The General

Rate this book
Everyone in Navesink Bank knows about Senator Ericsson’s son, his wife, and the story that hit headlines that eventually led to one of the Mallick boys going to jail for assault.

What became of that woman after being coerced into lying on the stand was unknown.

That was until late one night when a phone rang in the offices of Quinton Baird & Associates.

And her voice was on the other end of the line.

Title: ➳ ❤- The General
Series ➳ Professionals Series 4#
Author: ➳ Jessica Gadziala

Publication November 20th 2018

Jennifer/ Jenny/ Jen Ericsson is the Senator Ericsson's daughter-in-law.
So, we first met Jenny in Eli Mallick’s book. Teddy had beaten his wife half to death & Eli Mallick safe Jenny’s life that night, but jenny had lied on the stand & that led to Eli Mallick being sent to jail

So, as you imagine, one night after one too many beatings Jenny snaps & needs the help of Quinn's team.

Smith (AKA) The General, he was the one they called in for the butt-whoopings, the intimidation, the strong-handing cases, but since Quin was out of town for the entire month on vacation. Smith was second in command ….. So had the pleasure of trying to fix Jennifer Ericsson’s problems

Oh my gosh, I cry so damn hard when I heard Jenny’s story!
I love how JG sneak in two more characters
I can’t wait to find out more about Bellamy that man that seems to drug pretty much everyone he meets & Nia aka The Hacker.

💖 Hope you enjoy this read 💖

⬇Always remember⬇

📚 Hope you enjoy this read & also always keep in mind this is just my opinion+ Also I wouldn’t never discourage anyone from reading this book.

Yay I’m slowly but surely making my way through this Navesink Bank Universe, or so I thought

How much abuse is too much? Jennifer Ericsson has reached her limit and as the daughter-in-law of a well-known politician, she needs help, the kind one can only get from Quinton Baird & Associates. The kind that requires delicate handling and slightly unique techniques, the company specialty. Enter the General, Noah Smith with his eye for precise details and planning.

Prepare yourselves for Jessica Gadziala’s latest, THE GENERAL. Does abuse make you boil? Do you question how it can happen over and over again? What makes a woman continue to be a punching bag? What will it take to finally break the cycle and learn to live again?

Follow Jenny’s story, watch Smith give her the foundation to become human again and witness the care that Jessica Gadziala used in telling this emotionally charged story.

Ms. Gadziala never ceases to amaze me with the depth of her well of creativity and her ability to create strength in her women and heart in her men. Another “well-done” to this author!

I received a complimentary copy from Jessica Gadziala!

4.5 - 5 stars

Gimme a tissue, I'm gonna weep like a willow.

I loved this book. It's deep and really emotional.
And if you're easily triggered by domestic and physical abuse I guess you need a little heads up. But it was all handled really really well, so kudos to the author. She did a fantastic job here.

Soooo...
This one was Smith's story. The General. Noah. Did I tell you how much I love this name btw?
We don't know much about him from the previous books in the series, apart from the fact that he's the quiet one, a little fucked up after his service, struggling with nightmares. He's the second in command in Quin's office so when Quin and Aven go on vacay, he's the one who has to deal with Jennifer's case.

Jenny is our heroine. And the insane amount of abuse this girl endured from the hands of her so called husband?
Damn...
This shit was rough.

So one day, after yet another round of beating our girl just snaps and shoots the bastard. And that's when Smith comes to the picture. However, since her asshole husband is the son of a famous senator (another conniving abusive prick) the regular cleaning of the crime scene is out of the question, so Noah simulates a burglary that went wrong and becomes her bodyguard.

And that's how it all starts.
And it was sooooo freaking good, I couldn't unglue myself from the kindle.

The only 'but' I have here is that we don't really learn much about Noah.
I wanted more. I wanted to learn what happened to him in the military, why he is the way he is. Jenny's emotional struggle and her growth somehow stole his thunder. But the romance is here and it's goooooood.

Gadziala's writing is definitely my cup of tea. Hell, this series is so unbelievably good, I can't believe I didn't put my greedy paws on it earlier.
A huge plus for two additions to the gang: Nia "the Hacker" and Bellamy "the Executioner". I'm shitting my pants with excitement because Bellamy's gonna have his book as well. Yay!!!

Summing up, it was another great read. I was hesitating between 4 and 5 stars because I wanted more of Noah. But frankly speaking, if I spend the entire day reading and doing absolutely nothing else because I can't seem to stop, then yeah, the book is good. And I mean real good. And it deserves 5 stars

And I know I'll love the next one as well because it's Ranger's story aka The Babysitter. The loner. And fuck if I'm not a cuckoo for that.

So without further ado, I'm off to book 5.
Yay!!!

I gotta admit it does read a bit differently the second time around and maybe it could use a but more time for them to get together but hey, who am i to complain.

I still loved it, just like the entire series.

I think imma dive into Finn's story now.
And then finally read Bellamy's, it's been long overdue.

Spoilers ahead

I like this author's foresight, we first met the h as her being beaten and then lying on the stand led to Eli Mallick being sent to jail. Here we finally get Jenny's story.

One night after one too many beatings Jenny snaps and needs the help of Quinn's team. Smith shows up to fix the situation and settles in as Jenny's live in bodyguard.

I liked both mcs especially the h as she dealt with the emotional fall out of years of horrific abuse.

No cheating
h was in an abusive relationship for years

Wow! WOW! WOW! WOW!
I'm not sure exactly where to start with this one. I didn't realize I needed Jenny's story as much as I did. We first meet Jenny in Eli Mallick's book after Jenny's husband is caught beating her and then Eli beats him. All these years later, the story comes full circle after Jenny finds herself in a situation needing help from a "Fixer".
Smith is her "fixer" sent to make sure there is no blowback on her for what just happened, and then wouldn't you know it, they fall in love. Once again, Jessica has introduced secondary characters that I find so fascinating that it makes me want their story right then and there (ahem Nia and Bellamy).

There has not been a book of Jessica's I haven't loved, but I think this one will be going to the top of my list of faves alongside Reign, For a Good Time Call, and a few others. Thanks for another great book!

Jenny is so much better then Teddy.

Sometimes you feel like you don't have any real self worth. That words as well as actions can really cut deep. That if you grin and bear it that you can survive it. Jenny has had enough and who can blame her. Her husband Teddy has finally reached Jenny's breaking point. Never a great place to be. Teddy discovers that a little bit too late.

"The General" gets the callout . His reputation definitely proceeds him. Only the best work for the "Fixer" firm. Jenny calls because she doesn't want to spend the rest of life in jail over someone like her husband Teddy. Noah meets Jenny upon arrival and sees that Jenny has finally freed herself from her nightmare of a marriage.

The relationship between employee and employer quickly blur as feelings develop. Jenny learns what being with a real man should be like. How easy life should really be. Never having to cower or comprise her likes. Jenny and Noahs relationship grew into something beautiful. Their epilogue is so beautiful. I am so glad we got to experience Jenny's story after what happen to her in Eli Mallicks book. What a great addition to this series. Fingers crossed for Rangers story!

Finally we get the why!. You can bet your ass I have spent the time since Eli's story resenting the women who lied on the stand and sent him to prison. I didn't consider the circumstances and I made no excuses for a women who sent a man to prison when he was the reason she was still alive. Hindsight is a funny thing though right?. This book give you a perfect example of why you should never judge a book by its cover or better yet a women by her lifestyle... you never know what's going on behind closed doors.

- Smith really surprised me. He almost comes across laid back if you don't count the details. One of the best fixers and I can see why. He reads, assesses and take actions. He takes in everything and thinks of every possible situation but he does it with this almost scary, cool as a cucumber exterior. The crazy part is despite that he's so different with Jenny. Sweet, attentive and thoughtful Smith is everything you could want in a hero.

- Jenny. Well I think anyone who has read Eli's book will know whom she is and quite possible not have a great opinion of her.. me included. However that quickly changed when I started reading this. She was taken away from everything she knew at 17 and thrusted into the elite life of the rich and famous. Poor little girl to rich high life socialite. Thing is it doesn't matter how pretty and presentable the goods are if it's rotten underneath and that is exactly what Teddy was.. rotten to the core. She never had a chance really.

Thoughts....

This ones a little different because it's not filled with a lot of action or suspense. You already know what's happening right at beginning of the story so it's the aftermath of the situation that you get to hear about.

The reality of Jenny's situation is truly heart breaking. Reading it is a bitter pill to swallow because not only did she not have anyone, he chipped away at who she was until there wasn't must left of her either. It's not all heartbreak though!. This is a story of self discovery, personal growth and a fight to live. She had to find herself and figure out who she was and what she wanted to do with her life.

She also had to deal with a guilt she's lived with for a long time in regards to Eli because believe me when I say no one could have made her feel any worse than she made herself feel.

It's a crazy emotional ride. I feel like the story was set from the start with the plot but grew to something much more than just that. I loved getting to watch both of them dance around eachother in denial. I loved watching them let go and enjoy one another and I fucking really loved Jenny putting her foot down and standing up to all those spineless dickwads that caused or helped cause her so much pain emotionally and physically.

The chemistry was something magical between Jenny and Smith. Despite being from different worlds they really weren't that different. The character growth is tremendous. The story flows perfectly letting us feel everything that's happening and take it all in. The side characters just breath more life into these stories adding so much to an already bursting book. This book had a different feel to it and I love it hard. This crazy world and the brilliant characters are just everything and more. Never a dull moment that is for sure.

I'd honestly go as far to say Smith and Jenny are my favourite of the series so far!! I can't even explain how good they are without giving away the best parts so I'm going to leave it here and advise you to read it!!!.

Those fucking epilogues kill me mun. Always end up in tears at the sweetness of them all. Also.. Bellamy kidnapping the kid! I about died laughing.

Also Nia?????!! All kinds of curious now.

Yes, I think this is so far my favorite book of the Professionals series. I didn't know if I would be able to like Jenny or her story, after Ellis book, but yeah, I've forgotten about Jessicas skills to make all the things fall into place 🤷🏻‍♀.
Jenny ensured 15 years of brutal marriage and brainwashing from her husband and father-in-law. Her self esteem, shame and guilty feelings didn't aloud her to stand for herself. But everyone has the one moment in life, where they fall apart.
Smith is a fixer, he's the General 🏅 by the Professionals. He is the ass kicker. If the fixers need a strong arm in a situation,  there is Smith.
What starts like a routine job for Smith and a disaster for Jenny, transforms into hopes and dreams and a really beautiful love story.
This book is an amazing message about second chances in life and self-forgiveness.
So I recommend this book to all the romance lovers.  Read this book and enjoy ❤🔥
I definitely enjoyed every second of this book 😍

Hello book that’s just like Hansel and Gretel! Except no witch...or candy house...or that whole gross bit about devouring children...basically all I meant is that there have been breadcrumbs. Just the breadcrumbs shtick. As the fourth installment of The Fixer series we’ve had bits of Smith along the way. We have also met our heroine previously if you follow Jessica’s happy little (read: long, over 50 books!) reading trail down the Navesink Bank adventure of awesome.

description

“The General” Smith, former military man and the call-guy for Quinton Baird and Associates was exactly as I wanted him to be. Like the first hot sip of blueberry coffee: sweet, hot, but still with a kick to get all your...juices flowing. Smith, of course, has been seen in both previous novels in this series and even makes a quick cameo in another NB book (no, I will not tell you which one...read for yourself like an erotic book Where’s Waldo). So, so glad he got his moment to shine and show us the little detailed touches Jessica adds to every character she lovingly puts to page.

description

Military men are always a major hit or miss for me being married to a Veteran myself. Will he be all Rambo with a Bowie knife taking out every enemy with his bare hands, eating bullets for breakfast with his Cheerios? Will he have such bad PTSD that he digs trenches in the backyard to sleep in and hugs his M-16 at night? While maybe those are extremes of some of the things our military men and women do actually deal with, it can still be something I have a hard time reading. Jessica has several former service men and I can’t appreciate her subtle hand enough. He’s every inch of hero you need without being...well, a regurgitated Rambo.

description

Now, Jenny (NOT Jen) was introduced to us in Eli (Mallick Brothers #4) and I wish someone would slap me for every pre-conceived notion I have ever had when it comes to a JG character! Why?! Why do I do this? I always regret it and I never get it right. While I could understand on the level of a woman having survived a bad, and dangerous, situation myself, I really had no clue when it came to this woman. There are decades of background, choices, circumstances, and simply, life behind this woman that you cannot even begin to comprehend until it’s spelled out for you. I ate crow on this one for sure, because the woman we get to know deserves all my apologies. If you’re on the fence about Jenny like I was, I promise you won’t be let down.

description

This book is bursting with personality. You can feel like you’re really there, sat smack dab across the street from Third Street Gang territory, cozied up in a log cabin with a fire roaring, or slipping on your socks along real marbles floors in a pristine mansion. JG is a master at world building. And character development. And epilogues. Basically this woman is amazing. If she weren’t the sweetest person ever you’d have a real-life Mean Girls moment because she’s just too good.

description

I hate spoilers so I don’t give things away, but I do have to tell you I LIVED for the last chapter. I loved the entire book, but the last chapter filled my heart beyond bursting. The sex was hot, the details that give the characters life were superb, the epic epilogues...all great. But that last chapter was everything I needed to bring it all together, slow-clap and grab-the-tissues style. JG we bow before your emotional gut-wrenching greatness.

description

Lastly, I have to mention how great it is when you get to see past faces for snippets of updates on how their happily ever after is progressing. We get to touch on our other fixers, and even meet a few new people to love. The Grinch and I have the heart growing thing in common now, every time I read something Jessica writes, my heart grows three sizes. Grab “The General” to add to your collection, your heart will thank you.

Review: I loved loved LOVED Smith. He is super kind, super cozy and fun! But the book itself felt way too superficial. There was no real depth to the characters or the story. I mean, kind of, but not as much as with the first 3 books. So I loved the characters, the book itself was okay. ☺️

And now finally to my beloved Ranger.

Pre-read: Excited for Smith, because we barely know something about him, but I am even more excited for book 5, so let’s go!

Another 5 star read

Ahhh this world.... Does it sound creepy that I kinda sorta wanna go visit a fictional place. Yeah? Well so will you once you start reading. The best thing about this series, this town, is that although you might not know every character, the story your reading will still be unforgettable. Wellllll that and it will make you go back to the very beginning. Ya know...case you missed one!

For those of us ensconced in JG Navesink Bank Universe this was a special book. We finally get the story of a woman who has been abused for 15 years by her husband whose family forced her to lie on the stand and put a innocent man in jail years ago. This story is about when she finally stood up to her abuser and ended his reign of abuse. In the way she ended it she then required the services of the Professionals to make it look like something other than a wife murdering her a husband.

Senator Ericsson and his sick, twisted abusive son Teddy have control Jenny for over 15 years. Nothing was her own. Not even her free will to choose what she ate, how she dressed, her life was not her own to live. After a brutal beating, which she decides is her last, she finally starts the process of taking back her life which is helped by Smith from Quinton Baird and Associates who job is to help clients clean up messes.

At the start of the book Jenny was like a caterpillar who had been stuck in her cocoon for years. And even though she could finally put an end to her chrysalis as with the caterpillar the butterfly needs to struggle at emergence in order for its wings to work. Smith was so patient with Jenny being supportive but knowing that she needed to emerge on her own.

Theirs was a beautiful love story to watch unfold.

If the story alone did make this a five star book the epilogue certainly did. Way to introduce a new member of the team!! And Bellamy you sneaky devil..

5 stars!

This might sound funny. This is a five star read for sure, but not so much for the story itself, but how the issue of abuse was handled. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great story. Jenny and Smith have difficult road to follow and the details are heart wrenching. Don’t pass on it!

The General was hands down one of my favorite Jessica Gadziala reads to date...she took on a seriously heavy topic with such finesse and gracefulness. The layers and detail that she puts into each new book blows me away and with this particular story Noah "Smith" & Jenny's story...man she got me right in all the feels 💚

What happened to Jennifer Ericsson after Eli Mallick stepped in so many years ago?...After she lied on the stand and sent him away. And how does she pull herself from the darkness that has become her everyday life? This is a story about second chances, forgiveness, fighting thru the darkness and becoming who you were always meant to be with a little love and patience from the right partner.
Do yourself a favor and read this book you won't regret the time you spend in Navesink Bank and I cannot wait for the next book to go back 💚

This is the first book in The Professionals series that I’ve enjoyed. I really enjoyed this one and felt a connection to and between the characters.

If you enjoy the Navesink Bank universe I recommend this one even if you, like me, haven’t really connected to the first three books in this series.

Don't be discouraged by my 3-star rating for Jessica Gadziala's newest book because the romance between Jenny and Smith is 5-star sweet and sizzlin': The chemistry is there, the epilogue is always amazeballs, and the Professional side characters have all the charm in what makes the Navesink universe so addictive.

I rarely rate a JG book less than 4 stars, and when I do, I tend to worry and don't leave a review to explain myself because fangirl vigilantes 'probably' exist. These 3-stars don't hold a candle to my general 365-day love and respect for this author's books and her work-ethic, but I want to express my concerns and hope other readers/reviewers can see that fans aren't simply blind followers and we want to see writers we love share even bigger and better stories.

I rated the book a 3 due to the initial chapter of socioeconomic comments Smith makes about the rich vs the poor. Those generalizations given in chapter 1 are super broad strokes that seemed out of place in a romance, and writing 2-3 paragraphs cannot possibly summarize an informed opinion of how money can solve world issues.

In Chapter 1 when Smith is driving into Jenny's neighborhood his monologue comments on what he thinks about the upper class in the area.

I just hated the showiness, the one-upping of each other in some desperate attempt to appear at the tippy top of the upper class...did they know how many mouths they could feed with the money they dropped on their third d*** Porsche, Bentley, or Lamborghini...the amount of surplus-unneeded-money the men and women on this street alone had could probably end world hunger or completely fund inner city schools...But, nope, they wintered in Bali and the Maldives. I wondered a bit fleetingly if Mrs. Ericsson spent her money on charities or shoes and handbags with some special label sewn inside.

I interpreted the above as a black-and-white definition of how the wealthy should or should not behave when it comes to spending, and what the author believes they should or should not be doing with their "spare" income. But why does it need to be so "This or That"? Why is Smith (or the author) making the assumption that the wealthy cannot be genuinely charitable and spend money the way they please because they can? Why are we being convinced that people with wealth that spend money on handbags will not spend money on charity? Gah!
Is this a Smith-definition of the wealthy in Navesink, or the author's belief in the real world?

Using their "spare" income--If I were a wealthy person and I used my wealth to create more wealth through ingenuity, no income is spare if I worked for it. If you reader, worked for your income, and had something extra at the end of the month, would you consider it "spare" and always give it away to create equality among people? This might be semantics, but I don't think any bit of income is spare just because a person is already rich, and income is "not" spare just because a person is defined as working class.

If each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs, folks, that is a basic definition of Communism. I don't want to explore social structures when I read a romance novel.

Giving money to solve world hunger or fund other things...I think most of us are pretty aware that throwing money at problems does not fix problems. There are other factors at play that no amount of wealth can even begin to change because they are about changing thought processes that will ideologically lead to solving world problems. (ahem... Equality and Education for Women Everywhere).

Lastly, Chapter 4 contained a brief comment about destitute women being the only people who steal wealthy husbands from their wives - I again, did not think this was fair...any type of woman (or man) is capable of having affairs with other people's rich husbands - the stereotype is a bubblegum blond from nowhere who swoops in to grab someone's oil-tycoon man. But also, not commonly mentioned, is any person who is testing out their powers may try to do this...as well as anyone looking to stray will stray and it's not entirely the fault of the "temptress" so-to-speak.

So these are the justifications for what I felt had to be a 3 star read, and why I struggled to decide if I should share my thoughts or not. It's the first time I've felt such a conflict when reading Jessica's books, and she has written wealthy protagonists in the past who are awesome people (e.g. Elsie, Summer, Pagan)...but if my comments offend or are unjustified, overall I really think a romance book was not the place to open a discussion on economics. I'd love to hear you share your thoughts in comments and replies below so you don't go vigilante on my a$$.

Jessica Gadziala’s novels just keep getting better and better and I already loved her novels, the Navesink Bank universe and her many series especially The Professionals. In The General Jessica outdid herself once again with a moving, layered, totally amazing love story. From page one when the call comes in to Quinn Baird & Associates from Mrs. Jennifer Ericsson, daughter-in-law of the Senator, that she needs fixers to help her after she finally has had enough, to the last page of the epilogue I was entranced. The epilogue was perfect, and by the last page I was crying tears full of joy for who Jenny had become and the life she had earned.

This book is a standalone and can definitely be read as one, but you will appreciate the story more if you have read the other novels in the Professionals series as well as Eli from the Mallick series. We first meet Jennifer Ericsson in Eli after she perjures herself to protect her abusive husband sending Eli Mallick to jail for assault, an assault he committed in a rage after seeing Jenny beaten.

The General is Noah “Smith”, Quinn’s #2 in the fixer gang and an alpha we get to know a bit about throughout The Professionals series. With Quinn out of town, Jenny’s call and case falls to Smith. With that call a love story evolves. The General however is so much more than a simple HEA romance. This is a heart-wrenching novel of forgiveness, self-discovery and the path to redemption. Though named for Smith, this is truly Jenny’s story and her evolution.

I loved this book. I loved the hints and moments that lead Smith and Jenny to find one another. I loved the slow build. I loved the heat and connection they had. I loved that Smith is an Alpha who understood that Jenny needed to find her own power and I loved, loved, loved the journey from Jennifer Ericsson, meek, abused society wife and daughter-in-law of a senator, to Jenny a woman of her own.

Thank you Jessica Gadziala for another great H/h and an amazing story!

If you've ever read Jessica before, you'll notice two characters that you've always wanted to know more about. Smith is known as the general. He is prior military that has pushed most of his life into his career and while not OCD is very careful how he approaches things.

The unique opportunity to head a very important and politically sensitive case.

You also get to see the wife who publically testified sending one of the infamous Mallick brothers into jail and changing the Mallick family into something that they weren't expecting.

This story confronts a topic of discussion that most stray away from: spousal abuse. How long would you go before snapping? How much could you take?

Some abuse is mental. Some is physical. Some psychological. When its all three combined, you find the perfect storm to cause someone to do the one thing they never thought they would do in their life. They find their breaking point.

I found that this story handled the sensitive topic with dignity and grace. Jenny, the wife in question, survived through so much that she turned into a shining diamond. She matches Smith and helps to soften the rough edges. It's a natural move from purely a job into romance and a sweet one at that.

It was AMAZING and great to see Jenny grow into herself and allow herself to live. I'll admit there are moments you will cry. There are also moments that will make you cheer and I'm only going to hint that it has to do with a certain pompous senator!

If you are new to Jessica, you'll see the wonderful way she handles some of life's hard topics and realities. Get your copy and start on the ride. Then go back and read the others. You won't be disappointed!

Our friends in Navesink Bank know all about the time when Eli Mallick had to be pulled off of Senator Ericsson’s son when Eli's attempt to save the dirtbag's beaten wife went too far. In a self-flaggelatory response to his loss of control, Eli Mallick refused to defend himself and went to jail for nearly 10 years. So what happens when that same abused wife calls fixer Quinton Baird's office asking for help after one final beating ends in a trigger being pulled with fatal results? Quin sends in the General - one of his best fixers. Smith, aka the General, is calm, thorough and absolutely gorgeous. He sees everything in this type of situation - not just the gun, the corpse and the bloodstains, but the desperation and underlying grace and beauty of Jenny, who simply couldn't take another day of being screamed at, punched, raped and throttled. As her primary fixer, Smith accompanied Jenny everywhere - to buy a funeral dress, to Target to get the first normal clothes for 15 years, to the lawyer's...he manages to give her the first taste of freedom since her husband found her as a 17 year old waitress in a café. Exciting, harrowing and redemptive, the story of how Jenny and Smith find and save each other has it all. Another winner in Navesink Bank!

I generally like this series. I thought this one was a little more boring than the others.

Smiths shoulders are hot so move on from that cover. STOP THE BODY DISCRIMINATION OK. and like wow.

FIRSTLY, I DONT STAND FOR THE AUDACITY OF ONLY FINDING OUT SMITHS NAME TILL ABOUT AFTER 60%. no but franky i didn’t even cross my mind that i didn’t know his name till he actually mentioned that his name is Noah Smith to which point my mouth was gaping cause 1. His first name is Noah and 2. THEY WOULD BE MR & MRS SMITHHH. please tell me you understand how big that is. literally what a coincidence.

These books and their fast and furious reference are really really getting me to my heart. going off on another f&f (not the tesco clothing brand) rant but GOD THOSE MOVIES WERE SO MUCH TO ME. i cant even listen to the songs from the franchise without having flashbacks of watching them. life when those movies were out (1 till 7) was good. i miss it 🥲.

OH AND NEW YEARS. like uh no darling it was not a pitty kiss but hell if it bloody well was who cares when ur being kissed at 00:00 on the dot 🤨. i would literally be like “you and me from the night before… i want your midnights but i’ll be cleaning up bottles with you on new year’s day.”

which naturally brings me on the topic that i am OFFICIALLY (unofficially) RENAMING SMITH TO THE HUSBAND. cause well i feel like that name suits him so much better. there was literally no nonsense with him 😏😀 literally was a linear line, he likes her? bitch did not beat around the bush. and all i’m saying is that he went into that room with good intentions and he left it as a lucky lucky man.

i just know smith is hot, not physically, like sure but his character… YES PERSONALITY. charming, caring, mommas boy, LITERALLY MAKES TABLES OR STUFF and just gives his information completely unprompted.

like you know how in some books some of the characters literally gatekeep their backstory and when u finally find out it’s not even something traumatic 🤨 like bro what’s going on, your life isn’t exactly state secrets 🙄😐 but Smith thank the lords was giving up all his info unprompted and i was living, i was eating that shit up like i’m gonna know this man for the rest of my life. yeh. cool.

and jenny was bae. literally was bae. girls rich as f now, and has more money that smith (strange seems some men CAN accept that a woman has more money than him. oop male ego.) even though i would have rather wished the way she got it never happened. really shouldn’t have gotten married to that MOTHER FUCKING FREAKING SON OF A LITERAL BICTH (no literally) BASTARD AND CHEATING DRUGGIE. hope he rots in the ground and hope his grave gets shat on by a bunch of dumb pigeons.

anywyas yeh.

p.s. i completely stand by jenny’s decision to kill that mofo.
