I never believed in true love until I met her. My Peyton, my shining light, my second chance. But our old friend fate had other twisted ideas. I started to wonder if that happily ever after we once craved was so out of reach, or if life would cut us a break and finally give us the ending we deserve.
I’ve been waiting on pins and needles for this story and to say that I’m excited is putting it mildly and wow I was not disappointed far from it. I didn’t think that I would cry any harder than I did in the other books but wow this story had me bawling like a baby, this story blew me away its so emotional. It wasn’t all just tears and sadness I also had a good belly laugh and if you have been following this series Tattoos and Tears then your in for one hell of a treat, but be warned make sure you have the tissue box next to you because I can promise you that you will need them. This series is the best I’ve ever read it grabs you and it doesn’t let you go and I can’t wait to see what Aimee Louise brings out next, so thank you Aimee for this wonderful heart wrenching series. An amazing story a 5 +++++ plus ⭐️ read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
This book was not for me. I must admit that I have not read the other installments in this series, but I gathered enough backstory from this book to understand most of what happened before. I love me some rockstar romances. The best scene of the book was where Sam was on stage and picked a girl from the audience and invited her backstage. I loved how well that was described. But the rest of the story? To me, the real story didn't start until I was one-third in.
It felt like Peyton slept with everyone she met or at least flirted with everyone. I didn't believe her reasons not to be with Sam, even though I understood her background. I hated how they kept running away from each other for no other reason than that they were scared or didn't deserve each other.
I felt like much of the book was filled with meetings that didn't help the story. The writing itself was okay, though the author did use certain catchphrases time and time again, like calling her son 'rock star' or how 'her heart slammed against her ribcage.'
Maybe if you've read the whole series and you want to know how things end for Peyton and Sam, you will want to read this book. If you haven't, then please don't. I skipped reading many pages because it couldn't hold my interest. I'm relieved I finished the book and am now ready to read something else.

I deferred from leaving a review for the individual books in the Tattoos and Tears series until I had finished all four. Badged as New Adult Romance, author Amiee Louise has created an interesting mix of characters for this series. They were interesting enough to keep me reading to the end but I have to admit that the storyline’s weak, relying on clear inspiration from other well-known erotic contemporary novels, tv shows and films. The author clearly is a fan of Kill Bill among other things. To my mind, these are erotica not New Adult Romance. The constant over use of “babe” becomes a more than a little repetitive. In the first book, the sex scenes are very in your face and descriptive bordering on porn but then they too become repetitive and excessive in the following books. There are significant continuity gaps in the story (unrealistic time frames etc ) and an apparent lack of research or knowledge of certain key points eg the simple fact that a rock band of the stature of Rancid Vengeance would be at the venue by lunchtime and sound checking by 2pm for a 9pm on stage time not arriving an hour beforehand to set up and play with minimal soundcheck. As an author, I appreciate the blood sweat and tears that go into getting a book into print. A little more content and lot less cheap sex and these strong characters could have been developed so much more believably.
This is a difficult review for me to do. This book is definitely beautifully written and full of emotions. But it was a bit over the top for me. The story is full of broken people, not just the heroine and hero, but everyone around them seemed to be broken and miserable as well. The story had way more downs than ups and I actually felt rather sad and depressed as I read it. And while I like dark emotional drama as much as the next person, this story just had too much darkness and tragedy for my taste and not enough brightness. Unfortunately, I didn’t really care for any of the supporting characters. I also found that I had a love/hate relationship with Peyton and with Sam. At times I felt for them, but at times I also got very tired of the constant drama and heartbreak. To be honest, out of the whole story, I enjoyed the last two chapters and the epilogue the best - they were well written and at least were somewhat upbeat and uplifting. This book is a beautifully written but tragic romance - and not my favourite read.

My two favorite sentences: "I need you more than I need my next breath…" "neither of us will know where you end, and I begin," PHEW! There's a bathroom scene that is oh so hot, and has some funny too! The relationship between Peyton and Sam is so rocky. Amiee's writing, the dialogue, is raw, but amazing. Bringing home, the rawness of the main character's relationship, raw! If you are not a fan of the F word, I would not read, there’s a lot, LOL. There may be too many to read over! The characters so well fleshed, you'll feel as if you know them! I was so darn mad at Peyton for her treatment of Sam! It's usually only the historical romances I read that take place in the UK! I love that this modern romance takes place there. How many chances will Peyton get, her job, the father of her child...... I really do love the England endearments, love! Could I sit for 8 hours for a tattoo, OMG! This book has twists I did not see coming. And, ladies, some tissues may be needed! 5+*s.
Although overall I really enjoyed this series, I do feel there were a lot of storyline left unfinished (Jack, Piper, Brody, etc. to name a few) the author might have the intention of giving these characters their own story, but their stories within this one just feel very incomplete to me. Also, I feel like Sam never truly atones for his actions. When he has an opportunity with another girl, he goes for it, only to be interrupted by something, yet he shows no remorse and doesn’t spare a thought for Peyton. Also, I don’t feel as if Peyton truly got over her trauma. That feels very unfinished to me, as well. Peyton and Sam did not grow and evolve throughout this series, individually or as a couple. All that being said, this story gave me all the feels and I really do recommend it.
I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
This book is not a stand alone and needs to be read in order to have the story make sense. In this book we see that Sam is trying to find a way to reach Payton. With all the pain she is drowning in she can't seem to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Though even through it all they know that the world starts and stops with the other. Can these two finally get their HEA or will it all come crashing down yet again for them?
This series is amazing and this is another hit out of the park in it. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this book like all the others in this series will take you on a roller-coaster ride you won't want to get off of. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
If your an impatient person like me, you'll definitely want to read this series all in order, one after the next, as quickly as possible! If I'd only had book one, I'd have gone batty waiting for the next one. I really enjoyed this series and it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. The things Peyton and Sam go through in the first three books would have ended most people, but they're still here. They're both fighters and have survived so much but will these next challenges be too much? Their relationship is shaky at best. Will it endure these new temptations and heart breaks? You've got to read this series!

TISSUES are a MUST and Nerves of Steel! LOVE or HATE Intense read! Bust out the tissues before you even start reading you will need them and maybe a shot or two of the hard stuff because your going to need something to calm down your frazzled nerves and broken heart as the endless flow of twists impede on them throughout this emotional rollercoaster ride from the first page to the last. Passionate edgy hot chemistry that pulls you deep into the heart of the drama at times making it hard to put down and even harder to find the courage to read on. Fierce head turning twists. A gripping must read that will have you spiraling out of control as the words slam into you hitting you hard fast and refuse to let you go. So harden you heart, kick back and know you've been warned!
Holy Toledo Batman!! If you've been reading the "Tatoo and Tears" series then I know you've been waiting for this one. Peyton and Sam have literally been through hell and back just getting to this point. What happens here? You'd never believe me if I told you. Just know Amiee Louise has taken these characters, placed them in a plot that will twist and turn keeping you dumbfounded, bringing out every emotions (including a pause to grab the tissue), and then leaving you giddy by the end of the book. Not only is this one of the most heartfelt, emotionally relatable books I've read in awhile, it was the perfect ending to an outstanding series. Congratulations. At the end of the last book I was really hoping Peyton would disappear. I really hated her wishy washy ways. In this book I hated how she had sex with different men and threw it in Sam's face, granted Sam is no angel but he never purposely hurt Peyton the way she did him. There were some awesome twists in this book and it wrapped up the story of JD. It is a must read but you need to have read the first 3 Tattoo and Tears to be able to really appreciate it.

This series had it all. Several times I put the books down and had to go back to them. I have never enjoyed nor hated a author like I have this one. You will not be disappointed in this series. It has everything you could want, a tattoo artist meets a Rockstar and the ride they take to get to their happily ever after they want so desperately. Plus the lives of all their friends and family along the way. It is just fantastic. I wish we could give 10 stars because that is what it deserves. I am sad it has ended.
Talk about a long road to happiness. This dark and sad tale that spans what seems to be a lifetime is well worth the wait and the read. This heartbreaking story keeps you on your toes and makes you cry in sorrow and grief. Peyton and Sam have taken a long twisted road to find their happiness. The way all their friends and families lives intertwine with theirs brings joy and immense sadness.

Book 4. I had no clue what was going to happen, but it was worth it. There was a lot packed into this book. Their relationship which has so much chemistry had this push and pull thing going on. Both were infuriating. There was drama, crime, death and just when you thought you were safe it was over, the real bad guy shows up. No spoilers read it. Good ending. I liked Remy. v
This whole series is very emotional and interesting. I was going from laugh to tearing up in no time. Very well written book, characters are great . Their life choices are heartbreaking at some points. I was rooting for this couple happy ending. This is series to read and fell.

This is the 4th book in this phenomenal series and what an emotional roller coaster journey this story is. I was completely captivated throughout this addictive and riveting page turner and I cannot wait to read more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend for all readers.
I still have no love for Peyton. Mostly all of what they went through could have been avoided if she was honest about the threats from JD. She put Sam through the wringer with her back and forth BS. I feel he deserved better, they did go through alot of tragedies but came together stronger.
It kept enthrall from the I started reading it. Shocking twists unexpectedly towards the end of the book. Need another book tie up loose ends for the other characters in book
wow! this is my first time reading Amiee Louise, i loved it! she is such a good author, great story telling and characters. i adored bolt and peyton, i'm going to have to go back and read the rest of this series. would def recommend.
This and the whole series was over the top drama. Sad to say that I couldn't stop reading it. I needed to know how it all turn out. Sam and Peyton were always back in forth with each other.
This was a very good final book in this series! I loved Sam and Peyton's journey from the very beginning. All the other characters were awesome as well! Definitely a series worth reading if you haven't already.
I started reading this series of books and omg it was amazing beauitfully written. In the last book, there was times i was screaming at Peyton and Sam to grow up and give their heads a wobble.
I would love a books on other characters especially Jax and his newfound fatherhood x 🤞🤞 fingers crossed
I read all the four books in this series, good story line hot rock stars and their girls. Bit repetitive in places though and they both needed a swift kick. Bit of unpredictability which made me want to read each book
Wow!! Really enjoyed the whole series. Loved Sam and Peyton. Would love a spin off and for Remy to get his happily ever after. If you love to read about sex, drugs and Rock and Roll this is the series for you!!
