A marvelous read. It captures the feeling and emotion behind a lot of experiences in a country haunted by 37 years of dictatorship. Much like the old man's exit, it leaves one wondering what next for the beloved country.

Biting , brave and unmoved. Philani pens down a collection of very powerful verses. He's unsympathetic, he's language raw with anger , passion Philtrum throws at its readers a buck of ice cold water to wake them up from their almost internal slumber. Explores 37 years of Mugabe's rule in ways never read before.
