My First Maggie Newberry Story

This is the first time I have read a book in this series and I thought it a fun read. I had a bit of difficulty keeping all of the characters straight but found the story believable and quick paced. Family interactions and thankfulness was the point of the story, at least in my opinion. I look forward to reading more and with 13 books, there is plenty to read!

I dearly love Maggie Newberry and the great cast of characters in her fictional world. Generally, "holiday novellas" is a series are just obvious fillers, but this one was delightful, a look at a difficult day in Maggie and Laurent's life the turns out for the best. After reading all eleven books in this series, I was happy to find this one to hold me over to #12.

Family woes

This was a sweet Thanksgiving story. Each family has issues. This story just confirmed the problems that can occur. Family is love, even when life's issues surround each of us.
