Conquering the Fear

4.5 stars - 💖💚💖
Tallulah has been through the wringer with everything that's gone on with her ex. This installment starts with heartbreaking news for Jarrod and the rest of her chosen family as Tallulah was rushed to the hospital and undergoes surgery. Near the end, another trip to the hospital happens for one of them. (Thankfully, less dramatic!)

'I've never been so scared of anything in my whole life than I am right now of losing her.' -- Jarrod Thorpe

With Jarrod's unwavering support, Tallulah is able to face her biggest nightmare and finds an emotional way to move forward and help others. The display of her artwork is a tear-jerker of an event so be prepared with tissues! And what happens at the end of the viewing is absolutely perfect! 💚😢💚🥳

I have loved this series, definitely including this installment, but I'm sad to see the end of the road for their story. There is a bonus epilogue that is sweet and heartwarming but I want MORE. 😘

I listened to an author copy of this book. I like the narrator, Vera Zweig, but would've preferred two narrators to add more vocal depth to the characters. Also, there were a lot of editing issues - jumps, volume, and speed changes (chapter four is a great example of this). I've listened to it on two different devices with the same results. While it's disappointing, I couldn't stop listening because I love this story. 😍🥂

Story: 4.5 stars
Narration: 3 stars (dropped rating due to editing issues)

I enjoyed this story the most out of this series. My heart broke and I cried buckets but this is the most healing of them all. I love the strength of Tallulah and the love of Jarrod. They are the perfect match and they make you smile. The gallery scene had me crying ugly tears but that by far was the best.

I read and reviewed a copy of this book.

Finally peace for Talulah and Jarod.
It’s year from the time they meet and everything falling in place. It is wonderful ending with some streak of fun.
Great friends, great support from family too. It feels almost like you became part of their life.
But everything has an end, this one is happy one.

This author knows just how to write a story that not only draws you in but holds you until the last page. I literally couldn't put this book down. Maybe just maybe with an arrest made and Tullulah recovering they can move on. This isn't an easy phase for them but as it all comes together, their friends, the hearing and sentencing, and life, maybe they finally can be at rest and enjoy themselves. Of course nothing comes easy for these two but love and support kick in when they need it most. Love these two and that after it all they finally get their hea. Nothing is every easy for this authors characters. They are real. They are flawed. They are strong and resilient. This author makes you work through all types of emotions and why I love her books. The series is an emotional roller coaster and was an amazing ride.

Such an emotional read. I actually cried while reading this story, but that is what I love about stories that make me emotional, they can actually bring real feelings out of me and I feel like I know what the characters are feeling. I'm glad Tallulah and Jarrod got their happy ending. This was such a good read. It was emotional but also fun as well. I loved the relationship between Tallulah and Jarrod, and the chemistry they had was great. Can't wait to read the next story. I totally recommend this series. Even though this is book 3 of 4, it is movie conclusion of Tallulah and Jarrod's story. Cameron gets the next one. Out of all the interconnected stories I've read so far in this world, Tallulah and Jarrod were the only ones that I wasn't sure if they'd get a happy ending. I'm glad to know now that they do. After all the trauma and heartache, healing and HEA was made possible. I loved this story and would definitely recommend it (starting at book 1).

I have loved Tallulah and Jarrod since I began reading their story in book one of this series and my love grew stronger for them and their story while reading this book. This is my favorite of the series so far. Their connection has always been strong and undeniable, but seeing them survive the ups and downs together and get the happy ending they both deserve was beautiful. 💕💕

All the feels in this heartfelt romance. Wonderful characters and a great conclusion to the Intimacy series. The London series of books have all been excellent and this is no exception. Such a harsh topic to tackle but done with respect and realism. My only regret is that I didn’t get this one in audiobook because it would have just sounded awesome with the narrator from the previous books.

Tallaugh was a great character. The emotional connection she has with so many characters gave this book a very intimate feel. Her relationship with Jarrod was something everyone wishes they had in real life. Well written and very moving this is a series you don't want to miss. Recommend

The third book in the trilogy begins where book 2 ended. Jarrod is on edge, not wanting to lose Lou, knowing he hasn’t had enough time with her. Of course, it wouldn’t be much of an HEA if part of the couple didn’t make it, but their trials are far from over, as Lou works through recovering from yet another trauma inflicted by her ex. The infinitely patient and loving Jarrod makes all the right moves, gives her time and space, but refuses to let her walk away. Love is strong enough, in the end, to help heal and move forward. I really enjoyed how their relationship progressed and moved forward, a very sweet love story, with a healthy dose of steam.

After dreadful accident time for even bigger trial - go into court and revive all this awful past. Lots of stress but even more of love, support and care. Everyone was there for Tallulah, but the most Jarrod of course. This series told story of rape victim., from feeling dirty, to not want to go through telling this everyone to police and then in court, in front of so many people. From being the victim to being a fighter and taking back your life.
