Our main character, Ford, continues to searching for answers and becomes increasingly convinced that events around the world are unfolding as they were foretold more than 2,500 years ago. The Road to Revelation is a fictional book series, that is based on Biblical Prophecy. It chronicles the time preceding the second coming of Jesus Christ. The second volume, The World at War takes place between the opening of the second and third seals described in the The Book of Revelation. Iran (the Persian Ram) has conquered the Middle East and the world is in a state of war not seen since World War II. Soon the antichrist will rise to rule the world, for a short time. Ford discovers more connections between the Books of Daniel, Ezekiel, Revelation, and more. Samantha experiences heart breaking loss and tragedy. The world has become a deadly place and will only get worse before it gets better. Check out The Road to Revelation - The Beginning for the beginning of the story.
There is nothing about this story I didn't like. It is refreshing to read a book that is not afraid to show the possibilities of what will most likely take place. It is inspirational to read a book showing Biblical support of future events. God bless you. Thank you. Can't wait for the next chapter of the end of days.
This series presents end times in a most realistic way. I have read many books on this but find myself wondering about this presentation. Seems very plausible. Look forward to the rest of the story.
Deep! Dark! Depressing! Distressful! Tragedy after tragedy occurs and falls into place as the series of events leads up to the end of time. Very thought provoking. You need a pretty strong mental health system to read this book, or you will be left a basket case and still have 2 books in the series left to go.
This is a pretty easy read and following the characters was pretty easy, though occasionally the author refers back to someone and my memory takes awhile placing who they are. It appears fast paced because the author switches between characters so quickly in short story fashion. If you have a short attention span you would like this book, and this series.
What I like best about the book is how carefully the text follows the interpretations of the bible. The dreams of Daniel, the writings of Matthew, and the prognostications from Revelations. It does seem a little repetitive going back over and over the verses from Daniel and Revelations, by several different authorities, but that was still ok.
I can't wait to read the next book in the series . This is exciting doomday reading, and it makes one think of their own path through life
As a Christian who loves his apocalyptic books, I really enjoy seeing how authors think the Bible’s own prophetic end times will come to fruition. Mr Wellman does a great job in book 2 of keeping the story going. I was surprised to see how he thinks famine will happen and it was a good idea.
My only knock would be the constant repeating of the same scriptures and the explanation of them. I felt like he was trying to get a certain word count sometimes because of that. At the same time, I feel like if you believe in the Bible, you sometimes need to be hit in the head with scripture over and over so you don’t forget it. If that was what he was trying to do to the reader, mission accomplished lol.
The best part is how Clifford T. Well man Jr. was able to incorporate Biblical Prophecy in his book. I wrote down all the research so I can go back and study on my own. I think he is a watcher and I this series is how God is getting his word out. The Bible speaks of a watcher duty to alerting Gods people as Jesus did and Paul, Isaiah, and Ezekiel and others. They were are all watchers. Thank you so much for this, because I have become a beginner in becoming a prayer warrior and this helps me out. Recommend this book to any and everyone. If you are a Christian it is time to get your house in order and this series will help out greatly. I can't wait to start the next book.
This review is on the whole (6book) series. This was a very enlightening and inspirational read. I’ve read quite a few books over the last 50 years about Revelation and the end times since “ The Late Great Planet Earth (Hal Lindsey) and this book interprets and makes it very clear! Written like a novel , the characters and events make it more relatable and easier to understand, not to mention the spiritual advice and encouragement..As a lifelong Christian , this book strengthened my faith and definitely solidified it. Would definitely recommend this book to anyone, regardless of your faith or beliefs, it might be a game changer! Thank you Clifford
Interesting Bible study entwined and woven in concerning the End Times. The only problem I had with this well written novel, was an occasional swear word.
I personally do not find it necessary to have to read the actual swear word.
As a Christian that is something I personally want to stay away from, and so do not like to read such.
I understand it may be to make the work more realistic to life.....but a simple: "He swore" would let me know.
Other than that, I enjoyed this End Times/Tribulation novel.
This book wow i read this in two days and i even made notes. The same verses are repeated but i understand why cause you want people to understand what is happening as you show your faith in God and you walk the walk. Sam and Ford really i gravitate towards them so much, my heart hurt so much for Sam towards the end of the book. I know this is a fiction but the events i see happening like in the book i felt like i was living it with the rest of the characters. I cannot wait to read more of the series and how God is spread through the whole series
Loved this 6 book series! Really helps you imagine how the end of this age can culminate through the lives of the series characters. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a clearer understanding of the book of revelation. I really appreciate how the author references scripture in each chapter, to ground the experiences of his characters and show in practical ways how bible prophesy can play out. The sixth book of the series even goes into the millennial reign...which has always been a challenge to relate to for me. I highly recommend each book in the series!
The book continues from the first and follows the same characters, but we do part with some of them. The death scenes were not explicit, which I appreciate, and the descriptions were enough for me to use my imagination. The author goes into more detail about the end times prophecies out of Daniel, so I figure that he is doing a lot of research for this series. It will be interesting to see what happens next.
This is the second book in the series about the book of revelation and the processes There is a good discussion about the prophecies in the Bible in the book of revelation and the book of Daniel. There four are trying to figure out what it all means. I recommend this book for all who are the joy of fictional account about the end times in the book of revelation. I
Once you read book 1, you become invested in the characters and their outcome. I have quickly moved through the first two books. I only wish they were a bit longer, and some information regarding the spiritual warfare going on at the end times would be amazing. Maybe that is another series. The AntiChrist or Magid is not omnipresent regardless of his attempts to make people believe this in book 2.
This series has a good story line, but I'm praying that my understanding of the Tribulation that Christians are raptured "Pre-Trib" is correct. It's looking either Mid Tribulation or all the way to Post Tribulation that Christians are raptured. Will "The 144,000" show up in this series? I'm going to keep reading...
This KU library selection is a great addition to the series, an engrossing fictionalized version of the end times. There are currently two more books available in the series, which I'll be checking out next. And Wellman has provided some excellent options for supplemental reading, as well.
Very interesting take on the 'End Times' and the prophecies leading up to and during them. The .5☆ I deducted was due to the writing style in certain parts; the history and theology were reading like a textbook and were repetitive. That said the characters are engaging and the tragedies that touch their lives, as well as the rest of humanity, keeps you reading.
I'm really enjoying this new Christian series. This second book is a good follow on to the first. I'm very much looking forward to reading the third book in the series. As I said in my of review book one, there are some titles that are little irritating, but they really don't detract from my enjoyment of this series.
Lots of Bible references and comparisons. Yet still there’s an interesting story line. Skips a lot of survivalist information that other books focus on, and doesn’t go into fallout details…yet anyway in this second book. Makes me want to read more of the Bible to see for myself how things I never would have even noticed, are interpreted.
Again, let me start by saying this author has really introduced me to some very interesting Bible prophecy. He is interesting and doesn’t hold back. This book felt more rushed than the last one but was still good. Off to the next one.
I am ready to read book 3 , I gave this one 5* but I have one complaint. I don't think it's necessary to use crude language and such . It disappointed me and I hope it doesn't continue.
Great book well worth reading and put down a bowl.
This was a very good book. I could hardly put it down, it was very fast pace and the story flowed together well. I will say that this is an end times series like no other and I cannot wait to read the next one.
I really enjoyed this series after the first book I was hooked and needed to buy the series. The author did his home work and tied Bible and fiction into a believable story.
I've read The Road To Revelation book 1 and now book two. Both are very interesting books that are hard to put down. Thankfully there is book three that I photo download and read now.
Very interesting in biblical studies. The flow of the reading is very smooth even while skipping back and forth between characters. Highly recommend. Hard read to put down!
This is an excellent book to read, especially if you like bible prophesy and seeing come true. The author develops strong characters that are fun to follow. Can't wait for the next book in this series!
This series of books seems to be staying very close to the Bible as the events and how they will affect the world. I don't agree about the time of the Rapture but I think it's more important that we are in right standing with Jesus and except for the persecution during the first three years that is what matters. I am enjoying this read.
The second book is even better than the first. I am very excited to read the rest of the series. I have read the prophecies in the Bible, but really enjoyed the story line.
Epic in content and information about end times, written in a page turning story with great characters. Everyone needs to read, but everyone more importantly needs Jesus!
I loved this book. It was always something happening. It keep my attention I finished the box in a day. The book talks of Bible prophesy that are on point and true. I am fixing to download the next book.
I am surprised that a writer in our day and time has the courage to write a novel of the end days and stick closely to the biblical interpretation. Bravo for that. This a great story and has a great cast. Couldn't put it down. Recommended to all.
