Burning for Him: Bundle

Nice collection of stories. All of them have been fairly recently published, but it's still nice to have them all in one place to read.

Of the 5 of them, Justin and Tyler's story is my favorite. Mostly because it shows how much work it can take to get through PTSD and that it is possible to get through it and to have a better life on the other side.

But, they are all a nice way to spend a couple of hours.

Burning for him- In this romance between Tyler and Justin, Tyler always thought he was straight , until he met Justin and realized he was attracted to him. Tyler had left New York for the south to follow a girl to college, but they broke up and he stayed. Tyler was a nerd and enjoyed playing games and he worked in a game store. When a storm was coming, he went to the grocery store to stock up and he met Justin when they both reached for the last case of beer. Justin told Tyler to take it and then he left the store. Tyler was instantly attracted to the tall, tattooed guy, but there was something about him that called to Tyler to talk to him, but he was gone. When Tyler was walking home, he was followed by Justin and Justin offered him a drive. When Justin left, he went home with the intention of killing himself, but without the beer, he lost the courage to do it. Justin was a former soldier and was haunted by things that happened in the war. When Tyler and Justin keep meeting, Tyler knows there is something about Justin that makes him want to get to know him more. When Tyler sees how Justin is living, he takes control and cleans up. Justin is shocked that someone cares enough to help him and they form a connection. When Justin learns Tyler has never been with a man, he wants him more. They begin a relationship, but Tyler wants Justin to get help and Justin agrees. I loved this story. Parts of it were heartbreaking about Justin's past. Tyler and Justin met at the right time for both of them. I love their connection and thought their chemistry was great. I love how Tyler knew Justin needed help and knew he couldn't help on his own.

His Dirty Secret- I really enjoyed this love story between Ryan and Anthony. Anthony was attending the birthday party for his best friend Jamie when a dark handsome stranger showed up wanting to see Jamie. Jamie was shocked to see Ryan and was happy to see him back in town. When Jamie introduced Anthony to Ryan, he learned Ryan was Jamie's oldest brother, who Anthony never knew existed. Ryan is obviously the black sheep of the family, with his tattoos and piercings and wearing leather. Ryan is also the hottest man Anthony has ever seen. Anthony and Jamie are best friends, even though Jamie comes from a very wealthy family, who own a number of real estate businesses as well as casinos. Anthony met Jamie ten years ago when his mother started working as a maid for Jamie's family. Anthony and Ryan have an attraction, but Ryan tells him it can only ever be for one night. Anthony decides to spend the night with Ryan because he thinks he may never get the chance again. They have a great connection and when they continue to cross paths, Anthony treats Ryan like a human when the rest of Ryan's family treat him like bad news. Ryan has been away for ten years and when Anthony asks why, he learns Ryan was in prison, but he is not told why. Anthony and Ryan continue to see each other, against warnings to stay away from each other from Jamie. When They start to develop feelings, things are going well until Ryan's past comes back to cause more problems. Anthony tries to stand by him, but he doesn't know the whole story and it is hard to know who to trust. i loved Ryan and Anthony together. Ryan was really a great guy who tried to be better, but he took on too much and had no idea how to handle it.

Rescued Love- This is the second book in the Roscoe Romance series. In this book, Jamie is starting to feel lonely and wanting to find someone to spend his life with. When Jamie is asked to go to a mountain side property the family owns to see if it can be sold, he sees his rival Morgan there. Morgan and Jamie went to school together and are from rival families. Jamie was trying for an internship that Morgan took and then quit, causing Jamie to go to work for his family. Morgan has been cut off from his family for the past two years and has hit rock bottom. Morgan has resorted to selling drugs in order to make money and is squatting at the mountain property. When Jamie sees him there, Morgan lies and says he is interested in buying the property. Jamie and Morgan are both attracted to each other, but are rivals. They do act on their attraction and then go their separate ways. When they go to meet up a few days later, a storm comes in and they are stranded on the mountain. When Jamie gets hurt, Morgan risks his own life to get him help and when the drug dealers come looking for money, Morgan knows he has to stay away from Jamie so he doesn't get hurt. I really like this series and this book was another good one. Jamie is dealing with a lot and he knows Morgan has problems, but he wants to be with him regardless. Jamie wanted to help Morgan and have a life with him. Morgan loved Jamie and wanted him safe. I live how they both wanted to protect the other.

Prince's Desire- This is a second chance romance between Reid and James. Reid and James dated while in college and stopped dating when James cheated and took Reid for granted. Reid went on to get married and have a daughter, Haley, but his husband Alex was killed a year ago. James was the grandson of the Queen and was in line for the throne. When James's grandmother decided she didn't want the throne, she said it go to the first of her grandchildren to have an heir. James wanted to be king and turned to his ex Reid because he already had a child and was fertile. Fertility was an issue with many people now and James offered Reid money to be a surrogate and pretend to be in a relationship with him. Reid needed the money and agreed for Haley's sake. James was thrilled and soon he and Reid found old feeling coming back and they wanted to be together. Things were going well except for James's cousin also wanted the throne and would stop at nothing to get it, including being a danger to Reid and the baby. I enjoyed this story and really enjoyed how James and Reid reconnected. I loved how playful James was and how he changed from before. Reid was good for James and they had great chemistry. I loved how James loved Haley as well and wanted to raise her as well.

Starting his Fire- In this book, Lance is a firefighter who keeps to himself and is known to be a loner, only caring for the two dalmatian dogs Spot and Dottie, who he raised from pups. When a bad fire break out causing evacuation of neighborhoods, Martin is told he can't go home. Martin is another loner who has no family or friends in the area. Martin works at a pet store, but he is afraid of dogs. When Martin tells the police officer he has nowhere to go, Lance overhears him and tells him he can stay at his house. Martin agrees and Lance takes him there before returning to fight the fire. Martin is an omega and he wants to show Lance he is grateful for a place to stay, so he cooks and cleans for him. Lance is an alpha and he has secrets. There is an attraction between Lance and Martin and soon they act on things. They settle into a routine and when Martin tells Lance he wants more, Lance refuses because of his secrets. When Lance realizes how much he cares for Martin, he knows he has to make things right and tell Martin everything. I really liked this story. I thought Lance was a good guy who had to do things he didn't want to. I like how Lance cared for the dogs and treated Martin like he was special, even if Martin didn't think of himself that way. I think they were good for each other and i think they really cared for each other and were willing to try to be together. I like that Martin wanted to support Lance and i like how protective Lance was.

I loved this set and look forward to reading more of Aiden and Austin. Well done.

The Burning For Him Bundle includes five fantastic books by Aiden Bates. The stories are entertaining and sexy, and the characters interesting. A perfect collection to satisfy a craving for sexy love stories.

***Book one - Burning for him

Justin is an ex military man haunted by his past, at the point where ending his life looks like a valid option. He works a dangerous job in repossession for a creepy employer. He lost his lover in the service and the nightmares plague his sleep and flashbacks plague his days. On the day he decides to take his life, he meets Tyler...And changed his mind. And Tyler keeps saving him time and again.
Tyler never was attracted to men, but the pull he feels for Justin is unlike any he has ever known and he feels that he should explore the new desires he has for this man.... And also help save his life.

Burning For Him by Austin Bates is a great love story with interesting characters and a very satisfying HEA.

***Book two - His Dirty Secret

Ryan is the Black sheep of his wealthy family. Ten years ago he went to prison and his mother "erased" all evidence that he was part of their family. Which is why Anthony is shocked when he goes to his best friend's birthday party and discovers his friend has a hot, sexy older brother named Ryan. He is also shocked to see the disdain some family members hold against the man, especially when they interact and the man Anthony has come to know seems nothing like the one his best friend and family warn Anthony away from. They will just have to keep their relationship on the down low.

But secrets have a way of getting exposed and the past has a way of haunting you, and soon the two men will find their lives rocked upside down and have to figure out how to make it all right.

Well written story of two men who have an instant attraction and bond, even when one tries to pull away due to doubt he's good enough. Both characters are likeable and relateable. And the supporting characters are intriguing. I'm excited to see what follows..

***Book Three - Rescued Love

Their families are rivals but their attraction burns far brighter than any fued their fathers have going. Jamie just may rescue Morgan with his love.
Great story and characters.

*** Book Four - Prince's Desires

Prince James has always had the ultimate goal of being King. He has put himself first trying to get that goal and his own selfish agenda. Now his grandmother, the queen, has declared that the first of her grandchildren to produce a heir will inherit the crown. There is competition in the running and for James only one man comes to mind when thinking of making a heir... His ex, Reid.
Lovers in college, James broke Reid's heart and Reid found love on the rebound- marrying another man and having a daughter. But now that he is a widow, Reid is struggling financially so the offer James presents to him is all too tempting. Have his child, fake a relationship and in return get the funds he needs to support his daughter. Desperation makes him sign the contract - but the attraction to James is what makes Reid stay. Has the Prince changed? Will they make a child? Who will become king/queen? And will this second chance lead to forever or will Reid find himself with another broken heart. Well written story of second chance love, James and Reid give the reader steam and sweet.

*** Book Five starting His Fire

Lance is a fireman with a dirty secret. Martin is a man who works at a pet store but is debilitating afraid of dogs. When Martin can not go back into his home due to a fire, Lance comes to the rescue and offers his house as temporary lodging for the adorable omega. As they get closer and start to see a future together, secrets threaten to burn them. Lance and Martin are sweet and hot characters with a good love story.

Tyler runs into Justin at the supermarket while trying to by the same beer. Tyler puts Justin’s hand on the door and walks out the store, in which Justin attempts to chase him down only to realize he still has his unpaid items with him. At this point Justin purchase his things and leaves only to find out he can’t get an Uber ride home, so he proceeds to walk. Tyler just so happens to be following him and only introduces himself when Justin’s bag breaks and his items go spilling in the street. From here a very sweet relationship starts to unfold. Justin has PTSD and was buying the beer to commit suicide, for some this maybe a bit much however, this book is very well written and the situation was handled very tastefully. Justin ended up reaching out for help in his own way and Tyler was listening. This was a very emotional read for me but also very enjoyable.

Reid has a daughter named Haley and recently lost his husband. James is Reid’s ex and his grandma stated she will pass the crown down to the first grandchild who who has an heir and births a child will take the crown. James comes up with the idea to write up a contract to propose to Reid requesting him to assist in providing an heir to the thrown. Lesandra James cousin is willing to do anything to become the queen. She will even go as far as killing James heir as well as Reid in order to make this happen. Truly a great read and a must read.

This is Anthony and Ryan’s story. Anthony is attracted to the tall, dark, handsome and possibly dangerous types. I think we have all have at some point in our lives. Ryan thought he was prepared for life on the outside. He thought prison taught him that, unfortunately he was wrong, the stares the contempt was all a bit much however, the one bright thing in his life is his little brothers best friend Anthony. Ryan used to believe Anthony deserved and could do better than him, but Anthony has shown him over time that he could be the man Anthony deserves. Now when Anthony starts to pull away Ryan knows he can be the man Anthony needs he can be the man he deserves. Great book and a wonderful start to a new series.

This is Jamie and Morgan’s story. Jamie runs into Morgan squatting on his property, however he’s not trying to steal it as he normally would have assumed. These two are long time rivals, per Jamie, Morgan stole his internship and ruined his life. Morgan however is squatting in an abandoned building on Jamie’s property because his dad kicked him and left him with nothing once he found out he was gay. Every time I hear this I am left extremely angry because this actually happens in real life. Reading this story you will find that both men have secrets they wish to keep hidden. This was a nice story.

This is Martin and Lance’s story. These two meet when Lance saves Martin from a wildfire. Martin is an animal lover who works in a pet shop however he has an issue with dogs to overcome. As you know Lance is a firefighter and Martins dream man. These two have issues that they each need to overcome, but who doesn’t. Unfortunately Lances boss has so much stuff on him it would make for a great reason to walk away, however regardless of the blackmail info he has Lance is in need of help. This is truly a phenomenal bundle.

Fantastic Bundle!

Burning for him
I loved this emotional and poignant love story. Justin has so many past issues and so much internal pain he's decided life's not worth living. Enter Tyler, a kind-hearted geek. They keep running into each other. Is it coincidence or fate? Tyler reaches out to Justin and slowly helps him change his perspective and gives him a reason to live. I really liked the way change didn't happen overnight for Justin, which made the story more realistic and believable. There is a lot of emotion, angst, hurt and comfort in this beautiful story. Warning, there are some dark themes like PTSD and thoughts of suicide that may be triggers for some people, but there is a fantastic HEA.

His Dirty Secret
This is a strong story full of intense emotions. There is a fair amount of angst, negative family dynamics, self-doubt, and sweet love. I loved the main characters, especially the way Anthony made up his own mind about Ryan based on his own experience, rather than listening to the negative information family and others spouted.

Rescued Love
This is a wonderful, emotional, heart-breaking, up-lifting read. Aiden Bates really pulled out the stops for this one - highs, lows, family dynamics, pain, flawed characters, second chances - it's all here, and you're going to love it. Tissues may or may not be required, but I recommend keeping them on hand. Have no fear, there is an HEA, but the characters have to work hard to get there.

Prince's Desires
Fantastic story about second chances, redemption, and forgiveness. There is a little angst, some family rivalries and villainy, blossoming love, and the pitter patter of little feet. I loved James and Reid, and the Queen too. This is a wonderful feel good story.

Starting His Fire
This book started a little slow for me, but once it got moving I didn't want to put it down. I loved Martin and Lance, two men who are each just what the other needs. They meet because of a wildfire, then another kind of fire starts. There are issues and secrets that make it hard to find love together. Will external forces tear them apart or bring them together, and can their love survive? Great story!

This collection of stories is loosely tied together by the concept of royalty and burning desire / literal fire. As in, when a family is the actual founding family of a city and considered royalty or an actual prince. The first book is the most emotional and gripping. Books two and three are part of the same universe so you get to read about two of the Roscoe brothers. The fourth is about Danish royalty and the last about a firefighter.

In all of them, the Alpha - omega world is implied, but not really discussed or fleshed out. The conflicts resolve pretty easily and there are some believability issues like with the firefighter, Lance. He confesses to something and it goes too smoothly with the police. I mean, I am glad it did because I wanted him free, but in real life it would never have been so easy. But honestly, I can forgive those lapses because I want to be entertained and this bundle certainly does.

I really enjoyed all of the stories and had a great time reading them. The editing and writing is good, especially the dialogue between the main characters. Tyler and Justin in Burning For Him are so compelling, they will stay with you like good friends.

As long as you can forgive some of the plot issues, fans of mpreg will enjoy this bundle. 3.5 stars

This bundle has a litle bit of everything.
The first book is about Justin an ex military with PTSD and collects items from people who cant pay and Tyler is a litle geek who works at a game store. Tyler does and go a long way to help Justin, they have issues to work trough.

The second book is about Ryan who just got out of prison and showes up at his brothers birtday party and meet Anthony, his brothers bestfriend. This is my favorite of the bundle, I just love Anthony and Ryans story.

The third story is about Morgan who is homeless and struggeling after his father disowned him, he meets up with Jamie when he hides out in an old house Jamies family own. Morgan tries to hide his unluck to Jamie and this is a lovely story about enemies to lovers.

The forth story is about James, he’s a prince who has to produce an heir to inherit the throne. James contact his ex boyfriend Reid. They sign a contract about a baby, and soon old flames ignite. This is a second chanse story.

The fifth book is about Martin who works at a petstore and is afraid of dogs. Martin gets rescues from a fire and is invited to live with his rescuer Lance, Lance is a firefighter and takes care of the firestations two dalmatians. Thise two has some issues to work out.

Ryan is the black sheep of his family Anthony loves him in spite of being warned away and his belief in Ryan leads to the truth of a past incident and a sacrifice for the good of the family.
Jamie and Morgan are caught up in rivalry between their fathers. Both men have secrets and their love proves to be stronger than issues they face.
James and Reid face palace intrigue and traitors once lovers are united and Reid learns how much James loves him and his daughter Haley.
Lance's boss has blackmailed him into committing crimes Martin loves him and he is willing to stand with him and help him bring the truth to light.
Each story highlights the power of love that overcomes obstacles, dangers, and all issues that try to destroy the relationships between these men.

Burning For Him - Justin and Tyler's story. Tyler works at a games store and was in charge of the game nights. Justin is an ex Marine with issues, and he works for a repo company as needed. Justin has nightmares and Tyler tries to help him.
His Dirty Secret - Love of family and friends. Ryan has to come to terms with his life on who he is and what he wants going forward. Anthony has to look inside himself and decide what he wants with his life.
Rescued Love - Great love story to read about two people that have history and need to put it behind and start fresh. Morgan has problems and Jamie wants to help. A story that takes you through the problems of two men on the journey to a happy ending.
Starting His Fire - A fire brings Martin and Lance together. One must learn to play with dogs again. They both must learn to trust one another. A story that brings two hearts together with a happy ending.

Brilliant I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book bundle

This is an amazing book set of 5 books. I had previously read three of them and got the pleasure to read them because they where that good that I could enjoy them a second time round. The two new books I got to read where just as brillianti love when books can suprise me and these one's did, they took a few different turns I didn't expect which was amazing.
I really enjoy reading this author he was one of the first authors that got me into mpreg. I like thinking that there is a way for guys to have babies to, it just was me so happy. Babbies are hard work but so worth it all, throughout thier lives.
This is a definite must have bundle you will have hours of joy and maybe even a few out bursts like me. Garb asap you won't regret it.

So in love with these stories. Five stories bundled together for a great reading experience. All the stories have the strong alpha type build and personality. But they are esch struggling with something. I just can't get enough of the omegas that bring each alpha back to earth, so to speak. I would like to say that the first story Burning for Him is my favorite, Tyler, the alpha is having terrible PTSD that he can hardly funtion and his omega Tyler never giving up on him. But I love the Roscoe family, and seeing Ryan finally getting what he deserves not only from Anthony but the truth. Each book is awesome. There are two books on the Roscoe family, A prince that needs an heir, and the last story waiting for the big secret to come out for Lance and Martin. Awesome collection of books

Aiden Bates and Austin Bates MM romances are one of the ones I like to read on my free time because of a variety of reasons.

As an emotional reader, I connect with their character because of the way they are portrayed. They feel real and so I can relate to them and feel all the feels while reading their stories.

The writing was on point in this Bundle and I was a little surprised at some points because of the twists I was not expecting. The different stories have different things to love about them but some twists were better than others.

The flow of each story was done so well that I couldn't even explain it. I will just say that you should read it to see what I mean.

I would recommend this book to anyone that love well-crafted characters, MM relationships and Mpreg stories.

Tyler followed a girlfriend from New York to Mississippi for college. The girlfriend is no longer on the scene and Tyler now works in a gaming store. When stocking up on essentials because of a blizzard, Tyler and James both reach for the same pack of beer. James makes sure Tyler gets it and walks away.
Trying unsuccessfully to get a ride home Tyler decides to walk, then he notices a van following him. When one of the shopping bags break James helps him pick up the scattered produce and then offers him a lift home.
Slowly a friendship grows into something more, but the past haunts James and he needs Tyler’s help to heal.

Burning hot

A love that appears out of nowhere, a love between very different men, a love that saves their lives, and a love that creates new life.

It almost seems to perfect and too unusual. PTSD military hero and confused young man trying to do what is best for each other. And changing for each other while trying to create the perfect family life. And Sammy providing the needed balance to glue the love together one lick at a time.

I really liked the start of the first book. The characters were easy to care about, and the story moved at a good pace. Around the middle the focus changed, bringing in the mpreg element, and that’s where the voice started to feel different for me. I’ve read and enjoyed mpreg before, but here it shifted the tone in a way that threw me off. Still, it’s heartfelt, well-written, and clearly built with care.

Great story lines and characters, Awesome !! Loved this boxset. The storylines were so interesting that it had me turning pages in anticipation of where it would lead . I was very intrigued with the characters in the stories. Simply awesome . Definitely recommend this boxset to anyone looking for great reads. I would recommend to others. Worth the read and the money!

This is just what you'd expect from a bundle of stories from Aiden/Austin Bates. They are all tales of the magic of love with HEAs and Mpreg stories to leave you satisfied. A great series to add to your collection.

Each book was well written and kept me interested from the beginning. His Dirty Secret and Rescued Love are connected but can be read as stand alones. Book 4 Prince's Desires was my favorite because it has some mystery and a Prince trying to have a baby with an ex lover so he can become king.

Really Awful

If there was an editor or beta readers for these books, you can't tell. There were SO MANY errors, and the stories had a really feminine voice. I was surprised to find that the author was male. I couldn't connect with any of the characters, so I DNF 2 of the stories. Skip this one.

I really enjoyed this collection where the alphas found redemption and learned to forgive, while finding love and building families. The villains most definitely had a few screws loose to do what they did. Haley was an absolute doll who was wise beyond her years.

This is a great set of stories. I really enjoyed reading these. Like most of their stories they have a HEA. l myself enjoy stories with mpreg. This set is recommended for those who like that kind of stories.
