Like your favorite Hallmark Christmas movie...only way more gay.

A Dragon In Denial...

Sebastian Wallace spread his wings (literally) and left Vale Valley for business school in the city the moment he was able. Ambitious and full of big ideas, he wanted to find his own place in the world. With an MBA under his belt and a startup business venture in New York, things are looking up. Until he gets the call that his mother has passed away and left him The Dozing Dragon, her bed and breakfast, in the will. Sebastian returns to his hometown, hoping to make it a quick trip. But when he reconnects with a sweet omega in the Valley, everything changes.

A Haunted Omega...

Will Sterling can see things no one should. In a town full of shifters and other paranormals, you'd think seeing ghosts would be no biggie. Afraid of his own power, Will does his best to live a "normal" life and keeps himself busy at the local garden shop. But things are starting to change in Vale Valley. The yearly fireworks show ended five years ago when a stray rocket sent the place up in flames. And now The Dozing Dragon's sudden closure fills Will with dread for what might come next. When the owner's son returns to town, dare he hope for a better future?

With Sebastian's help, can they save the Dozing Dragon and bring back the fireworks in time for Christmas? And does Will's secret power hold the key to both?

Mated Under The Mistletoe is the first book in a multi-author series about Vale Valley, a small town open to everyone in need of love and a home. Each installment can be read as a standalone.

It contains way too many dirty jokes, plants with a mind of their own, mpreg, and more sweets than Willy Wonka's factory. Pull up a chair, grab your hot cocoa, and settle in for this heartwarming holiday read!

Connor Crowe grew up reading stories about dragons, magic, and adventure. He often liked to imagine himself as a character in those stories, and as he grew older he began to write some of them down. He couldn't just write any old fantasy, though. As a die-hard romantic, he tells stories of men finding true love amidst adversity.

When you read a Connor Crowe book, you know you're getting action-packed fantasy mpreg that will make your heart race in more ways than one ;)

**2.5 Stars**

This is the first book released in a multi-author series based in a town called Vale Valley.

Sebastian is a dragon who left home to go live in the city. He has denied his dragon for years. When his mother passes away leaving her bed and breakfast to him, he returns home with the intention of selling and going back to the city. But he reconnects with a sweet omega, Will, and begins to doubt his decisions.

This was sweet with some funny moments, but I found something lacking. I never really got a feel for Sebastian. I also felt like there were some things missing. I can't quite put my finger on it but I just needed something else.

I will definitely be checking out the other authors' books in the series though.

This was book 1 in the "Vale Valley" series. Sebastian Wallace left home after high school and never looked back he turned his back on his mother and the Valley he also turned his back on his Dragon because he is a dragon shifter. Will is a witch just wants peace he sees spirits. When his mother dies Sebastian returns to the Valley he has guilt for being gone so long and never telling her how he feels. When one of the ghost tells him about Nellie's passing Will goes to the Dozing Dragon to see for himself he meets Sebastian. A lot has changed since Sebastian left when these two get trapped together they are attracted to each other but Sebastian wants to sell and go back to NYC. While under mistletoe they kiss and Will goes into heat. This was a good read these two get hot and heavy but Will doesn't want to get to close because he doesn't want to get hurt. This was my first time reading this author this book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading more books in this series.

3.5 stars for me. This was cute, and I love that all these authors are writing stories that take place in the same little town.

Sebastian is a dragon who left Vale Valley years ago to get away and make a name for himself. When he comes home, he meets Will, a human omega, and starts finding reasons to maybe stick around Vale Valley and not return to the big city.

This was a sweet story. I do wish there had been a bit more depth to the characters - like, the details to their lives, their pasts, families, etc. I know that this is a novella and there will be other stories in the same town, but it just seemed like something was missing to giving the characters a fully rounded backstory or something.

This is a sweet fluffy Christmas tale. The story was cute, but totally forgettable. I did like the town of Vale Valley and want to check out some of the other books by different authors.

I am going to give it a 3.8 stars

There's nothing like a sweet fluffy Christmas themed book and dice it up with a Dragon shifter and an adorable human Omega that can see ghost .... I absolutely loved this book but, keep in mind its not perfect but, because its a short read it worked. Between November and December nothing have to be perfect it just have to make my heart feel all warm and fuzzy♥️♥️♥️♥️

This was just the sweetest little book. Oh my gah. Just loved it. It was incredibly romantic, but not without some angst. And I got a laugh at the end, that has my stomach still hurting and me crying. I don't want to give anything away, but let's just say I sounded a lot like Will in the cursing department.
Sebastian ran far and hard as soon as he could to get out of Vale Valley. He wanted to make a name for himself somewhere and he set off and did it. He thought he was happy, kind of, until a phone call rocked his world. His mom died, and all the things he wanted to say, even I love you, was now gone. Rushing home, he finds everything has been left to him and he's torn on what to do. His dragon is saying stay, but the rest is saying his life is in NY. Until Will comes back into his life. Challenged by Will to kiss him under the mistletoe, Sebastian dives in and life cha he's even more. This is his mate. How can he leave? But how can he stay? Will, with a little Christmas magic and the help of the Valley, do all they can to make everything special for Seb. Even his mom's memorial. Will just hopes this will keep Seb here.
I love these guys. I feel bad for Sebastian though. Sometimes we spend so much time running to make a name for ourselves or be better than what we think where we are, that we forget where we came from and those who love us. In some cases anyway. Like Sebastian. Sometimes you just have to run and not look back like Will. I felt bad for both of them. Will felt like a freak and had lost the one person that was like a mom to him and Seb just lost his mom. Life isn't easy.
But even when the doubts were there for Sebastian, he knew Will was for him. And he fought for it. Even with himself. Will, just wanted to be loved and for this to be real. And my heart broke for him at that.
But they knew they had something and it was worth fighting for. And they did in the ways they knew how. I just loved it.

Dragons Yummy

3 1/2 stars. I love the entire concept of this series. I liked the characters and the town. I would have appreciated a little more background on Will and more info on what Seb did with his business in the city. I want to read more of this series.

3,5 csillag

A sorozat minden kötetében más páros/trió lel a szerelemre mindenféle kombinációban.

Nincsenek nagy bonyodalmak, itt igazából Sebastian döntése a legfőbb kérdés: marad vagy megy? Ebben a döntésben próbál neki segíteni a város polgármestere, Rosemary, Will, Sebastian sárkánya, elhunyt édesanyja szelleme és szinte a fél város.

First Mpreg of 2019

This was one of the best mpreg stories I’ve read in a long time. Since this is part of a series, I appreciate the length of the story. Sebastian and Will made a cute couple. I wish Nellie had lived because she seems like she would have been a fun grandmother. I’m excited to check out the rest of the books in this series.

Pretty much what I expected. An indecisive alpha dragon and a ghost seeing omega. Seemed like anything bad had already happened or just mentioned in passing. It was sweet but felt rushed. The ghosts were interesting and Nathan’s story sounded like fun. Fluff Christmas story.

I can tell that this is going to be one of those series that has the potential to be beyond epic! This is actually my second Vale Valley book even though it’s the first in the series.

Christmas Romance

A short and simple Christmas tale, with heroic characters, friendly town folks and that promise for the future. Limited character development and a mostly complete story though there are a couple story threads which are never closed.

Is it me only or was this book really under-written?

Kept checking the reviews and being baffled.

This book has serious probs. And I mean core ones. Shifting POVs, missing backbone setting, vague world building.

I wont go into the super Instalove.

The funeral scene was very confusing. I kept thinking is this Will or Seb POV?

Also what type of Omega is Will? If he isn't a shifter then what is he?

Seb knew Will talks to ghosts out of the blue while they are walking to the funeral. I don't get it. Will left home since he couldn't talk to anyone about his weird skill, so it's a big thing, then suddenly he told Seb and no flare or drama about it. Talk about parachute info.

I had serious hope for this series. And was blindsided like totally by the delivery. The quality is beyond indie. It's like a school essay for a 12yr old. Which I would seriously admire if this book was written by a 12 yr old. Maybe should dig more in the background of this series - maybe this is really the case.

All in all a bad experience.

Cute! Exactly how a shifter, fated mate, MPREG Christmas story should be.

Plus, Dragons!

I think I will visit Vale Valley again very soon, once I can figure out some sort of order :)

I was supposed to read other books in this series, but I felt compelled to read at least the First so I could have a backstory before I attempted the remaining Vale Valley (VV) books. I love Dragon stories, even when their arrogance can get on your nerves. Our Omega MC worked in a garden & landscaping shop in VV. Like many others he'd come to the Valley for refuge, but unfortunately he didn't find all the peace he sought. Being able to hear, see, and feel the chilly touch of spirits had been scary & disconcerting since he was a boy, he'd hope maybe they'd leave him alone in VV. No such luck:0(

The return of a hometown son to settle his parent's estate and make funeral arrangements gave the pestered Omega a chance to help stoic, but grieving former town resident than seemed & felt more like a stranger. Sebastian had forgotten so much about small town hospitality after big city living. Being back in VV made his Dragon restless. And the cute Human stirred other feelings. Something Seb definitely did not want or need especially since he was going to be returning to his hard fought for successful career in New York City.

This is a great introduction to the Vale Valley series. Some main characters were introduced. Town traditions and favorite locales were visited. Christmas Miracles abound. Hardened hearts were softened. A banked flame really merely embers was once again ignited to warm up a Omega.

Encouragement was given to revisit one's roots - not just regretting coming home sooner. Fear of loving a man that might stick around. Realizing how cruel it is keeping a very special young Omega hanging when he'd already made his mind up. This is a sweet Mpreg tale, by an author I plan to read a lot more of. It's fitting Connor Crowe start off this series with a flourish or rather the strong beat of a Dragon's wing.

Despite this book being so short I didn't manage to finish it.
I didn't expect a slow paced romance with a fated mates book but this was so over the top that I just couldn't bear with it.
If they had met at the start of December, mated at Christmas and Sebastian decided to stay in Vale Valley at the festival by new year's eve, I might have liked this book. But instead...

In the book there were sentences like "I've never felt like this before.", "We've grown closer so fast but it feels right.", "My home is with you.", "I should listen to what my heart tells me." etc. and my mind just kept repeating: "You met hours ago... hours!"
That ended up annoying me so much that I had to stop. This is mega-hyper-insta-love, which is not my thing at all.
Like I mentioned above: Had the book happened over a month, it would still have been fast paced, but more believable and with that more enjoyable.

This was cutsy? Is that a word? *grin*

There were a lot of things that I liked about this story. It was short and sweet, and the MCs worked well for me! But, this story was lacking in one very important thing... details; a huge pet peeve for me! I understand that this is the first book set in the Vale Valley series and I am assuming that we will get more information as the stories continue, but I felt like there were bits and pieces missing... information that was required so that I could fully understand what the heck was going on and why things were happening in this story... frankly, it was a bit frustrating... grrr ;p

Outside of my rant from above, the missing words, the use of lower case on the word "I" and various other typos... this really was an entertaining story! Both MCs were cotton candy sweet and I was impressed with the way the dragon hoarding was presented! I feel that I must have been a dragon in a past life since we seem to have so much in common, well... the hoarding, at least, even if I only hoard books! *snort*LOL!!!

I really am looking forward to seeing what the other authors bring to the story of Vale Valley! :D

This is the first book in a series where each book is by a different author, set in the same town of Vale Valley. I've liked this approach with other series so I thought I'd try this one.

The MCs
Sebastian - Alpha Dragon shifter. Left Vale Valley years ago to try his luck in the big city. He's a bit estranged from his family. He suddenly finds himself back in Vale Valley, the last place he wants to be after devastating personal news.
Will - Omega ? - He's an omega psychic...ghost whisperer I guess? He's definitely not a shifter. Will is sweet, cute and runs the local flower shop.

The premise. Sebastian comes home to deal with a family emergency. Falls in instalove with Will. That's about it. There's no angst, really. And the bulk of the book is them doing cute things together. Oh and spoiler....there's mpreg.

It was fluffy holiday fare. I didn't hate it. But I wouldn't re-read it for any reason either. I'll keep going with the series though. I'd like to see what the other authors come up with.

Great First Vale Valley Title

This was an introductory book about a dragon shifter who had left Vale Valley to make his way in New York City but gets called back unexpectedly. We get to see a good amount of what makes Vale Valley special as Sebastian rediscovers what he left behind when he left right after high school to go out into the human world.

There is a very good romance woven into the story as Sebastian, an alpha, meets Will, a shy omega, and they kiss under the mistletoe (hence the title) which brings about another occurrence and that establishes yet another consequence and so on and so on...

It was an easy read because the story held together well with good transitions and appropriate emotions in certain situations so no jarring tones as sometimes happens but not here. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my time reading Mated Under the Mistletoe and look forward to following up on Seb and Will later in the other Vale Valley books.

Sometimes, you can go home again. Sebastian's PA, Hanna took scheduled Christmas leave. Sebastian and his team were under the gun to land a new contract. His company, Wallace Consulting was a #1 up and coming company in NYC. Seb, fought his heritage as a dragon, trying to keep him hidden, never to let free. He had few regrets. He missed Vale Valley, especially Rosemary Vale. Then he had unexpected news and had to return to Vale Valley. Will, owner of the garden and landscaping shop, saw dead people. Rather, he saw their ghosts. He went to the Dozing Dragon to check on the news and saw Sebastian. Will Will take a chance on getting to know Seb formally? How fast is Sebastian planning on getting back to NYC? What will he do with the Dozing Dragon? Can Will anchor him? Great story. The author did an excellent job showing how the characters step out of their comfort zones and explore new opportunities. Nicely done!

This was my first read by this author and I will be reading more. Sebastian and Will came from a mystical town, but were very different from each other. While Sebastian yearned to break free, Will loved the little Hamlet and all it provided. Sebastian loved his business and living among the hustle of NYC, Will loved the quiet and serenity Vale Valley. Although Sebastian had to return for the unfortunate circumstance of his mother's death , once he sold her in, he was ready to go back to the Big Apple, until his path literally crossed with Will. They felt the attraction instantly, the Alpha and Omega ready to bond under the Mistletoe. Their story was one of passion and the inner yearning to be mated. Will bring a paranormal and Sebastian being a dragon shifter did not keep them apart. A really good HEA.

Stubborn dragon loving omega

This was a good book, I loved the Christmas theme of this series and the flow of this writing made me keep my interest.

Character breakdown;

Sebastian: I didn't care for him at first how could you deny your shifter nature and call yourself human? How dare you deny that animal within you? Lol he did redeem himself so I'll give him a small break.

Will: I loved his sensitive side, his shyness but what really got me was the cursing sailor he became at the end lol. Dude was ruthless! I would have loved to have seen him use his gift a little more but still enjoyed it.

Great book, good pace and a few bits of raw emotions. Would definitely recommend.

Warm dragon shifter mm romance with a happy Christmas ending. A loss leads to a homecoming and love.
Typos: The book was not (adequately) proofread after dictation. Almost every page has a sentence fragment after a question mark or exclamation point (What? She asked, No! He said), irregular and inconsistent capitalization, less/fewer mix-up, verb loathe used for adjective loath, inconsistent verb tense use, roared spelled raored, dragon death ritual repeated almost word for word, Will's shameful secret is casually mentioned by Sebastian without the reader having heard the revelation, heart used for hearth, cringe used for cringe-worthy, laid used for lay.

Sebastian Wallace, a dragon shifter, left his home of Vale Valley at 18 to 'spread his wings' and branch out on his own. Will Sterling, an omega who is afraid of his powers, can see ghosts. When Sebastian's mother dies, he is forced to move back to Vale Valley to take care of her estate. During that time, he and Will meet.

This was a cute story with a sweet HEA. I liked how the plot was executed and didn't leave anything hanging. The way the author wrapped in a few of the dragon historical traditions was amazing. I would have liked to know more of these different traditions and why Will was so afraid of his powers. All in all a good short story and I'll probably read it again.

Wow

This is the first time I've read this author so I can sometimes be real picky on mpreg books but this one I truly liked. Maybe it was the fact they were mates that made me like it. Truth be told I'm sometimes disappointed when a pregnant omega is the first thing that happens. I actually liked this story. Sebastian has been trying to be the big CEO but his mother's passing brings him back. He the realizes that maybe you can come home and it doesn't hurt to find your mate in the process. Sebastian is sweet and I love that he wasn't the stereotype of an omega. If you're not a fan of mpreg I say give this one a read it will change your mind.

I want to live in Vale Valley

I have been so excited about this series but I wanted to wait to start reading so I could read them back to back. I'm glad I did because from now til Christmas I get to be immersed in Vale Valley goodness.

There were definitely a few titles that I was super excited about. This was one of them. I mean how can you not with a dragon as one of the characters? I really liked how Sebastian changed through the course of the story and found his true home. Will was adorable throughout. He had me laughing whenever the ghosts showed up. This was a really sweet story and a great start to the series. Can't wait to jump into the next one.

super cute Hallmark like book

Sebastian the grumpy dragon and Will the shy paranormal are adorable. They definitely don’t have enough time to get to know each other, but that’s just a side effect of the fated mate trope.
If you like dragon shifters you will like this. And financial and professional struggles do show themselves, which is nice for a change.
I definitely would like a bit more of Will’s backstory, but the author does a good job of making you feel like he’s an old friend and you don’t need the details because you already know the most of it.
