Practical recipes with ingredients I have

Practical, easy recipes using basic ingredients I typically have on hand. A variety of options for snacks, veggies, meat, and dessert. The biggest reason for one star off is that some of the steps aren't very clearly defined. Although Insta-pots are easy to work with, there are certain recipes where having a bit more info would be helpful, especially since this is supposed to be for newbies of insta-pot cooking. Pictures of the final result are always helpful with recipes anytime, regardless of method of cooking. I wish pictures were included. However, I know what I'm having for breakfast and dinner for a couple meals this week already, and that makes me happy! I love homemade food, healthier food, and energizing food , but it's hard to have so little energy and eat healthy food too. This cookbook has a number of recipes which include coconut and almond products (milk, oil, flour, sugar, water) and easy ways to use them with meat, veggies, desserts, and other snacks. If I had any bananas on me, I'd know what I'm having for a bedtime treat! Note to self: buy bananas!

This is one of several Insta-lot books I've read today, and this one has the most basic ingredients a lot of people already have on hand. Some of the others call for a number of atypical ingredients that will result in a trip to the store. (Why don't I have bananas?)

It's also helpful that the author provides the a amount of time each recipe can be frozen and/or refrigerated.
