The Farris triplets are taking their cold case business international...

When no-nonsense police officer and champion biathlete, Nina Farris, is approached by the Australian Federal Police to stop a suspected terror attack at the Winter Olympics in Beijing, she is hesitant. Even knowing her identical triplet sisters, Lizzie and Carrie, will be there to help with the investigation does nothing to ease her anxiety. Because, there is one competitor she absolutely does not wish to see . . .

Andrei Strasinski, Russian secret agent, has been commanded to use his dual citizenship and go undercover to compete for the Australian Winter Olympic biathlon team. Which means competing closely with the one woman he can't forget - the one he betrayed. Tormented by his dark past and the lies he was forced to tell Nina whilst undercover, he knows he must come clean about everything, even if it means turning her away from him forever.

With the terrorist closing in, friends in peril, and time running out, Nina and Andrei will have to face their history to stop the bomber and earn the chance of a future.

A.K. Leigh (aka Alicia Leigh and Leigh Hatchmann), is an Australian romance author, Amazon #1 bestselling non-fiction author, and professional writing coach.

She is an unrepentant dreamer and romantic. To add some spice to that sugary mix, she is also a trauma survivor, hyperlexic, and identical triplet.

As part of her PhD research, A.K. has identified the romance subgenre coined Post-Trauma Romance. This is an exciting development for romance writers and academics. She is also the leading Post-Trauma Romance expert, researcher, and author.

A.K.'s master's degree thesis on the structure of romance novels led to her latest non-fiction book, THE ROMANCE NOVEL FORMULA, releasing 7th December 2021.

Her romance fiction transports you into a world of cozy mystery, heart-pumping suspense, dark crime, magical supernatural, and dizzying time travel – all wrapped around a sweet (and sometimes sexy) romance. Her non-fiction titles help you improve your writing craft.

Nina, Carrie and Lizzie are identical triplets. They run a cold case detective agency in Australia. Nina is also a police officer and biathlete. She and her sisters have been asked to go to Beijing to the Olympics, undercover to stop a bomb threat. Nina will be competing as part of her cover. She hopes to win the gold this time. She is having doubts about going as Andrei Strasinski, another biathlete and former lover will be competing as well. He is from Russia, but has duel citizenship and will be competing for Australia. It's been eight years, but when they run into each other at the training facility, the old feelings are there. He has been told by a secret agency that he works for to stay away from Nina or there will be serious repercussions. He is looking for illegal firearms and is undercover as well. When he is ordered to seek out the bomber, that put's him and Nina on the same side. He has secrets that he knows Nina will never forgive him for when she finds out. Training together puts them in close contact. They realize they can't forget what they had. Who is behind the bombings? Is it someone on the team or even Andrei? I loved all the research in this book. I had never heard of a biathlete until this. Looked it up and learned something new. I love the Farris sisters or the Triple Terror that they don't want to be called. mystery, intrigue and the Olympics. Will definitely read the rest of the books in this series. I received this book from Net Galley and Escape Publishing for a honest review. The opinions are my own.
