I think the book is fine, probably more detailed, maybe a bit too much. It 100% saved my A-Level grade and is infinitely better than what's written in the book published by Cambridge. Although, I'd say that the book isn't didactic, often the way things are explained is confusing and feels like the author assumed some sort of knowledge about those topics, which then again, this book being an International version or for IALs comes across as a meh job. The only reason that this book isn't three stars is how the book uses a pejorative to accustom students to the pronunciation of the word 'Dijkstra'. I do not know why the authors wished to use a lesbianphobic slur. Do you think that lesbians do not do Computer Science outside of the ever-so-great and transphobic UK?
