble, Zombie P.I. series, humorous horror/mysteries, which begin with DEATH WARMED OVER. My steampunk fantasy adventures, CLOCKWORK ANGELS and CLOCKWORK LIVES, written with Neil Peart, legendary drummer from Rush, are two of my very favorite novels ever. And my magnum opus, the science fiction epic The Saga of Seven Suns, begins with HIDDEN EMPIRE. After you've tried those, I hope you'll check out some of my other series.

I have written spin-off novels for Star Wars, StarCraft, Titan A.E., and The X-Files, and I'm the co-author of the Dune prequels. My original works include the Saga of Seven Suns series and the Nebula Award-nominated Assemblers of Infinity. I have also written several comic books including the Dark Horse Star Wars collection Tales of the Jedi written in collaboration with Tom Veitch, Predator titles (also for Dark Horse), and X-Files titles for Topps.

I serve as a judge in the Writers of the Future contest.

My wife is author Rebecca Moesta. We currently reside near Monument, Colorado.

So cliche I thought I’d developed precognition.
Neither Ellis nor Anderson took time to develop characters.
Ellis (1995 series) had an interesting idea but nothing surprising in the plot.
Anderson’s use of new characters was baffling as he chose to ignore 30 years of established history; his so-called plot twists were hackneyed; and the abrupt nature of his ending all lead me to the conclusion that he phoned this in.
Not even an entertaining read: couldn’t wait to put it down.

This rating is for Starjammers (2004).
Enjoyed it, although probably ultimately forgettable. I admit I was expecting Scott and Alex's Dad to turn up at some point (he never did). Art was okay.

I could read the 1995 run but I often have issues with Ellis. I'll update if I read. ETA: Have read this 4 issue run. This one does have Corsair/Chris Summers in it. Hepzibah, as well as being an unsympathetic, loose cannon, fanatic has the most annoying way of talking. It's like Yoda. But it's harder to read than listen to. Story is okay. Art's typical 90s fare. End leaves a threat heading to Earth. I've no idea if this was followed up.

Apparently this also includes X-men Unlimited #32. I'll update if I read that too. ETA: Read the whole of this issue. I'll just review the Starjammers story. More 90s typical art (although a different artist) and an absolutely ridiculous story.

The 1995 story just showed the Starjammers doing what we already knew, and had seen the Starjammers doing.
Anderson’s version was like an alternate reality Starjammers story. Since the Human empire ruled the galaxy, there is no way it could be in the same time as the Starjammers we knew, but most of them were in the story, except somehow a race of non Groot tree people commanded the Starjammer. There was no explanation how or why. Basically it was a different version of the same story we have already read in Starjammers.
