Compromised in Paradise is book three in the Compromise Me series by Samanthe Beck. I was so excited about this one. There have been so many little tidbits dropped regarding Rafe’s little sister, Arden St. Sebastian and I already was partially in love with the sexy Dr. Nick Bancroft. Put these two together and you pretty much have spontaneous combustion.
Arden needs a vacation, badly. Between work and running interference between her parents, she’s on overload. Then there’s the little matter of her almost blackmailer. So, she’s spending a week in Maui at the new hotel to both work and rest. The first night there she sees a man in the bar that instantly calls her attention. There’s just something about his hands. But after her recent experiences, she just wants to be anonymous, not the St. Sebastian hotel heiress. So she and the stranger agree to a no names agreement. She is a princess from Siberia and he is an astronaut. Mutual silly games, right? At first, yes, but as these two would discover over the next week, not so much.
What starts out as a very sexy night for Arden and Nick has a bit of a lackluster ending for Arden. Her brain just won’t shut off and she just can’t get there, you know, to the big happy ending. So instead of a one night stand, Nick offers her six days of orgasmic bliss. Six days to turn off her stress.
Nick most definitely knows his way around the female body and he does deliver on his promise in some very inventive ways. He also manages to get Arden out of her head, to just be. This series is very sexy but I think this one was the hottest. These two most definitely steamed up the pages. As the week wears on, though, they both begin to question their expiration date. But with no names involved, with the whole week being about make believe, it’s easier said than done.
If I had one complaint about this book, it was that at times, Nick’s approach to Arden’s “problem” was a bit too clinical. But, he IS a doctor after all. And he most definitely broke down her walls. One thing this series does have that I love is perfect endings. I love the way every book ended. You are guaranteed to walk away with a smile and all the warm and fuzzies you can handle. I loved my visit to Maui with Arden and Nick as well as the whole series. If you haven’t started yet, now is the perfect time. I hope you’ll love it too.
Samanthe Beck is steadily climbing up in my favorites lists. I really enjoy her main characters. The men are confident, dominant and sexy. The women are strong, independent and don't push away too much. That's a big deal for me! She even takes a storyline that isn't one of my favorites and has me liking it. This was a fast paced read with no other women/men drama, no cheating or abuse and you get to see the characters from the previous stories. ARC provided by NetGalley.

Summary (from Goodreads):
Stressed out hotel heiress Arden St. Sebastian is in Maui for one thing and one thing only. Work. But when the hottie at the bar buys her a drink to end all frilly umbrella-and-glow stick drinks, she can’t help but accept his unspoken invitation. When they get back to her villa, however, and the sexy moment of truth arrives, she can’t…quite…get there. Again.
ER resident Nick Bancroft can handle a night of fun, anonymous sex, but he draws the line at a fake orgasm. He makes his mystery woman a deal. He’ll take care of her little stress-induced orgasm problem if she’ll spend the next six days exploring the island with him, no questions asked.
A week of island relaxation on the arm of the sexiest man she’s ever met? Arden’s game. As long as she keeps her identity secret, she’s got nothing to lose…except her heart.
What I Liked:
This book was sexy, humorous, and so fun! Out of all of Beck's books - most of which are sexy, humorous, and fun - this is probably the most fun story she has written. I'm very happy with the love story she gave Arden, who is an amazing young woman. I adored Nick Bancroft, more than I did in the previous books. Together, they made an excellent pair.
Arden St. Sebastian is looking for a little relief. She has been stressed about so many things, including her father nagging her and taking over her personal life after her last relationship went south. Arden works hard and loves her job, but sometimes she is so overwhelmed. A week in Maui at one of her father's hotel properties should do the trick... especially when she meets a sexy stranger who is definitely her type. Nick Bancroft is good at his job, and very good at sex. It's lust at first sight when he sees this mystery woman at a bar one evening, and one thing leads to another. They only have a few days together, but they are going to make it count. But what happens when it stops being just sex, and becomes more? What happens when they find out the truth about each other?
From the start, this book was flirty and fun and sexy. The pair meet at a bar, but they don't give each other their names. They don't know who each other is. What's wild is that Arden has a date in six days with the nephew of the former owners of the property - and Nick has a date in six days with the daughter of the new owner. Wild, right? But Arden and Nick have no idea about each other, because throughout all of their interactions in this book, they don't give each other their names. It's part of the fun, making up a ridiculous identity and having fun with it.
Arden is a hard worker, and constantly stressed. So the arrangement works for her. She's usually a fun person, when she isn't stressed and nagged. She loves the purely physical relationship she has with Nick (she knows him as Rider).
Nick works hard at the hospital - he is a senior ER resident and he is looking to climb up the ranks. He doesn't do commitments, so meeting Arden is destiny. Nick is a good guy with a big heart. He is also charming, intense, and very sexy. He and Arden are great for each other, and they have a lot of fun together.
This book is all kinds of hot! Seriously, this has to be one of Beck's hottest books. There are a few kinky scenes, but I liked them just fine. I don't read a ton of erotica (just sexy romance) but I don't think this book crosses into the erotica territory, though it toes the line. Nick and Arden have great chemistry and that leads to some very passionate, sexy scenes. Their dynamic works well, with Arden liking to be handled, and Nick being an alpha male who likes to please.
I liked how involved Beck gets when it comes to writing about the protagonists' jobs. We know the ins and outs of Arden's job, and Nick's job. Their jobs are important to them, and Beck makes it appear so to the readers. Beck doesn't just make Nick an ER resident because hot doctors make great male protagonists - no, she does her research and makes sure that we know he is an ER resident and his job isn't a prop or a simple role. Same with Arden and her job.
The climax isn't as drama-filled as some romance novels, though there is some miscommunication and a tiny bit of drama. But it really isn't bad. The book ends very well for the pair! It's a HEA and the epilogue is so cute. I'm not sure if this is the end of the series, but it fills like it. I would be okay with that! The ending is lovely, for all three couples.
What I Did Not Like:
I can't think of anything specific! For once, I think this romance novel had the perfect amount of sexy times (usually that is my complaint with romance novels - they don't have enough).
Would I Recommend It:
I highly recommend this book - or any of Beck's books - if you're looking for steamy contemporary romance that is also a little on the fun and humorous side! Nothing dark and heavy in her books, no angst and minimal drama. Beck is so creative with the characters, their jobs, their lives, their problems. She is also suuuuuper creative with the sexy times. The books are very, very hot, you are warned!
Rating:
4 stars. I can't wait to read a new Entangled Brazen book by this author - hopefully she has more coming! I've enjoyed her old Entangled Brazen books and her new ones, and I'll definitely be looking out for future ones. She is an auto-read author for me!
I really enjoyed Compromised in Paradise by Samanthe Beck.
The storyline was well written, my interest was held all throughout the book and I loved Nick and Arden. They were smart, likable and endearing characters that entertained me with their antics and I loved watching them fall in love. They shared a strong attraction and the chemistry between them was smoking!
I love Samanthe Beck's writing, she gives her readers entertaining, steamy storylines and wonderful, memorable characters that never fail to leave you with a smile on your face. The Compromise Me series has been a great read, each book can be read as a standalone and I highly recommend them all.
Arden St Sebastian's stress levels are at an all time high. She needs a little me time and can't think of a better way to spend that me time than with a sexy stranger who has promised her unlimited life altering orgasns. Nicholas Bancroft is more than willing to be Arden's stress reliever but when these two come together they realize that if they let their guards down they could be so much more if they would just give each other a real chance. Arden and Nick's story was one hot read from start to finish. These two were so busy trying to keep things casual that they didn't even realize how good they were together until it was almost to late. The attraction was there from the beginning but after spending time with each other realize that they are just as good together outside of bedroom as well as inside the bedroom. Nick and Arden, when they met, didn't expect a love connection but who are they to deny fate? This was passionate romance with a good amount sarcastic humor that made for a great read and I give this one four stars.
Once again, Samanthe Beck has crafted a fun, sexy, smart, romance with characters I freaking loved. I adored everything about Nick and Arden, no doubt because of the fantastic writing from an author who gets better and better with each book. The meet cute in this story is one of my very favorites! Czarina and Luke Sky...rider = the best, funniest, cutest exchange ever, and should not be missed.
This was a fun, sexy vacation romp if I've ever read one. Arden and Nick keep their identities a secret from each other, which allows them to get to know each other on solely a physical level - and that get-to-know-you game is HOT. There were some times when I thought the plot was a little convoluted - why can characters in romance never communicate with each other?? - but on the whole, I really enjoyed this. A fun, fast read while I was also on vacation.
Thank you to the publisher for providing me an early copy of this book in exchange for am honest review.
Holy O's what a scorching read this is!! Grab a fan, a tall cold one and turn down the a/c for this book!
Arden works for her family's extreme luxury hotel business. Her father has retired and turned the day to day operations over to her brother. Her job is to go in and make the changes to scale up the resort, from the smallest of things to color schemes. She's good at what she does. What she's not good at is managing the endless stress from her father mainly which has translated into her inability to "get there"no matter what she does.
She's in Maui looking at the newest purchase when she spots a hot one having drinks with an older couple, she's only seen his back and she's already stripping him out of his clothes, when he comes to the bar where she's sitting a short time later, the minute they make eye contact, both of them are all in. Meanwhile her father-ever meddlesome has arranged for a date for her at the end of the week. "A nice young man, maybe suitable for her." Her father drove me absolutely to the edge. Not wanting to be seen as someone who's name=money, she gives him a made up name and he does the same. He's a little disappointed but he can handle it. When these two hit the sheets and she fakes her orgasm, he calls her out on it. She admits it and admits she has a problem. Her mystery man "Rider" is a Emergency Room Dr and also her date, neither of them know this.
So Rider makes Czarina a deal, they spend the next 6 days together and he guarantees her exactly what she wants and meanwhile they do things together every day. So as her delivers on his promise to her, his deal is she has to tell him her real name. She agrees. He really likes her and she likes him. He's avoided any kind of relationship since a college love went very wrong. But the more time these two spend together, the closer they get. He finds out who she is by accident when her brother shows up, but he plays along, he really wants her to tell him her real name on her own. These two do some pretty crazy stuff. Read the book. I can't even begin to tell you.
Well ya know all good O's must come to an end, when her mother shows up out of the blue, her father is scheduled to come in the next day and Rider is still not sleeping with her, just teasing her along. Things come to a head. No pun intended. Right. Not. He's been edging her and that hasn't helped her stress level and then, dontcha just know she finds out who he is and that he knows who she is.
And that friends is where I am going to leave you hanging because you have to read this book to get the twists and turns and what happens when people meddle in places they shouldn't and how much Arden needed to get her parents off her to do list. The parents story is one in itself. I really liked Nick, aka Rider. His character and actual caring for others. His ego takes a few hits, but he rebounds quickly and gets ride back on track. Arden I just felt bad for, she needed stress management, but her character was great. She was happy, liked the simple things in life and generous. They made a great couple. It's a great read. Indulge yourself for the end of summer beach read and get this book. I dream of Maui myself. Samanthe, when you get that private jet, I'd like a ride over to the island with you and the girls. Great book!! 4.5 Stars from me.

This was completely entertaining from front to back, and more than a little hot. Good storyline and I totally bought into both of the main characters' hesitations to show their true feelings. And did I mention it was HOT? Yeah, a steamy read for a steamy summer afternoon. 4 - 4.5 stars.
Compromised In Paradise is filthy good read. I enjoyed every minute of not only watching Arden and Nick go at it but also watching them fall for each other.
I definitely recommend it to those in the mood for a quick, dirty read with heart.

Samanthe Beck, NEVER disappoints. Her stories are always spicy, funny, refreshing... and oh so sexy.
Nick Bancroft, oh my, need a description? Orgasm whisperer. Because being hot, alpha, and a doctor just isn't enough. Which is what Arden needs considering the woman is stressed out. She needs a break from it all. Work. Family. Life in general. But she wants anonymity. No names. Six hot days under the Hawaiian sun. I think the good doctor has the right prescription for her.
Compromised in Paradise, the third in the series, is by far the sexiest. I thoroughly enjoyed it and read it in two sittings. I had a hard time putting the book down. Beck fans, be ready to blown away. You will LOVE Nick and Arden
Arden St. Sebastian has nearly reached her breaking point. Between playing intermediary for her parents and constantly fielding calls and texts from her father interfering in her personal and professional life, Arden is constantly stressed. So when she spies an incredibly gorgeous man while in Maui for work, she decides it’s time for a little play. Arden was recently burned by a boyfriend who tried to use and blackmail her, so she’s wary of letting this handsome stranger know her identity. So why not enjoy a little fantasy? No names, just one night of fun. Except she’s under so much stress that when things get hot, she isn’t able to fully, well, enjoy it.
Nick Bancroft has no problem going along with the stunning mystery woman’s plan. But when he realizes she’s faking it, he offers her a deal: he’ll help her with her problem if she’ll give him six days of relaxing and exploring Maui. If he succeeds, she’ll tell him her real name. If not, they can part strangers. Only things get more complicated once they realize that their island fling is starting to feel like something more.
Compromised in Paradise is h-o-t HOT. Samanthe Beck has delivered the ultimate fantasy vacation in Arden and Nick’s story. It’s a sensual, fun, wonderfully entertaining read.
Arden and Nick are both incredibly likeable characters, which makes it easy to fall into their romance. Past experience – and multiple reminders of what happened from her father – has made Arden wary of trusting someone to want her, not her name and connections. As for Nick, his past has made him sell himself short when it comes to relationships. While neither of them is looking for more than a one-night stand, when they start their adventure it’s clear that it won’t be long before they’re falling in love. The two of them have fantastic chemistry that makes the pages of Compromised in Paradise fly by. Their erotic adventures are seriously steamy – Nick definitely knows how to show a lady around Maui. But the quieter moments are just as important as the two of them come to realize that a few days in paradise will never be enough.
Compromised in Paradise is the third book in the Compromise Me series, but it can easily be read as a standalone. Fans of the first book, Compromising Her Position, will delight in getting a brief visit with Rafe St. Sebastian (the scenes with him and Arden make me smile). I’ve adored every book by Samanthe Beck that I’ve read and Compromised in Paradise is no exception. It’s sexy, flirty, and just plain fun to read.
FTC Disclosure: I received this book for free from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
Samanthe Beck set this one on fire. I'm talking lit a match and blew it up. Pour yourself a glass of wine and snitch a cigarette, because you're gonna need both by the time you've reached the happy ending. Better yet, grab the bottle, a pack, and prepare to be omazed.
It's lust at first sight for Arden and Nick, and they make the most of every moment of the no-strings week they have together. Arden craves a release from the job and family stress she's under, and Nick vows to deliver exactly what she needs. He keeps his promise, often and with great skill. Ahem.
Arden is confident and sassy, while Nick is a solicitous, uber-sexy, dirty-talking alpha. I loved them and the flirty banter they lobbed back and forth. Except for the harmless no-names game they lay down, they don't play games. They're up front about what they want and own it, which is refreshing. Well, until no-strings turns into something else altogether.
I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this story. It was a lighthearted vacation hookup, meant to be fun as well as super steamy. It was all that plus had a few discovery/growth moments for the MCs and secondary characters. Speaking of, most of the cast was from the previous books in the series. It was great fun seeing them again, which made me long to reread their books.
Beck has another hit with Compromised in Paradise. Days later I'm still thinking about this couple and feeling the effects of their sizzling chemistry. That's my definition of the perfect romcom crack. CiP can be read as a standalone, but the other books in the series are equally as awesome, so start with those and work your way up to this scorcher. It's not for the faint of heart, but you're gonna love it. ;)

After a bad situation with her last boyfriend, and tired of being the target of her overbearing father, Arden St. Sebastian needs to get away. A business trip to her family's hotel in Hawaii is her ticket to escape. And why not have a hot, wild anonymous fling with a hot guy while she's there? She's not looking for much... "A date? She didn’t need a date. She needed an escape. A sweaty, stress-relieving night of orgasms with absolutely no questions asked except which positions she preferred to receive them in. Hookups weren’t her usual MO, for a lot of reasons, but sweet baby Jesus…she needed to get laid."
Nick Bancroft is a busy doctor. Always the target of his aunt's matchmaking, he'd had enough. He wasn't looking for love... "He liked his relationships short, simple, and drama-free. The ER provided all the drama he needed." One night with a gorgeous tourist sounds perfect. When they run into a little problem, their one night turns into a vacation fling until Arden has to go home. I mean what woman could resist the dirty talking Nick? But dirty talk isn't all Nick is good at... he's patient, funny, fun to be with... total HEA material. What happens when the hot anonymous fling your having becomes so munch more?
This was a great read! It was fun, flirty and dirty! Arden is a fabulously strong and in-charge-of-her-life woman. Nick is alpha who has a heart of gold and is fun to boot! I love their banter. This is the perfect book to bring your summer to an end. And if you need a little motivation... Dr. Nick promises "I’m going to give you the kind of unrestrained fu<%#$g that guarantees you a flashback orgasm anytime someone asks if you had a good time in Maui.”

I will now and forever only ask for soul-deep, hurts-so-good, cry-for-mercy orgasms. It even SOUNDS life changing. This author packs a lot of talent under her belt. The only time I got slapped in the face that this was part of a series was in the epilogue and people were mentioned like I should know who they are. Otherwise, TOTAL standalone.
This review is based on the ARC provided by the author and/or the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for my honest opinion.
Now that's my kind of vacation relaxation goals. Arden is so stressed out, I'm surprised that it didn't make her sick. But boy, Nick sure does know how to handle stress. Compromised in Paradise would be a great book to take on holiday. Warning though, it might leave you a little bit needy.
I loved this story and the way the hero softened the heroine and wouldn't let her accept anything but the BEST from him...in every way. Samanthe Beck is one of my favorite authors! This story, like all of hers, is the perfect combination of sexy and emotional, with a sharp and sassy heroine and a swoon worthy hero.
Compromised in Paradise by Samanthe Beck is the third book in her Compromise Me series. Each book is a standalone story, but the characters are all linked in some fashion, either by friendship or family. The heroine of this one, Arden St. Sebastian is the sister of the hero in book one, a woman who finds herself caught up in a whirlwind vacation romance.
Arden is in Maui, staying at her family’s resort recently purchased to be part of the St. Sebastian hotel empire. She’s stressed out, with expectations on her from all sides whether it’s trying to keep her separated but never quite divorced parents happy, working with the hotel suppliers to get the right supplies for the rooms, or even just trying to chase down an orgasm in her down time – yet another facet of frustration in her life. When she meets the handsome stranger at the hotel bar with the biteable biceps and the self-confident attitude, the chance at a one night stand sounds oh so heavenly. It’ll hopefully give her some good memories to make up for the blind date at the end of the week, set up by her well meaning father as yet another stress to add to her life.
Nick Bancroft is in his medical residency at the local hospital when he meets the beautiful woman at the bar after agreeing with his aunt and uncle to a blind date they set up for him for the end of the week. No names, no expectations, just a hot night of no holds barred sex? Yes, please! When their night together proves to be less than satisfactory for Arden (not Nick’s fault!) Nick promises Arden that if she gives him a week, he’ll make sure she’ll leave her worries behind in the time she spends with him. They agree to nicknames only (Czarina and Rider) and no holds barred sex, with the end date clearly in sight. But can their week in paradise be the start of something long lasting?
I think the heat quotient of this series has ratcheted up with each book, because whoa baby, this one is hottt! Nick is out to prove to Arden that he can get her to let go of all the stresses on her mind and focus on them and is extremely successful at it. The catch is that the more time he spends with her, the more he’s starting to regret that he agreed to a sex only fling in the first place. He wants to know more about her, he wants her to trust him, and he wants to not just be an afterthought at the end of the week. Nick comes across as smart, fun, friendly, and a very generous lover with a big heart. He’s a great catch – if only he’d let Arden know he wants to be caught.
Arden is also a very likable character. The stress on her is clear, as is her desire to let things go when she’s with Nick. She also comes to regret the choice they made at the beginning to leave out the more personal details of their lives but sticks to their agreement. But Nick is also able to make her see that she needs to take more firm footing with her parents and find ways to stick up for herself and her needs better. The conflict in the story is fairly predictable since the reader knows about the blind date they’ve both been set up for, and what they are headed for at the end of the week. The story unfolds well and with plenty of steamy scenes between the couple, it makes for a highly enjoyable read. This one is definitely going on my re-read shelf! Compromised in Paradise is a sexy vacation romance with a sweet happy ever after ending.
Arden, a hotel heiress, is in Maui at a newly acquired hotel, but the beautiful scenery is almost lost on her as she's there for work. However, when the sexy man at the bar offers to buy her a drink, she accepts it, and the subtle invitation for more. Unfortunately, despite his skills, she can't achieve completion.
Nick, an ER resident, is intrigued by the gorgeous woman at the bar and decides to see what can come of it. When the night doesn't go as either had hoped, Nick, knowing she's essentially stress-blocked, offers to help in exchange for more time with her. Both have also agreed to not share real names, therefore they are known as Rider and Czarina.
Arden agrees to the temporary arrangement, and eagerly embraces the fun they're bound to have. Since her last relationship ended badly, her Dad has tried to be supportive in her personal life, but his idea is to set her up on a date with the former hotel owner's nephew, Nick, which coincides with the end of her time with Rider. Rider grows disappointed as his escape with Czarina is ending, but he agreed, for his aunt and uncle, to a blind date of sorts with the new owner's daughter, Arden. But, as they've spent time together, true feelings have begun growing, as is their wish that more was possible.
Will Rider be able to help Czarina relax and have fun? Has Nick met the one woman capable of changing his view on commitment? What happens when Rider and Czarina must part ways? How will they react upon meeting again as Nick and Arden? Can Nick and Arden continue to their flint as an actual relationship? Will Arden stand up for herself to her father? Is a HEA for these two?
One-click now and follow along as two people meet by chance, only to discover fate was in control the whole time.
**I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.**
Received an ARC for my fair review for netgalley. This was the second book in the series, so I will go back and read the first one which was about Rafe, because I have to know what happened. Anyway, this one was about Arden and Nick. Arden is immediately attracted to Nick, even from across the room, but she has such bad luck with men that she is wary of entering in any relationship with him. Nick wants a one night stand with Arden, nothing else, so he proposes a mutual benefit of not stating any fact, no names, no info, and Arden agrees, but the night does not progress as planned and Nick wants more time with Arden, and asks for her whole six days, and she agrees but still no info, and then he gets frustrated because he wants more. and he never wants more. Then her crazy family comes, she finds out who he really is, and thinks he plays her, vice versa, misunderstanding occur, but we have our HEA.
Urghhh, this was a really contrite and formulaic story for me. I didn't like Auden or Nick. They both lied and didn't use their names. The misunderstandings that ensued were of their own making and Auden's family situation was so old fashioned and bizarre.
Arden has had a hard time finding the right person to date, her social status seems to get in the way and most guys can't see past her family name. Until Rider, he is a mystery and she loves every second of the anonymity he has provided her with.
One week, six dates and the promise of the best sex she has ever had, what could possibly go wrong?
Nick doesn't do commitment and this arrangement with this sexy woman seems like a great plan, until he realises that maybe a week is too short for him to be able to get his fill on this mysterious creature.
Watching them fall for each other while they were busy having the greatest and kinkiest sex ever was super entertaining and fun. They were perfect for each other in every way possible.
Arden needed to enjoy life again and appreciate the little things and Rider needs to trust people again, opening his heart won't be an easy task but he might be in for a surprise if he takes the leap.
A beautiful story, and two amazing and fun characters. Prepare to fall for this dominant alpha male and his kinky methods for the ultimate soul-deep, hurt so good, cry for mercy cure for stress orgasm.
Brazen titles are expected to be on the erotic side, and to be focused on sex and moving from one sexy encounter to the next. And, this one was exactly that, but with the fun twist of Nick helping Arden work through her stress related inability to have an orgasm.
I thought the premise was fun, and it gave the movement from one sex scene to the other a reason, and it gave the story more plot than a lot of the more erotic titles. It also matters that you really like Nick and Arden, you want to get to know them, and you want things to work out for them (even if that does mean her father is right).
The writing was good and the pacing worked, the sex scenes were placed with enough romance and enough character development that they moved the story along. And, the sex is hot...which is important for a more erotic story.
Was this the most emotionally wrenching book I have ever read? No. Was it a good time with a couple of likeable characters and some really hot sex? yes.
I knew going into this book Arden and Nick' s story would not be one of my favorites. Neither character really intrigued me in the other book. This book and their story definitely proved my previous thoughts correct. The story was just boring and silly, the characters were not interesting or entertaining. I found myself doing other things to avoid reading this, anyone who is a bookaholic like myself knows that's the kiss of death for a book! The story boring, the romance equally boring with little connections to each other or the reader. I could not wait to finish this book just to be done! This is definitely not a recommended read unless your into self torture, if so read on my friend, as for me it is a hard pass on this series!
There was so much to like about Compromised in Paradise. It’s set in a beautiful place, Nick Bancroft is a ridiculously sexy hero, Arden is a great leading lady and their deal for the week is a ton of wicked fun. There is instant chemistry between Nick and Arden, there’s no doubt that they are going to light the sheets on fire…or whatever surface they end up on. But for some reason, Arden can’t seal the deal, there’s too much going on in her head, so she fakes her orgasm and hopes that the stranger above her will be none the wiser…except he is.
I love that both of these characters were onboard for a fun, no name, one-night stand, but when that didn’t quite work out the way Nick had planned, he opened the door with a promise for more. I quite enjoyed their week together and the fact that they were still strangers through it all, yet obviously falling for each other. Nick is so delicious and I loved his dirty talking ways. Their flirty banter was perfect.
I really enjoyed this book. Now I need to go back and read the other two books in the series. I own them, I just haven’t had a chance to read them yet. If they’re anything like this one, I know I won’t be disappointed.
