Blood Bond Saga #15

Blood Bond: 15

Rate this book
Erin Hamilton follows Dante Gabriel back into hell—the underground compound where he was held for a decade—to confront the woman who held him captive. Finally unmasked, she seems to hold Dante under her influence. Erin has faith in Dante’s strength and determination, though, especially when the mysterious Vampyre Texts reveal their first secret.
Dante struggles to regain his control, even as he grows stronger and the darkness rises within him. He’ll let his captor think she commands him as long as it serves his purpose, but if Erin or anyone else is threatened, all bets are off. He’ll use all his powers against her, whether or not he can master them.
Time is running out, however. Dante must act quickly to free those imprisoned, especially when he learns what his captor has in mind. His new abilities keep those around him protected until she who calls herself Queen plays her trump card. Dante must face one last foe…and only one can emerge undefeated.

Awesome grand finale.
I've loved this series, Erin and Dante were fab characters. There was no end to the twists, turns , surprises and suspense.
I'm sad to be finished the series but it's been an exciting journey and I look forward to what's to come from Helen Hardt.

The suspense hypes up in this book as we go back in the bowels of hell where Dante tries to out smart the evil one who calls herself queen and keep everyone alive and offering freedom to others.

Blood Bond: 15 is a great addition to this amazing series. Re-reading.

The series as a whole was good. I removed two stars because of the BLATANT money GRAB by author and her publisher.
For no particular reason that I can think of, three books, novellas, were all published at once and were sold individually for $2.99 each. Each set of three could have been sold as a full novel for a reasonable e-book price.
But, each set of three that were put out as “parts,” were sold for nine bucks. And there are FIFTEEN novellas. This series sets back readers at a whopping FORTY-FIVE DOLLARS. And, this bitch has the stones to have three more coming out which sort of seems like it’s going to be a lengthy Epilogue. No thanks. I’ll stop here because I’m satisfied knowing the answers to most of the pivotal questions in the books.
I’ll never spend another penny to read this author ever again. Any author who does this to her readers should probably be boycotted until she prices her books competitively.
And the whole saga? Really wasn’t all that great. The author spends a lot of time rehashing the books prior in every book after the first. Probably to fill up space and have enough words to call it a novella.
The blood bond between these two main characters is annoying. There are sex scenes in the most inappropriate of places. In a closet, in an underground dungeon where Dante was held prisoner for 10 years? Really? And the sex scenes become dismally boring after the first three novellas because they are basically copied and pasted over and over.
They are all easy to read but annoying as hell. Could the author mention that Erin is a nurse a few more hundred times? I’m a nurse, I don’t include my job in everything I write or say about myself. Ugh.
The only character who isn’t annoying is Dante’s father who appears in the series as a ghost. He’s a good character. I give my three stars to him.

Note: spoilers in this review!

The series of Blood Bond novellas #13-15 were a total let down. There was so much build up to a grand standoff against the Vampire Queen but it ended up just being awfully repetitive, ridiculous, and unsatisfying. Of course I want to know the secret the council is hiding but I cannot waste anymore time with this series. I quit.

On the rescue mission in the underground bunker: (SO Repetitive!)

- Blood bond: Erin cutting herself to call Dante to her.. at least 3 times this occurred.
- Dante almost succumbing to darkness except at the last moment Erin makes him com back time and again.
- Mentions of Dr. Bonneville’s narcissism and Logan’s mental health over and over again.
- On a rescue mission in an underground bunker crawling with vampire thugs and prisoners Erin and Dante continually stop to have sex while their friends and family patiently wait. At least 4 times! Seriously?? I realize at the heart these are romance novels but there was nothing sexy or that even made sense about these scenes.
- Incapacitating the vampire queen or her thugs and then running away from them. The queen and thugs then come after them again and the cycle repeats. Boring.
- Constant rehashing on past events and conversations. Sure, it makes sense from past books but it kept happening chapter by chapter. It’s purpose almost just seemed to be for page filler.

These were awful books (#s 13-15). The earlier books were full of twists and turns, but these were so incredibly repetitive that things weren’t just happening twice but three and four times. There was so much potential that was thrown out the window. I am not continuing with this series.

Undefeated by Helen Hardt is the final 3 Blood Bond sagas in this story. The story picks up where the last book left off. River, Jay and Erin are underground and know the Queen is and it is Dr. Bonneville. Gabriel seems to be under her control. But Gabriel is stronger than even he knows. Blood bond saga 13 is about what they learn being underground. Everyone they have been looking for are there. As the story goes on we see that Gabriel's powers continue to grow and he discovers what he can do. Saga 14 continues with finding all the missing people. Gabriel has figured out how to get them out but it seems The Queen is still trying to promote her agenda. Saga15 is the final time, the fight between good and evil. Light and dark. A really good story that I have loved from the beginning to the end. It has been many books but I have really enjoyed this book. I am so sorry to see this story coming to an end. 5 stars for me. Hating to see this come to an end. This was a story I couldn't get enough of but it has come to an end. Thank you.

“To those who challenge what they perceive”

This was the dedication I read at the very beginning of the last instalment of the Blood Bond saga.

Nothing is what it seemed in this saga and I will miss Dante, Erin, River, Lucy, Jay, Bea, Abe ... all of the characters Helen created for this paranormal series.

I truly loved every page.

Helen has a way of creating a series while twisting and turning the story in such a manner, that you can’t predict how things will culminate at the end.

I wasn’t sure if I would enjoy this style of romance, paranormal isn’t a genre I tend to go for. But I’m glad I gave it a chance and I hope you will too.

We gain a lot of long awaited answers in this final instalment, however I feel it has been left open-ended so a continuation isn’t completely ruled out.

This series is hot, tense and utterly satisfying to devour. I look forward to reading more books by this talented author.

Ties of Blood....

Seeing someone's light who knows nothing but darkness, that is true love. That is what Erin feels for Dante. In the beginning Dante was struggling with the horrors he experienced at the hands of The Queen. When he met Erin she believed in him, the good in him. It gave him hope and the belief that he could conquer The Queen with her by his side. Dante's father along with Jay, Erin and River kept telling him over and over "Keep the Faith". These are the words that swirled around in his head as he faced The Queen to defeat her.

We get many questions answered, but I feel this story has more to reveal. There were many OMG moments in this last story of the series, but that is what this reader lives for in a book. This was an intense, stimulating series that had you craving for more. Helen Hardt never disappoints and she proved just that yet again with this series.

Once bonded, never broken... that phrase has stuck in my head through every single one of the books. There were twists and turns and holy **** moments in this whole saga that still play out in my mind. If anyone is on the fence about reading this... just do it. You'll thank me later. I got to the last page and just sat there... staring at my kindle...trying to make more pages appear. Start to finish, it captures your attention and takes you on a journey you won't soon forget. I truly enjoyed every single page of Dante and Erin's story. I'm holding out hope that maybe, just maybe there will be a Blood Bond Saga : Six coming our way one day. Much love to Helen for another AMAZING set of books!!

Dante Gabriel and Erin Hamilton

Ohmigosh this book!

The final book in the Blood Bond Saga was intense.

Questions were answered. But at the same time, more questions were asked... Did the Vampyre Text ever give the guidance it was said to give?

Once bonded, never broken. There were times that, Erin and Dante were physically apart, but all it took was one drop of blood, to call Dante to her. The Blood Bond!

Ms. Hardt done a phenomenal job at bringing the the pieces to this paranormal puzzle together, to show us the final picture.

5 out of 5 stars, for this wonderful work of art.

Dante and Erin are moving small groups of people safely out of the compound. Uncle Braeden has been found. The final fight is nearing. Dante wants everyone out of the compound but Erin fights to stay by his side. Can Dante defeat The Queen once and for all?

This final installment wrapped up the series nice and neat, but Helen did leave herself an opening if she should choose to add to the series down the road. This series has taken the reader on so many adventures in order to solve the mysteries of the kidnappings. Love all the characters and wouldn't mind reading more about them.

I enjoyed this whole series up until this last book. It was drawn out and then a rushed ending leaving things open ended. The author stated the saga is completed but there were things that were not answered like what was going on with Bill, there might be some big family secret lingering and the epilogue ends with Dante telling Erin that they are going after the council so how that can be an ending for a series I don’t know. I guess the author wants you to come to your own conclusions but I think she will probably go back and add a book or novella to this. I hope she will.

Everyone dies eventually

The Blood Bond Saga comes to an end in 15, Everyone is saved from the evil vampire conducting experiments on human woman that are defendants from vampires. The majority of questions surrounding the story has answers but some were not! Which is frustrating. The Helen ends it like there is going to be more coming...... Not really a cliffhanger but your left wondering!

The End?!?!?!

Ok, I have stuck with this series and the way it ended kind of left me irritated. I won’t ruin it but I feel like this book left everything in a cliffhanger and in her acknowledgments she says it’s the end. I’m just kind of left flat. I felt the end was rushed. We spent all this time trying to figure things out and then in just a couple of pages, it was over.
Good series but not happy with the ending.

This is where Dante and Erins love story comes to an end and it finishes right where it begins! I do feel how it was left that their story could continue one day. I have absolutely loved this series and I am sad to see it come to an end!! I love how they leaned on each other and were each others light!! Love wins in the end!!!

What a conclusion with a spin-off expected!

So the bad guys are taken care of, hostages are saved, everyone is back to where they were originally meant to be. But our Dante isn't done, he sets his sights on another foe, the Vampire Council. Believing they are up to malicious intention, Dante believes in saving both human and vampire from insidious means.

The books started out being very interesting but as I progressed, I got frustrated with how the story was progrssing. I felt it seemed a bit amaturist with a lot of unnecessary dialog seeming to just extend the storyline. I read all the books because I started them & was interested enough to finish but truthfully, they were just alright.

What erin feels for Dante is true love, and with Erin by his side he believed in himself enough to DEFEAT the queen and save all their loved ones in the process.

This series was hard to finish. It was so repetitive and going over the same stuff over and over again. I would have enjoyed this if a lot of it was edited down and it was maybe six books 10 books but 15 was too much.

Intriguing series. Even though I enjoyed the series, I am disappointed with the haphazard ending. Too many questions left unanswered. Cliffhanger ending with a hint of another series?
