Loved that these classic Thanksgiving short stories were available free via the Hoopla app. I enjoyed the stories by Louisa May Alcott, Harriet Beacher Stowe, O. Henry, and L. M. Montgomery; I wasn't a big fan of the stories by Nathaniel Hawthorne or George Eliot.

This was interesting in that all of the authors are famous for other works in their own right. It was interesting that each wrote a short Thanksgiving themed story. Each has their own style and feel.

O Henry and Alcott are always favorites and I enjoyed the other selections as well. Quick read but perfect for the season.
