I love the story that Bitter Root is telling here. It’s dark and deceptive, while also trying to tie everything into the complex past of this country. I’m sure there are more meaning and hidden points that I’m completely missing, but I’ve loved what I’ve seen and picked up on.
I’d honestly love to know even more about the main characters. I feel like we have three distinct groups moving around each other here. Two have the potential to be working together, while the third is obviously working against them. I can’t wait to see what happens when all three meet up. I have a feeling it’ll be explosive.

Just Getting Better

All of the story lines are crisp and clear.

The concluding essays are getting even better.

I really like Sanford Greene's art on this series. It's expressive and reflects the almost manic pace of unfolding action. It's early yet, and there is a heck of a lot going on with a complex narrative and multiple players making unlikely alliances.
