I really loved this story! Vassily and Katya had chemistry from the moment they met, although they both fought it desperately, each for their own reasons. There was a lot of action in this story and I enjoyed how chaotic it got at times.
And the only reason it didn't get 5 stars was because I felt sometimes, especially certain scenes, that they were narrated poem like, which I found odd, something I'm not used to.

Chemistry sparks between these two main characters. There is also a lot of action and mafia politics which I enjoy.
However, some things didn't make sense to me which lowered my rating of the book. I don't understand why Marco was so desperate to sell Katya to Vassily which was not the way he usually behaved. If Constantin was such a dangerous fellow, the man should not have been able to walk so easily into his house and kill everyone on his own. Then the man is described as not being effective, etc. That doesn't quite jive. Also, why was the man ahead of the Russian threat so determined to get Katya. If it had something to do with her getting away from the massacre of her family, that should have been developed more. It just felt that some things were left out of the story.
In the end, it was a good story and that outweighs everything.

Wow! I was hooked from beginning to end on this mafia read. The chemistry between Katya and Vassily is off the charts hot. The story is fast-paced with loads of drama and suspense. I loved it!

I fell in love with Katya and Vassily - I cannot remember the last time I encountered two such engaging and entertaining characters
I have so many questions still - it truly pained me to come to the end of their story
Katya - Who? Why? Where? She is strong, intelligent and determined. I do not think she fell into the "save me you big hunk of alpha man" category once - While at the same time she still had an emotionally vulnerable side to her
Vassily - A businessman - A killer - He was so easy to like - He was arrogant and a touch controlling? but still, he was easy to connect with
There are so many possible secondary story lines and vibrant characters within this read that I am eager to see where the author takes us - I did come into this series at this book so obviously, I will have to go back to the beginning
If you enjoy the crime genre then this is a must read

Alice May Ball grabbed my attention in the prologue and kept it till the end. The Perfect Series if my favorite by Alice May Ball. She gives you action, suspense and sex. In my opinion this is not the typical Alice May Ball stories. In my opinion Vassily is very likable, yes he has a dark side yet, everything is done for a reason. Katya is in an impossible position and is waiting for things to get worse, her only hope is Vassily. I felt the chemistry between Vassily and Katya when they met. I could feel the tension grows as the story went on. This is a Mafia story so you have lots of action and violence. This is a fun wild ride of a story. In my opinion this is one of Alice May Ball's best.

Vassily is Maria, willing to do what needs to be done.
Katya is owned and her owner wants big bucks for her. She is drop dead beautiful and she comes with the ultimate gift...her virginity.
So Vassily is in the middle of someone trying to take over NY City and the 5 Borroughs in a Maria war and determined to save Katya.
The story isn't bad with plenty of violence and men who think women are just playthings. Katya is pretty tough though. I think the reason I gave this book a lower rating is because there was no back story on Vassily and Katya. Really, how did Katya get to be in the position she is in? Was Vassily born in the Mafia life...who knows!

Loved this book
Brilliant read story line kept me gripped couldn’t put the book down. Great chemistry between Vassily and Katya the girl who’s owner wants to sell to Vassily but doesn’t buy girls ever. As the chemistry between them grows so does the danger to the Russian mobs territory and it also involves Katya who Vassily promises to keep her safe. The person who is involved with the attacks is known to Katya and is scared of him but through the Russians coming together are able to put a stop to his plans. Katya after her struggles through life being taken and then sold to different men she gets her dream wedding and man she never thought possible.

This is a story about a handsome man, a beautiful woman, and the mafia. This book starts out very exciting and keeps it up till the end. He has a club with lots of women at his feet but there is only one that is getting under his skin. This is a very well written story and so much goes on that I couldn't put the book down till I finished it. I highly recommend this book. I received an advanced reader copy and have voluntarily chosen to leave a review. This is my honest opinion.

Amazing Book
I absolutely loved Vassily and Katya’s story. Danger, death, secrets, lies, awesome chemistry and love filled this book with twist and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire story. I couldn’t put the book down until the last word word. So intriguing that it left me wanting more. An ending that I would love to see an epilogue of. I definitely recommend this awesome book to anyone looking for an amazing read

Vassily is a member of the Russian Mafia, and when he sees Katya at a mafia wedding, he is instantly drawn to her, but she is in an impossible position. This is a well written story which is filled with action, suspense, thrills, and is a sexy and steamy read. I was captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and look forward to reading more from this talented author, whose work I highly recommend for all.

This book grabs you and hangs on from start to finish!! Vassily and Katya ae well written, flawed characters, that have undeniable chemistry. But bad men lurk everywhere! The book moves quickly, has some great twists, some visits from previous characters in the Perfect Series, but can certainly be read as standalone. Well Done

Katya was a strong, tough woman, even in the face of danger. Vassily couldn't stay away from her, and the dangers surrounding them kept this a fast-paced, mind-whirling story. As the troubles escalated, so did their feelings. I would have liked to know more about Katya's history, which was alluded to a lot, but without the details I was craving. Vassily was a tough man who only wanted to protect Katya at all costs. Thrilling and hot read!

This book will grab your attention right at the beginning and take you on one wild ride. Fast-paced and full of action. Hot and steamy with lots of sexy scenes. He's Russian mafia and a real bad boy. Some graphic scenes and some violence and self-harm. Lots of drama, violence and a surprise happy ending. Well written with strong characters and a page-turning story.

Katya the matroshka after the murder of her family she years later is to be sold ,but when kidnapped vassily the Russian killer first he needs to get her back .then protect her while also finding what's happening with the new York crime families and whose behind all of it. 10 star for action and awsome writing.

It could have been so much better.
Poor editing ruined a very exciting book. There are a lot of "very bad accidents". White slavery and violence may trigger some readers. Sexy times and a HEA for the survivors.

Enjoyed but would have liked to learn more about Katyas origin. It was hinted at but that was all. Good enough to make me start at the beginning of series. 3.5 stars
