Another brilliantly brutal tale of revenge. This one was a bit more disturbing because of the content matter, (rape) but was written really well. I thoroughly enjoyed this book......now onto book 3 😁

3.5⭐️ This is book 2 of the Mr.Snuff series. This is the story of a girl named Misty. She’s brutally attacked. She develops an unlikely friendship with a girl named Kendra. Together they seek the ultimate revenge. This book started off really good but then began to drag. I felt like I was reading book 1 all over again from a females perspective. Overall it wasn’t as good as book 1 for me but not boring enough that I won’t read book 3.

Misty violently sexually assaulted, so traumatised she is convinced to buy a gun and let her life get back on track. She follows a lecherous, deviant guy and without much thought but her own suffering pumps bullets into him spraying blood out like a fountain. Her murder was justified to herself. Misty will check out the sex offenders list in her area and pays them visits. Knowing a gun would be too loud in the apartment block she stabs a man in the back, throws boiling oil on him and squashes the hot pan on his face making sizzling bubbling sounds and bashes it in repeatedly, blood raining like water on a windscreen. Another pervert has his testicle cut off and shoved in his mouth. Her end game is to find her attacker and Mr Snuff. She approaches the underground maze of hell, the soundproofed chamber of depravity. Bullets unleashed. Actually quite tame for Jon.

Mr. Snuff was good, but Ms. Vengeance was on a whole other level.

Everything in this book was executed perfectly. Jon Athan did a fantastic job at writing Misty’s character, who I believe is one of the best characters in any of his books. He took a lot of time and effort with creating an impactful story. Extreme horror authors - take notes!!!

The well thought out story built up to an incredible ending. This book will stick with me for a while!

Hearing a lot of good things about the final 2 books of the series and if they’re just as good as this one then sign me up!

I was so disappointed in this book in comparison to the first. I found it really dragged for me and Misty's reaction to the whole situation just didn't add up for me. I just much preferred the first 🤷🏻‍♀️
Ah well...onto book 3😅

A young innocent woman is gang raped and seeks out her own revenge and I was really supportive of Misty UNTIL I really wanted to smack her for totally going off in a different direction for a reason I still don't understand.
I couldn't shake her illogical reaction to a situation and it made me change my mind about Misty and what I hoped for her....confused? YEAH so am I😏 this story was number 2 of 4 in the snuff series so onward I go.

Absolutely loved, loved, loved this story, obviously super brutal and gory at points but the lead character is very easy to empathise with and I loved seeing her character develop throughout this book, again this book is leading to a fantastic finalè.

wow I mean… wow

I thought the first book was good (Mr.snuff) but this book was literally THE SHIT I couldn’t put it down even tho it was at often times extremely triggering of my own trauma, but I continued on because when you go through something like myself or like misty your pain eventually turns into anger, pure hatred. And it was so satisfying to watch misty get her lick back one by one. Oh how I wish she was a real person and I could be her next partner in crime. This book was so good!!! Another phenomenal authoring Jon!!

I have only read six or seven books by this author, and not only is Ms. Vengence my favorite so far, but it has set me on a course to binge read many of his others. I am on a roll, and I feel a sense of urgency to finish The Snuff Network so that I can continue on to his other books, while another part wants me to slow down and savor each chapter. Fortunately, I don't need to choose. Once you get on the rollercoaster, you relinquish your autonomy to the ride controller. In this case, his name is Jon Athan, and I couldn't be happier to be a part of his captive audience.

Very accurately and quite graphically depicts the pain, humiliation and rage of a sexual assault victim. Although it is not right, it is easy to see how a woman could become a vigilante wielding the supposed sword of justice in these types of circumstances. You can't help but to find a part of yourself rooting for Misty, even though what she does is wrong.

This is a standalone but is also loosely tied to the "Mr. Snuff" scenario.

Loved this book the 2nd in the Snuff Network of 4 books. I actually read the 3rd book Dr. Sadist which was really gruesome sad in away but very good. It doesn’t appear to matter the order you read them as reassured by the author they are all standalone books. Ms. V was a really good read and you start her journey and follow her story as it’s brought to life, it’s a very good read and hard to put down once your past the beginning chapters and then it’s full on.

Part 2 in this series also a standalone. You can read part 1-3 in any order.
Ms Vengeance was inspired by a popular cult movie from the 1970s, I spit on your grave. I don't want to go into detail but you could watch the movie are there is a newer reboot with sequels.
So I already read part 3 and now part 2. Misty and the Doctor are both heading to Japan in kill Wu, the owner and president of this snuff industries. I'm hoping they will be able to work together.

The snuff network I think is my fav Jon Atham books so far, but preferred the other books in the series to this one. I just didn’t warm to her as the main character. But she is an important part of the overall story.

Nothing bad to say about this author

I've read a handful of books by Jon athan at this point and I can honestly say I find it hard to put them down once I start reading. I'm a big horror fan and I am quite impressed with his writing. Every book has kept my interest and I have yet to be disappointed. Keep up the great writing.

Again I'm hooked

Another great read by Jon athan. He hooks you in and doesn't let you go. This is my 4th book by him this week alone, and will be starting my 5th. If you liked Mr. Snuff, you will love this one as well.
