Something’s rotten in Cheyenne... Someone wants to be King...
...Heads are going to roll.
In the wild west, a hundred years after throwing off the royal yoke, there are fortunes to be made and men bent on winning the power and prestige, of kings, if not the title. Thorn is not one of them. He wants Elly, and he wants his ranch.
When the greedy steal something precious from a friend, Thorn steps up to help. Unable to untangle the maze of paper, he falls back on what he knows – six-guns and iron fists.
Cheyenne Showdown is the third book in Wyatt Cochrane’s Marshall Family Western series. If you love the honest brave men in Louis L’Amour’s books and the cowboy romance in C.J.Petitt’s, then you’ll love a series that combines these timeless traits in a classic, fast-paced, western action adventure series.

Cheyenne Showdown: A Marshall. Family Western - Book 3
Thorn had come to Cheyenne earlier in the year than what was normal and the snow was hard to get through and the trails were more mud than trail, but he had to see Elly. When he got to his friend's ranch, he found trouble and he knew he had to try to help him find out who was trying to steal his land. He thought his troubles could wait, but they just kept coming. Men always wanted to make a name for themselves and killing Thorn was the quickest way to do that. Maybe not, but they were bound and determined to try. Great book!!!!
A WC. Western Novel/Cheyenne/Land/Gunfighters/To Be Or Not To Be
WC. has. penned the third novel in the Marshall Family series. TO delivers the young bills and finds that land has been stolen from the Pratts. TH decided to find the bottom of the conspiracy. This leads to confusion and gunfights. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS
Then all kinds of things happen. He wants to help Bob and the more he investigates, the bigger the problem. He finally gets it figured out. After all problems are solved, he decided that he isn't good enough for the love of his life. She had other ideas.
Thorn is easy to like. He is a loyal friend. He is a well trained, disciplined fighter. He fights for the under dog which gets him in trouble. I like reading this series.
Where's the next book? Great story. Love, loss, good and bad men, troubled past and an honorable future. Highly recommended for all adult and teenage readers.
You can't stop reading about Throne and his adventures. He's in love and his own doubts of being good enough keeps getting in the way. I need to delve into next book to see what happens. If pride or love win out on all sides.
It was a good read, but the courting of Elly is raging on a bit too long. The main plot in this one was good - I only wish the final battle was a little more exciting. I’ll keep reading the series because I’m pretty invested
Action packed. Thorn just seems to be a trouble magnet. Glad Bob's family is going to be ok. Not happy that Thorn drew the wrong conclusion and did not speak to Elly.
