A ticking clock…

A visit to ancient caverns with my Spellslingers classmates yields a find that leads to danger, both in and out of the paranormal realm. When I'm accused of a crime I didn't commit, a king grants me one week to prove my innocence or face the sword. With Callan by my side, the werewolf and I make our way through strange lands to gather the evidence we need and, in the process, uncover a plot that threatens thousands of lives, including our own.

Can I stop a war before it begins or am I destined to suffer the same fate as those I failed to save?

An exciting and intense magical urban fantasy

An intense magical urban fantasy. Great cast of characters. For college age which is going to spell slingers school of magic. Were they are training to be guardians of the magical world. In this world you have pockets of the world that are hidden from mortals and in the sprockets supernatural beings live. Supernaturals can go back-and-forth between the supernatural air is in the human areas but for the most part humans cannot enter the hidden magical areas. Follow along in each set of books one of the four witches is reaching her potential and stretching her ability do use magic. Each time they must solve a crime or some other chaotic happening that somehow they get involved in. With the help of their friends and on their own. Check them out
There are multiple series written in this world and on occasion they interact with each other. Annabel Chase writes all of the different series and they are all extraordinarily entertaining and chargers from one to the other will crossover on occasion. Check them all out

Another fun read by Annabel Chase. This is second of two books in the Enforcer of the East series and 8th out of 10 in the Academy of Magic series. I enjoyed this book and especially appreciated the MCs strength in spite of her concerns and fears. Her desire to help was great and fit with her character's "Mom" nickname. An earth witch and a nurturer, she's always taking care of those around her. She spills her greatest secret and discovers acceptance both from her new boyfriend and her roommates.

Love between wolf and witch

I loved the story of cerys and callens love together they could defeat anything that comes there way especially when cerys finds a rock that had a djinn trapped inside and after she tried to release him only that it failed ultimately killing him and having his king and queen accuse her of killing him not knowing that it was actually cursed with a death spell also to keep him from ever escaping and her having to prove she wasn't the one it's a must read to find out who was the responsible party

Good storyline

The storyline is imaginative and engrossing, there’s a mild romantic theme and the book is readable. But I feel the characters need more development. They’re ok and can be identified as individuals but I didn’t feel immersed in the book and invested in them.
Ideal read for young adults but not anyone older.

An affinity for rocks? Must be an earth witch!

When Cerys picks up a black opal from a river bed, she never expected it would lead her to a rarely visited realm - that of the djinn.

Being there requires a level of diplomacy that Cerys didn’t know she had. But, she finds it and executes it.

Fast pace. Great story.

Never a dull moment

Never a dull moment. We have romance. We have travel to a new realm. We have a pending war and king and queens. And plenty of wit and magic battles. What more could u ask for? I for one hope the stories never end.

This was a fascinating look into another aspect of the magical world and gave Cerys another chance to prove her chops - and in a different territory, no less. This was an exciting and intriguing adventure for Cerys and Callan. Very enjoyable.

Cerys Comes Into Her Own

This is the final book in Cerys’ story, and trust me, Ms Chase saved the best for last! What a wild roller coaster ride of thrills and chills! Fasten your seat belts kids, ‘cause it’s going to be a bumpy ride, but we’ll worth the price of admission!

Great story, that deals with mental health and overcoming. Well thought out story even though you will figure out the culprit quickly by design, you will need to read through for the real reason. Great way to get Cerys’ story!

Another great series

I am always so sorry to see the end of a series but the brilliance of this author is that they all follow on from a central beginning!

Great Reinforcement and continuation.

This is more about the people met in the first book. It is refreshing to know each one has their own stories.
