很好地体现出了educator's education的特定版本的教育观念。是写给大学教育学院本科生的综合性读本。围绕authentic education,把学习的不同维度区分开:社会历史背景、情境、课室、……以及大脑的运作。优点是掰地很系统,方方面面都谈到。但难免机械教条。后来还有第二版,以及配套网站上有很多视频讲解,给学生上课不错。
