Every one of my reviews for this series have been not only lengthy, but full of praise. Angel Payne deserves all of the accolades for this superhero/erotic romance combo and her creation of Reece gave me the chance to fall in love with her words. These characters were hilarious! Imagine a lot of pop culture references, ridiculous internal thoughts, inappropriate banter during the worst of times, and tons of jokes. Gosh, I laughed so much! Yeah, there's tons of action and drama, but the love and friendship were what really drove this story. These are the elements that kept me reading for 18 books. These words drew me in from the start, tickled my funny bone, warmed my heart, and folded me in as an unofficial member of Team Bolt.
As much as this saga had to do with Reece and Emma, this particular volume was all about Lux for me. I can't wait for you to meet him and to be dazzle with his awesomesauce. Lux is EVERYTHING!! Honestly, you need to read this volume to find out the many ways this character is amazing and fall in love with him as deeply and profoundly as I have.
I cannot believe this saga is over. I'm both happy and sad at the same time. Getting to the end was a bittersweet moment, but the journey was one to remember. Reece went from a heartbreaking playboy to a heartbroken loner to a heart full family man. His transformation only made me love him more. And Emma... this girl grew up right before my eyes and I loved her devotion to the love she shared with Reece. With a bevy of interesting and must-know side characters, I can only hope to see everyone again soon!

I waited a few days after finishing this book to get my thoughts in order! As a fan of Marvel and all things Superhero, I easily fell in love with the superhero Bolt! His process of becoming Bolt, if shown on the screen may have taken 5 minutes but was described in excruciating detail throughout his saga in this series! When he meets Emmaline, their attraction is immediate but for Reece - aka Bolt- a painful choice. What will his mutations do to this beautiful women!! They soon find out and so begins the beautiful, transcendent love story of Reece Richards & Emmaline Crist!! Throughout all the trials and tribulations of this couple there is one constant - love!! That all comes to a conclusion in Light - the final book! In Light we find Reece and Emma married and expecting!! The transformation of characters throughout this series is inspirational. You not only fall in love with the main characters of this series, but all of the sub-characters as well. Angel surprises us with visiting characters from other books that tie her world of phenomenal characters together and I loved that the most!! In Light she wraps up this beautiful, breathtaking, heartbreaking, joyful journey in spectacular fashion as only she can do! If you haven’t read this 6 book series - you need to! It. Is. Everything!! Instead of stars, I’m giving lightning bolts, but it’s definitely 5 star!! ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️

An end is only a beginning in disguise....
Angel Payne is a true goddess. This series was stunning, awe-inspiring and ground breaking. From the moment Reece and Emma met they knew they had each others' "more". The battles they fought together against an evil sadistic and corrupt woman named Faline were EPIC, gripping and gut wrenching. What a rush to envision Bolt, Flare and their son Lux all standing together to kick butt and sacrificing everything to abolish the poison and heinous plans that Feline had in store for world domination.
It was difficult and sad knowing that their story came to a close, but Angel beautifully brought it to a magnificent one. This series made an unforgettable impact on me in more ways than I can fully describe.
Because it's over, smile because it happened.....

Holy cow! I can’t possibly write a review that is worthy enough to express how utterly amazing this book and this series is. To say that Light is an epic conclusion seems like an understatement. I read this without interruption in one sitting. It is gripping, exciting, hot, action packed, and I could not put it down. I absolutely loved it.

A party with their unknowing neighbors celebrating a cause close to their hearts turns bizarre and terrifying when the date of their first RRO recipient Calvin, turns into a puppet for Falline.
Emma runs and Reece is right behind her as is Calvin, who has no idea what he just jumped into.
Reece and Emma have battled so much together. But this may be their hardest battle yet...the fast, frightening and illuminating arrival of their wonder child!
Surprises abound before, during and after this monumental birth. Amazing and impossible surprises.
This is the most jaw-dropping segment yet! What they go through and then the joys they are drenched in are astounding!
But the quietness of the Consortium is terrifying.

One super surprising child and a new discovery of monumental proportions! Normal parenting cannot truly apply when dealing with a child of lightning and solar powers. But the Richard's try their best to keep Lux in check.
But an astounding discovery, a pair of cherub children and an unearthing of something they never hoped to find have Reece, Emma, and the entire Team Bolt scrambling to right a wrong.
Just when you think things will quiet down and you will have a little peace up pops the Queen of evil.
LIGHT-18
A frightening encounter and the near loss of yet another team member have all hands on deck and everyone in battle-ready mode. Team Bolt-Honor Bound all accounted for. But a surprise visit and an even more surprising proposition have them all rethinking the battle plans.
Overwhelming, heartbreaking moments nearly crumble our couple. But they rise with more strength and determination to save those they love and end the evil that is Falline. Team Bolt, Team Honor Bound, and even a criminal crew are out for the hide of the queen of the consortium!
From a Misadventure to a full-on Saga, Angel Payne has taken us on an unbelievable Marvel World worthy ride. I strapped in at the beginning and gleefully rode to its conclusion. This series has given me smile, giggles, belly laughs, heartbreak, so much pleasure and more that I can't just summarize all I feel. Reece Richards, Emmalina Paisley and everyone in these books has earned a place in my heart as friends and family. Thank you, Angel, for giving us this awesome amazing ride!

It is so hard to write this review.

This book is everything and a bag of chips.
I have fallen in love with Reece and Emma from the very beginning and Angel has done a fantastic job wrapping up this series.

This series has left me feeling all kinds of emotions. I remember the day that Angel announced she was expanding Misadventures with a Superhero to a full length book series. I remember being bolted when the first volume released. I fell in love with the sexy, charismatic Reece and the headstrong and sweet Emma. I could feel the passion, the love, the heat coming through each volume I read as well as all the frustration and fears they had as they fought against the Consortium over and over again.
Seeing them come together, support each other, and getting even closer than I thought was possible has made them one of my favorite couples which is why it was so hard for me to finish the book. I got through it but what a ride they took me on.
Light is everything I was hoping for as the last volume of this amazing, electrifying series. These lovebirds are at a phase in their lives where they are just a normal couple who are excited and anticipating the addition to their new, little family. However, knowing there is still danger lurking, they get sent to an intense mission to bring down the rest of their enemies. They will do anything they can to make sure their new life will be protected and to stop the bad guys once and for all.
Angel did an AMAZING job wrapping up this incredible saga and it left me feeling complete and happy with their story.
If you are looking for a superhero romance, this is one saga you should definitely read. It’s original, suspenseful, sexy and just phenomenal! Thank you Angel, for sharing these two with us and sending me on this incredible journey.

Reece and Emma Richards didn't expect to be pregnant the moment they were married. Nor did they realize that the pregnancy would be as fast as it was. They have loved every moment of it, though, and eagerly anticipate the birth of their baby.
But their eagerness and excitement is laced with tension, apprehension, and nerves. The Consortium hasn't made a move in months, and Faline is nowhere to be found, even though her army of brainwashed groupies is steadily growing in number. This doesn't ease the feeling of impending dread that the couple are feeling.

Wow...just wow. Angel Payne brought so much Flare, emotion, and beauty to the last book in this Saga. It just leaves you almost speechless. I have read over 500 books in the past year and the story of Reece and Emma make you feel like you are right there with them cheering for the good things and hurting when they hurt. This book and Saga are well worth the money, the time to read and enjoy!

This Bolt series has been a soul searching adventure for Reece Richards. I am happy to report that Light contains the conclusion that the readers have come to expect from this winding superhero saga. This last trilogy of books bring several happy life-altering surprises, the defeat of evil in a spectacular fashion, and a happily ever after that brings the ultimate awww from your romance novel-loving heart. The Richards family and Team Bolt have a page-turning adventure that is sure to keep you entertained!

I’m a HUGE Angel Payne fan, but when I read Misadventures with a Superhero (the FIRST Bolt book) I became slightly obsessed. This series is everything a nerdy fan girl could want. I’m really hoping that we see more in depth books from other characters and thereby we get see more of Reece and Emma and see how Lux, Ira and Mis grow. I really can’t say enough praise for this series and the ending was perfect. Thanks for another great read Angel. Now I’m sad that’s it’s over.

Without giving any spoilers, this book is EVERYTHING!!! What a great ending to an absolutely fantastic saga. Like all great stories, this one came to an end. It may be over, but it is not forgotten and it will be in my heart forever. I applaud Angel for her wonderful words that left a deep mark on my heart. And can I just say how excited I was to see the Honor Bound Men in here too?!?! Thank you for such a great journey. It was phenomenal! Ride the lighting!!! Team Bolt for life!!!

Angel has outdone herself with this book. Watching Reece and Emma grow as their story progressed was amazing. There were so many surprises in this book and I loved each one and how each character had a part to play. I really loved seeing some names that hadn’t been mentioned before as well as some returning favorites.

Simply amazing! Angel Payne did it again and didn't leave fans disappointed. I almost didn't want to to read Light because I knew that after I did the series would be over. But I am so glad I did. Emma and Reece have been through a lot of crap together and if anyone deserves happiness it's them. To an amazing series!

WOW! At first I thought I missed a book but oh my goodness. This is such a great story and an even better ending to the story.. I really wish more people would understand just how powerful LOVE is... Didn't see some of the twists and turns but excellent read.

Wow, I can't believe this is it. I've waited a few days to write the review because I just can't put into words what this series has meant to me. Angel Payne really put her heart and soul into this project and it shines through on every single page. I wasn't always a superhero fan, but picked up everything superhero after reading the first book. Reece and Emmalina have been such a pleasure to read about from their meeting, to every trial and tribulation they have experienced together, to their love blooming into something all consuming.

In part 16 we welcome someone epic, the consortium is at an all time quiet which is concerning, and we watch them begin an intense journey. In part 18, we have frightening encounters and challenges that we experience with our beloved team bolt. We finally get to our conclusion and I lost my mind.

That was an EPIC conclusion to the Bolt Saga. I am still trying to wrap my mind around the fact that this is the final book in the series.
Light picks up with Reece and Emma living in hiding. They are expecting a child and should only be feeling happy. But their happiness has its limits. Faline is still out there. And they never know when she is going to attack next.

What can I say about this book? It hit every emotion from crying to laughing and every step in between. I tried to slow down when reading this one because I knew it was the end of Reece and Emma's story. But what a story. From the moment you jump back into their crazy life and all the drama surrounding them, you feel like you are living it with them. Bolt and Flare make the perfect pair. Not just with their powers but with their ultimate love for each other and their family and friends. They were always close to equals but not there is no one that can say their souls aren't a perfect match. Now all they want is to live happily ever after with their extraordinary child. But Faline throws them another curve ball. New discoveries are made that bring forth Reece's worst nightmares. This time Emma is with him for it all and they can't be stopped. Just when you think things can't possibly get more complicated, a new twist is thrown in that puts Reece and Emma in even deeper protection mode. Faline is no match for their powers when they are together especially when people close to them are in danger. The way this story ends is everything I hoped for and more. Maybe we will get lucky enough for a spin-off series.

LIGHT SAGA Parts 16, 17, & 18 By Angel Payne
This is such a hugely satisfying conclusion to this Saga. Angel has done a great job of creating a superhero; Bolt and his counterpart Flare in the romance world, with great banter, suspense, intensity, and a dastardly villain. Emmalina and Reece have great smoking hot chemistry. They are an awesome couple, and even the secondary characters Sawyer and Lydia are wonderfully fleshed out. I cannot adequately say how much I loved this story. It’s fast paced, entertaining, enthralling and is a great representation of the awesome work I have come to expect from Angel Payne. I am anxious to sit down and read everything without a wait time in between now. I will certainly miss Reece and Emmalina. Thank you for another great read Angel, 5 stars is not even enough!

Get ready to get on a roller coaster of emotions starting uphill and plunging down only to be swept right back up towards the sky. Always having the perfect way to describe what's going on; getting you swept into the main characters, believing that you're right there with them, fighting every battle and feeling every emotion.
Reece and Emma have a lot to deal with from the beginning, but that doesn't stop the affection they show each other through all the obstacles that get thrown infront of them time and time again. Tornados also in their path, bringing back nemeses that one just wishes will go off and NEVER come back. However, love never falters when it comes to super powers.
This book is a HIT and the perfect end to a fantastic collection.

Light by Angel Payne is Volume Six with Parts 16, 17 & 18 in the Bolt Saga. This continues the story of Reece and Emma, so you really should read the previous books to fully enjoy this one.
This book picks up with Emma and Reece excited for the child they are to have but it is overshadow by the danger they are facing. Of course their story is continuing to be in crisis due to the threats but this book does set their story to rest with the end of this series. I have started with the first book until this one so I have mixed feelings with not having the next book to look forward too. But I will be looking for more books from this author!

I had to wait a couple of days after I finished this EPIC book to get my emotions in order. With that being said.. OMFG!! What an EPIC ending to an EPIC series. I have loved Reese and Emma since the very first book, And I love LUX just as much.In this installment we learn all kinds of new things.. Thank you Angel for letting us share this world with you, I have no idea what I am going to do now that Bolt is done.

Could not get enough of this jaw dropping, heart pounding, action packed conclusion to one of my all-time favorite series that captured my heart from book one and never let it go... this journey has been so epic from beginning to achingly heartwarming end. This epic journey kept me guessing around every exciting turn in the thrilling road. Loved it!!!
