This is so unbearably boring. The floors of tutorial are short and generally aren’t interesting. The protagonist is very uninteresting. The side characters only exist in messenger format and rarely do they appear in person. They are also uninteresting. This story is told in the form of flash backs, flash forwards, and side stories. Nothing really happens except boring fight scenes and bad slice of life. There isn’t any overarching goals or plot. The protagonist is primarily indecisive, depressed, and incurious.

Some complaints:

I don’t mind minor nationalism in novels, but it was done bad here. In this story, Korean people are the only ones that have basic logic and varying characteristics. Therefore, they are by far the strongest and have the best lives compared to all other countries.

The protagonist is extremely depressed and weak willed when it comes to his friendships. He also doesn’t make great decisions most of the time. As an example, he finds that he is so lonely that it’s causing him to literally go insane. He has a skill that will summon a friend of his to be with him for less than two months, but he can only use the skill 3 more times. He then discovers that he has two mystery boxes that will give him whatever he most wants. He could use this to get more usages out of that skill, or a similar skill, etc. Instead, he decides that what he most wants is a weapon. He likes the weapon so much that he decides to use the second box to get a copy of that weapon……

While reading the book I can't stop feeling sorry for the protagonist for being the only one stuck in the hell mode. I don't like how the writer wrote the book with flash backs and present time alternately. I rather have the story progress from the beginning till end. By having this way of storytelling I guess it won't get the reader suffocating from bordom? To me I feel like wanting the story to progress faster and catch up to the present time so that I get the whole picture clearly. I'm not sure what was the writer intended with this. Anyhow the overall story was okay somewhat. It's just too lonely.

The concept and characters are really good, unfortunately while waiting for the main story to start I realized that the endless flashbacks IS the ENTIRE story. It's like when the reader is ready with the hammer but the moles just don't pop out. There is a transition from weak and exciting to OP and boring at around floor 13. Everything after that just get beaten instantly and the skills that gets pulled out of his ass no longer follow the rules. Any Fantasy setting, where they fk the rules of the magic system is an instant -5 out of 10. The author tried like many writers and got close, but didn't manage to bust through the 4th wall, I'm sorry guys.

If you don't like stories that aren't told in a linear fashion, give this book a pass. It frequently goes back and forth from present to various past events. The two thirds of the book when he is in the tutorial is the most interesting. Things got a little... odd when

Overall it was an interesting story.

Very fun to read. It's taken a lot of points from other more popular novels but it incorporated them well. The protagonist's struggles are enjoyable to read.
Will make a more detailed review after reading further

Might have had potential but the translator did a terrible job.

Calling it quits at chapter 60, my brain can't take the translation anymore.

The story might get confusing at first because there are times when they are talking about him from the 60th floor and most of the stoy is about how he got there so there are two different timelines

It wouldve got 4/5 if the end parts wasnt so boring and pointless, It truly felt like a chore to finish the story. Ho Jae didn't resummon his lizard and frog friend, the fuck.
