I’m a witch. Not a good one or a bad one, although according to the snooty wizards, I’m a stain upon their robes.
But who cares what those snobs say?
I’ve got a job to do; stop demons from infiltrating Earth and killing all the witches. Concentrating on my job is hard, though.
First, the guy who’s decided he’s going to help me is hotter than Arizona in the summer. Like seriously, melt-my-panties-into-ash sexy.
Second, demons are targeting witches such as me because, apparently, we’re a tasty snack.
Finally, the kitten I adopted has gone missing, and if I’m not mistaken, a demon stole it.
If there’s one thing you should never do is mess with a witch’s pussy. I don’t care who I have to fight to get my furball back! And if I fall in love along the way…then it will at least get my mother off my back.
Hello, my name is Eve Langlais and I am an International Bestselling author who loves to write hot romance, usually with werewolves, cyborgs or aliens .
I should warn you, I have a twisted imagination and a sarcastic sense of humor something I like to let loose in my writing. While well known for my shifter stories, I am also extremely partial to aliens, the kind who like to abduct humans and then drive them insane...with pleasure. Or do you like something a little darker, more serious? Then check out my cyborgs whose battle with humanity have captivated readers worldwide.
"A Demon Stole My Kitty" is the story of Willow and Alistair.
A fun read with a feisty heroine and an up-to-no-good hero. She's a witch, a high priestess who actually not that, he's supposedly a wizard, but actually, not that too. A group of crazy demons are on a rampage, her coworkers are discriminative, her fluffy kitty is kidnapped, her own coochie kitty wants her new almost boss and her mother is up to no good- hell bent on matchmaking her! They go on a crazy ride, where supernatural and the humans meet, secrets are revealed and eventually babies are made.
You really shouldn't mess with a witch's pussy cat.
I absolutely loved this book. I mean oh my lord. I laughed and laughed absolutely out of this world good. All of this authors books are great she does such a good job with the characters and the story line. All the story lines are fresh and the characters are absolutely druel worthy. Willow is a witch that's going on a demon hunt oh my. Alistair is a wizard with more secrets than a politician. When these two come together to hunt demons it's on like donkey Kong. She thinks he's arrogant he can't figure out why she just won't give in. When things come a head they'll have to come together to save the world. I loved this book.
Hands down the best book of the series yet! The “Werewolves, Vampires and Demons, Oh My” series continues with book three, and the witch we met in book 2, Willow. After the strange events at Mr. Peabody’s cannibalistic house, we know the demons are not going down easily. They are running amok and killing witches. Why? Because they are tasty, of course!
Willow is working with the TDCM to figure out the demon issue (that is, when they condescend to let her in the front door). Those snooty wizards have no use for a mere witch, and make sure she knows it. They wouldn’t know how to solve the problem with two hands and a flashlight, but still they refuse her help. Whatever. Willow has a bigger concern in that her kitten has disappeared, and has more than likely been possessed or eaten by a demon.
Enter Alistair – hotter than hot, smoother than smooth, and a puzzle waiting to be solved. When he takes over the investigation, he realizes the benefit to having Willow on his team – despite the position of previous lead investigating wizard. Together they have to find the source of the demon infestations, and shut it down before the world is overrun. Hidden powers, secret identities, and an overwhelming family bring a richness to the story that will keep you guessing until the very end.
Willow is part human part witch. She knows what happened with Mr. Peabody but the TDCM don’t want her involved. Alistair is a high end wizard that has come to find out what is going on. It doesn’t hurt that he takes one look at Willow and sees something more. His flirting to winner her over works but things are more crazy they then both thought.
First off, you never are too sure if Alistair is a wizard or not. He has so many strengths. He was like nothing imaginable. At times, I thought he was a vampire then a wizard, then a sorcerer. It was a shocker to find out what he was. I had a bit of an idea but I was hoping I was wrong. And I loved that Willow finally got to show her true self. Her family is crazy but you have to love them. And Morpheus, what a jerk. Willow should have punched him in the beginning. When things come to a head at the end, boy so much comes out, literally. I hope that the Willow's brothers get a book too.
Willow Johnson, High Priestess of her Coven, had been part of the investigation into demon activity. After the Peabody house burned to the ground, she was shut out of the five investigation. Alister Fitzroy, has been sent to take over the investigation of demon activity. Bumping into Willow, is an unexpected pleasure. He needs her help. Willow enters into a partnership with Alister. The demons seem to be targeting them both. Willow doesn't trust Alister,, he is more than what he says he is. Willow has her own secrets too. When all he'll breaks loose, literally, Willow learns Alister's secret. Nothing like a demon invasion to bring the magical community together. Nothing is going to stop Alister from making Willow his. Loved Willow and Alister, A fun fast paced, steamy, romantic suspense. Loved Willow's family. Hoping her brothers get their own stories.
Eve Langlais' books are always a really great, fun read and A Demon Stole My Kitty was no exception!!
Creatures from another realm out to take over the world, demonic possessions, snotty wizards, sassy witches, an adorable ginger kitten and a couple of supernatural beings with a few secrets all add up to a laugh out loud, action packed, hot and sexy paranormal read that I adored and read in an evening (I couldn't put my kindle down!!)
I purchased the other two books in the Werewolves, Vampires and Demons, Oh My! series on their respective release days but for whatever reason (that I'm still trying to figure out!) I haven't yet gotten round to reading them but after finishing this read today that's something that I'll most definitely be resolving in the very near future!!
This is a 5* read in my opinion and another hit from Ms Langlais!!!
Most embarrassing moment you're in the kitchen with you're mom and she tells you what are you waiting for you like him I see it why don't you sleep with him mind you the man in question is right behind her. Oh snap!
I think the brothers should get their own book. Just putting it out there. This, ecstasy pace story. I knew,I loved Willow in Peabody's story. One question though, his her and Brenda kinda related through meemaw? Alistair was not what or who I thought he was ,well yeah he,was. I kept going back and forth on that. You're changing demons who want / witches blood to survive and you decide to bring your partner over to eat dinner with your parents and six brothers. What do you expect? Do you finally get street cred for hanging out with the big wig or what? All this while still fighting and solving the demon issue.
Short and funny. Not funny funny but cute funny. To be honest, I read this a few days ago and I already can't remember the characters' names. There's stuff about earth aligning allowing demons through, but some demons are already through, and there's lots of supernatural types with different amounts of power (some of that was unclear), and they're still mostly hidden but people know about them (also a bit unclear), and there's a shortage of women so there's some not entirely clear marriage and relationship stuff in the worldbuilding, and even though there's bad guys everything works out happy in the end including fate of the kitty from the title. Granted, some of my confusion probably comes from this being the 3rd book in the series having not read the previous 2. Anyway, it's cute, fluffy paranormal romance. It was a nice palate cleanser between darker books.
This has been my favorite in the whole series. I thought it was clever and funny and kept me engaged through the whole books. Willow is feisty, smart, and independent without being too caught up in her own power – in other words she’s not a jerk about it. Alistair is one hundred percent alpha. But he’s the good kind of alpha, using his overbearing powers on behalf of our heroine, mostly not against her. Maybe it was having read the previous one immediately before it, but Alistair wasn’t as big a surprise to me as I think the author was going for. I was a little disappointed that the author chose to end the book by saddling our fierce independent heroine with such a “girly” ending as impending motherhood. It was a cute ending, but woman can be many other things too.
So what do you do if your newly rescued kitten gets out and doesn't come home? Especially if there is a good chance its body has been taken over by a demon? Why tickle it under the chin and hug it of course!
Yes its demons versus witches - and sorcerers - and all sorcerers are male misogynists - or are they?
A feisty witch (human and not having magic blood - or so the sorcerers claim) sets out to show the males just how demons should be fought. And how you can love some, and they will be faithful to you. See kitty!
Great fun story. Lots of humour and snark. And yes, the males get shown up by the females!
This book book interesting with all the different species. Some hidden and some having come out and trying to get along with humanity. Demons plotting to invade and take over the Earth. Hot love scenes with a witch who is more than she seems and a Wizard with a dark secret. I gave it only Four stars because I wish there was more back story to Willow and the friends she made amongst the supernatural beings in her world. I do hope there is a story based around Marcus in the future ❤️❤️❤️. Enough of my ranting. Read the book. It's a fun quick read. Third, and hopefully not last, in the Vampires Werewolves and Demons, Oh my! series.
Willow is hilarious. I laughed so much during this book. Wizards look down on witches. They say that because of the human aspect of their DNA, they aren't good enough. Willow is one such witch that wants those wizards to get over themselves so they can work on this particular case. Demons killing and eating witches. When they push her to the side, a man named Alistair decides to help her. He is hotter than the Arizona desert in July. Can he help her solve the case or will his smile melt her into a puddle of goo.
I just love this series. The blend of comedy, heat, a little mystery is perfect. I was glued to the page. There was a few twists I didn't see coming, a few I did. Morpheus was a pompous ass who got what he deserves, but somehow I think he will come back, people like that are just too crazy to go away. I would love for the storyline to pick up with one of the brothers. Maybe a little back piece of the mom and dad’s forbidden tryst. If you haven't read the series yet, what are you waiting for. Go get them all. You wont be dissapointed.
So this book was definitely better then book 2 as I really enjoyed this female character she was strong and capable with a quick mind and definitely holds her own against other magical creatures.
The romance was cute it evolved naturally and he didn’t feel threatened by her powers, they worked well together as a team.
The daemon storyline was interesting enough this book didn’t have as much comedy or spice as book 1 unfortunately it was like book 2 where nothing really happens until the end of the book.
After the events of the demonic possession and disappearance of the Peabody house Willow is supposed to be helping the wizards investigate. Alistair can’t understand the prejudice against witches, especially the cute little red head he is trying to get information from.
These two made me giggle. Ms Langlais has done it once again with a couple that will make you giggle and swoon. And don’t forget all the antics in between.
This book is filled with excitement, danger, action, sexual situations, humor, secrets and a touch of romance. This author has a vivid and strange imagination that constantly keeps you riveted to her books. Her descriptions are so detailed you feel you are in the scene watching the characters. Her sense of humor brings life and levity to her characters. As always an awesome book.
A Demon Stole my Kitty (Werewolves,Vampires and Demons On My book 3) by Eve LANGAIS
Oh yes Eve the Brothers definitely need their own unique story!!! Absolutely love Eve's humor and story telling abilities that are fully entertaining and sexy too! Can't wait for more to follow!!! Great Reading!!! I Highly Recommend this Series and all of Eve's books you can't go wrong with any of them!!
I have yet to read anything written by this author that I haven't A) Loved B) Laughed out Loud C) Recommended
As with most of if not all her books the men are hot, the women smart sassy and independent without emasculating their men. Well at least not intentionally. With a wickedly witty sense of humor thought, the story is fluid, the characters expounded upon, and with Happily Ever Afters. This was a joy to read.
However, I really hope Willow’s brothers get stories. There are definitely some questions to be answered, like who the guys work for, and how the wizard organization is going to be restructured. I loved the revel about her kitty. I liked how the big battle played out.
I think they need a good bar/social venue to hang out at, where all the groups could mingle more than once a year.
Loved this series. But I would have loved it if all 3 stories were tied in together at the end. Since it ended up being family with Brenda, Meemaw and Alistair it would have been tied in so perfectly. I would love to read stories on the 6 brothers as well. I loved the characters and storyline very much. Willow and Alistair were great characters. I called it with Alistair but not the family link. Now on to the next series. 😊😊😊😊😊💜💜💜💜💜🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
What is a girl to do if someone steals her cat? Find him of course!
Join Willow, a beautiful young Witch, in her hunt for her missing cat. Along the way she meets a handsome young Wizard (who may be more than he seems), demons who want to eat her. Plus six brothers who can't keep their noses out of Willow's business. Not to be missed.
Loving this series!!! With plenty of humor, steamy romance, and of course you throw in some mystery and you have a enjoyable entertaining read. There was a few OMG moments that I didn't see coming. I'm looking forward to reading more in this series especially if it's going to be about Wiillows brothers.
I love the demon fighting heroine, her cat and her family!! I have read every book by Ms. Langlais I can find. They are all great reads. Each is unique; not just the same story in another setting. The characters are layered and real like people you are getting to know. And the irreverence makes the stories!!
I am always amazed at the completed stories where all I have to ask is ... when is the next one coming? As usual, Ms Langlais, fully immersed me in a world of delight, intrigue, and a bit of horror. I very much want to read the brothers story but maybe Kai's too?
Willow is the head of her coven. After her cat is stolen, she meets Alistair, a powerful sorcerer. Together they fight demons who are killing witches. Both have a secret. I like the banter between Willow and Alistair. There is action, danger and a very cute kitty. I recommend this ti anyone who likes paranormal stories.
Ohh, I love some good twists and turns in a story, and this one had lots! It also had two very determined people, revealing little bits of things at a time, while working towards the same goal, so they think. Part opposites attract married with forced to work together, all set with paranormal activities, it was fast paced and kept me on my toes throughout!
Loved all the snarky comments and thoughts of both main characters. Hope to see more books about All the brothers. Eve keep up the wonderful funny and exiting books. Your books always have a nice flow to the story and so entertaining. This was such a fun read. Really surprised about Alistair's reveal.
Out of the three books in this series I found this one to be the least fun. The FMC and MMC fell a bit flat for me and I found that story didn’t hold up to the playfulness and light hearted tone I was expecting after listening to the other two. Not a bad book but I did find it a bit boring (which I’m surprised by, again I enjoyed the tone of the other two quite a bit!)
This book is among my very favorites. I loved the unexpected twists and turns. I love it when I can't guess what happens next. I hope that Willows brothers get their own stories. Loved the kitty demon as well. So unexpected and refreshing.
