This was pretty cringe worthy. Underage kid & married woman…even if their circumstances were hard, I don’t want to read about hea’s.

Ex-military bikers and hot romance
I loved book one Kincaid, so I decided to grab the box set off Kindle Unlimited to keep reading the series. So far Kincaid and Emmalyn remain my favorite characters but the others begin to grow on you. I really like the idea of a biker club not a gang that is into using their unique skills for helping recover those who have been lost and broken. Instead of the usual drugs and club hoes these alpha males have strong protective streak that seems to seek out and "save" vulnerable women from abuse and mayhem. I would prefer to read about stronger, more sure of themselves women who can hold their own with these very alpha males. But given the circumstances that the female characters find themselves it is more believable that their strength comes over time from surviving these adverse circumstances. And those situations are what creates the suspense and mystery in these stories. There is a lot of steamy sex, in fact these males are either thinking about sex or getting some in their down time. But it didn't overwhelm the plot for which I appreciated . In fact, their previous sexual exploits versus how they felt about the main female character and the sex encounters now was integral to character development. I think it was part of the reason why at first I wanted to bash Shadow, and Kid's heads in but later came to love them for their ability to recognize their mistakes. They grew into better men because of finding the women they love. Overall, this box set kept me reading late into the night and every free moment I could get. It is a great companion on cold winter afternoons. Perfect for curling up on the couch in front of the fireplace with your cup of tea. I was so enthralled I have already ordered the second box set of the series from Kindle Unlimited, which means my TBR list continues to grow! I highly recommend you give Marie James's Cererus MC series a try.

Emmalyn is in a relationship with an abusive husband surviving day by day and looking for an opportunity to escape. Kincade (Diego), the prez of the Cerberus MC, interrupts Emmalyn's husband attacking her and offers her a chance to escape. I enjoyed Kincade & Emm's story, which was a quick read with a bit of tension that kept my attention throughout.
Sindicate: ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 Bryan & Aviana's story is a Novella length quick read. Aviana is struggling to stay afloat when she agrees to go on a date with Bryan. On her way home from her date, Aviana ends up being kidnapped, and Bryan will do anything to find her. Although the storyline is enjoyable because this is such a quick read, I am giving a 3.5 / 5 Star rating, but I am still interested in continuing the series.
Kid: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 Kid & Khloe's story brought more angst to the series, and I am here for it. There was quite a bit of crossover with Sindicate, but you are getting more from Kid's voice leading up to the moments between Kid and Khloe. Don't worry; there is no cliffhanger, but you want to know more about the other characters around the MC. I am giving a rating of 4.5 / 5 Stars
Shadow: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Shadow & Misty's story was about a surprise pregnancy, and to be honest is not really a trope I am into. Still, even so, the story was engaging as serial one-night stand king Shadow finds himself to be an unexpected father. I am rating Shadow 4 / 5 Stars.

Kincaid - Diego is Prez of the Cerberus MC. They're winding down at a bar after helping his cousin reascue his girlfriend .. now fiance. His crew are former military, now working in the private sector. They focus on rescuing traffick cases mostly.
He's drawn to their waitress .. Emmalyn. She's in a very abusive relationship with her husband, and when he strikes out at her in Kincaid's hearing ... he winds up on the floor & he wisks Emmalyn away with him.
Things really pick up when a team member is disgruntled and teams up with Emmalyn's ex and a club girl keeps messing with Emmalyn's head. There's a hefty dose of her wanting to flee anytime & Kincaid having to go after her. Trust issues and self-esteem are big in this book.
Sindicate Bonus book .. Byran and Avianna are in the same acting class. He's worked hard to get her to agree to a date. She finally caves, but he puts on the seduction brakes .. and she goes home confused. She's grabbed before she gets home. Her father's gambling debts has caused her to become an incentive to pay up ... but she knows there's no way he has the money. She's tossed in with a bunch of working girls, with the overlying threat of what's in store for her if her father flakes.
Bryan becomes worried when she misses class, and realizes something's wrong. He's former military also, but lost a leg .. which is how he knows Blade ... and Cerberus MC. He goes to them for help, and Kincaid offers Kid to go to Vegas with him. Kid gets hurt, but Bryan's able to infilitrate Sindicate. It's pretty intense, but Cerberus & FBI team up to help bring the Sindicate down and save Avianna.
Kid Kid saves Khloe when he sees her stumbling away from the BBQ benefit for the KIA soldier the club put together. She's 2 months from 18, so he's struggling to stay close and help her ... yet keep his distance until she's legal. While she's legal in NM .. she's not quite there for his personal morals.
Young love drama is so far removed from my experience these days, this one was a little harder to get in to. I really like how their relationship grows while they get to know each other. His injury and memory loss causes a MAJOR rift in their relationship. The fall out of that, and her forgiveness in the end is tough.
Shadow Shadow's had ongoing drama with Misty .. a teacher who helped with intell in the missing from Diego's book. She's unique for Shadow ... who is typically a one-time only kind of guy. Misty pulls at him, and he's unable to stay away ... until she ghosts him. He looses all contact with her for 9 months. Yeah, the math works out when she shows up exhausted with a baby .. and collapses.
This one frustrated me. I get Shadow is struggling with his new reality ... but the way he treats Misty is so bad. When he finally gets his act together, actions Misty took when pregnant come back to bite her. How Shadow handles that is his saving grace.

LOVE this series so much!!!!!!
I have read these books before as they came out initially. I got this box set because I was going on a trip and wanted to enjoy a re-read of one of my FAVORITE series.
I loved visiting with these dear old friends. I picked up on some things I missed the first time around and looking back at how it all started just made me love these books even more.
Each and every story will capture your mind & heart. You will fall in love with the characters. Each one has mystery, intrigue, drama, incredibly well-developed storylines and characters, lots of super spicy good stuff and most of all - love & family. I LOVE this series so much!!!!!

This was a great series even if some of the endings were predictable. I loved Kinciads and Shadows stories the most. Brian's story seemed more like an offshoot or extension of the club and didn't really fit to me, but it was still interesting. Glad I followed Goodreads' listing of the stories. Reading about Brian 2nd brought more insight to Kids story.

Kincaid was definitely my favorite book & character. I loved his character. He wasn’t misogynistic or controlling, but he was still an alpha protector.
The author did a great job of creating side characters & weaving parts of other stories/planting Easter eggs along the way.

Not usually a MC genre fan but my daughter told me I should read this series. I went in thinking I wouldn't finish. I was surprised that it wasn't like what I pictured. I am reading the entire series now.

A definite must read

This is honestly my comfort Series

A must.
Brilliant series and with this Boxset I have difficulty picking my favourite couple. Did get frustrated a few times with certain couples with this but couldn’t put it down.
