"By contemplating and applying the precious knowledge in these pages, you will learn to make everything in your life easier . . . Relationships. Jobs. Family. Creativity. Happiness. And maybe even doing something more game-changing than you've ever thought possible." - Dave Asprey

Why do some people thrive while others just get by? What's their secret to peak performance and maximum happiness?
Some call it the zest, the gusto, or the extra edge in life. The ancient Indian spiritual tradition Vedanta calls it prana, or life force. We can call it vital force. By any name, it's the fundamental fuel that activates and optimizes all physical, emotional, and cognitive functions, including consciousness, perception, thinking, judgment, and memory.
In modern life, we have forgotten the golden key-the higher our energy, the better our performance in everything we do. Energy naturally impacts mind-set and moves us toward greater happiness, success, and self-awareness. This book gives you back your power with simple tools to take hold of the limitless energy of life itself-more swiftly and easily than you ever thought possible.
Rajshree Patel is a former federal prosecutor who discovered Vedanta by accident and went on to become an internationally renowned teacher of its deep wisdom and dynamic practice. In these pages, she
• What vital force is, how it influences every single aspect of your life, how to enhance it-and how your mind, the biggest energy hog, can drain it;
• Tools to dial down the chatter of your racing mind and resolve your personal energy crisis;
• Why traditional mindfulness meditation may not be your best path to inner peace;
• Easy biohacking techniques, from breath work to meditation to movement, that reduce stress and maximize joy; and
• Ancient secrets to fuel your purpose and performance in every aspect of your life.
The Power of Vital Force is a practical pathway to the unlimited source of energy and intelligence that exists beyond the thinking and reasoning mind.

This book is quite a tour de force. It unpacks the ancient Vedic wisdom in simple narrative and modern context. It talks about the subtle and intelligent life force that fuels each one of us. Author approaches this mystical dimension with the rigor of a scientist. Loved reading it. Strongly recommended.

Though I took away a few great mantras and/or concepts, what would have been a very powerful article was instead written into a book a few hundred pages too long. It was a struggle to get through

unlimited energy, unlimited intelligence or knowingness,
and the unlimited potentiality of what we can call “love,” “connectivity,” or
“belongingness.” It describes these three qualities by the word
satchitananda, “existence, consciousness, bliss.
Breathing exercises mentioned : timed inhale and exhale, breathing to count and properly and slowly and hands up while inhaling and down while exhaling.
throws emphasis on life is more than our body and mind and while we exercise for body we need to refuel our mind as well. emotions don’t just use up energy. They can also generate and
increase energy. Positive emotions give us a surge of vitality in the form of
enthusiasm, joy, gratitude, love, contentment, and excitement. However, to
experience the positive emotion, we need some energy to begin with. It’s
hard to feel happy, grateful, or excited when we are exhausted.
three levels of happiness: pleasure,
engagement, and meaning. optimum condition that sharpens the body is efforts and activity while for mind its stillness and relaxation. comparison of concious,memory and sunconscious mind to tip of ice berg, base and submerged part is amusing so is the too many open files in our mind part.
power of now and how is explained. talks about acceptance it doesnt mean means being passive, just giving up. But this is not what I’m talking about. Acceptance isn’t giving up. It’s not resignation,and it’s not weakness. . It’s not resignation,
and it’s not weakness. A mind in acceptance is about action. Acceptance is so powerful because it
comes from a place of being completely in the present moment, with a quality of openess directness and honest with onself it allows us to prepare the next step. overall its a faboulus book thats worth the read and it maybe bit greedy on my part to want more of those breathing exercise. the author style and wisdom and enthusiam travels through the book.

I haven’t read a book with so much power in a long time. Rajshree Patel is a gifted storyteller and I’d love to share this book with all my friends. But I’m keeping it to read it a second time. It’s THAT good. Thank you @byrajshree for writing with such vibrant energy. I’m literally breathing better now.

Poorly written. The author clearly doesn't know how to write and often comes across as hypocritical and judgy.

This book is a distillation of over 30 years of authors experience in teaching meditation and holistic human well being. "Who am I " a question which many times looms in our head too. Delivering and living principles of ancient Vedic knowledge and meditation techniques, she travels to different countries transforming lives of tens thousands of people, people of different religions, cultures, ages,races - touching them at the deepest levels of our existence as human beings. Empowering them with tools and know how to conduct a happy and meaningful life.

While writing this review I have already read the book twice and planing to read it again. Its a book which you will want to keep close to you for ever.
