Spend the day (or night) getting to know the sexy Davis twins. Who will you choose--#TeamSeth or #TeamSam?
Here is a Top 10 list from Ann about her likes, dislikes, and oddities:
1. I despise whipped cream. There, I admitted it in writing. Let the ridiculing begin. 2. Even though I have lived as far south as Key Largo, Florida and as far north as Maine, I landed in the middle. 3. If I don't make a conscious effort not to, I will drink nothing but tea morning, noon and night. Hot tea, sweet tea, green tea––I love it all. 4. There doesn't seem to be much in life that is better than coming home to a couple of big dogs who are overjoyed to see me. My other family members usually show significantly less enthusiasm about my return. 5. Singing in my bestest, loudest voice does not make my family put on their happy faces. This includes the big, loving dogs referenced above. 6. Yes, I am aware that bestest is not a word. 7. Dorothy was right. There's no place like home. 8. All of the numerous bottles in my shower must be lined up with their labels facing out. It makes me feel a little like Julia Roberts' mean husband from the movie 'Sleeping with the Enemy,' but I can't seem to control this particular quirk. 9. I love, love, love finding a great bargain. 10. Did I mention that I hate whipped cream? It makes my stomach churn to look at it, touch it, smell it, or even think about it. Great––now I'm thinking about it. Ick!

This is the last book of The Davis Twin series " Faking Changes ". This book focuses on Courtney and how hard it it for her to except that she has been able to pull herself out of her past. Maybe she will have a wonderful life instead. But this book is so much more! Every one of the characters is a star in this book and the entire series. Must read book!!!!! Must read series!!!!!
Courtney has had a tough life and doesn’t feel that she belongs in the life she has landed herself in. So when things start to get serious with Seth, she freaks out and runs.
I’m not sure what I think of this book. I feel a bit like Courtney was able to resolve some of her feelings too easily but at the same time, I’m thinking some people are able to do that.
We finally get to hear Courtney's story, and also see what lies ahead for the Davis' clan. Although parts of this tale are stressful, it should be understood that abuse, such as shown through this story, does occur, and sometimes the child isn't believed, when they attempt to enlist aid by a grown up.
Actual rating 3.5 I enjoyed seeing Courtney's perspective on the events in the previous two books. I also really appreciated hearing about her life experiences (TW for sexual abuse) and how these shaped her as a person. The drama at the end of the book, although a tad predictable and unrealistic, was thrilling to read. Overall, this was an enjoyable book!
Faking Changes (The Davis Twins #3) was a great read by Ann Omasta. Courtney has managed to rise above her childhood of abuse and hardship. She can't escape the inferiority complex that lurks in the shadows of her mind. It makes her feel like an imposter who doesn't belong and isn't worthy of true love. I enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more by the author.
I loved this series!! From book one I was hooked. There were many highs and many lows through out the story it was very hard to put it down and get other things done that needed done haha. My favorite was the last book though. while Court and Seth shares their story it also tied up everything nicely for the rest of the character! I love not her more than a series with an actual ending!!
A Powerful and Unforgettable Story 5 Stars “Faking Changes” is the highly anticipated third book in the Davis Twins Series, written by Ann Omasta. This superbly crafted story revolves around the traumatic childhood of Courtney; Abby Brown’s best friend from the first two books, “Taking Chances” and “Making Choices”. Between the nightmares from which Courtney suffers, she tries her best to fit into her present day life. She feels blessed to be surrounded by such a tight knit group of friends that love her. But everyday Courtney feels unworthy of their love and support. If they ever found out what kind of person she really was, they would be horrified. Knowing it’s only a matter of time before her past is revealed, Courtney makes a decision that changes her life. Even though this novella is complex and emotional, there’s also an underlying vibe of humor that helps bring this awe-inspiring masterpiece to life. From the first paragraph, in the first chapter, I was instantly drawn to the story-line. All the characters within these pages are well developed and defined; each of them is completely captivating. Without a doubt, this book is receiving the highest rating, 5 Stars! I’m looking forward to the next installment and can’t wait to find out what happens to Seth and Sam’s dad. What a mess he’s made of his life! Will his family be able to forgive him? I received this for my honest review, Get your tissues out, I haven't read something so sad in a long time. In this story Courtney is the main character and was abused by her stepfather as a child, her life is happier now and she is determined not to let her past traumas ruin it but inside she feels like she doesn't belong in their world because of her terrible upbringing. She's obviously afraid of getting hurt again, afraid that the deep dark secrets of her past will come back to ruin everything she holds dear. This is a brilliant story of friendship, love and finding the strength to move forward and second chances of facing your demons no matter how much they may hurt. Courtney tells us about her new life that she made without any help from authorities and in this you can see there are still some bumps in her life but with her close friend and a cat that hates almost everyone except Courtney she gets through but she is still uneasy in her relationships. This will definitely pull at your heart.......
You don't need to read the previous books (Taking Chances and Making Choices). I have not read the previous books but I think there are spoilers in this book (relationships between the characters). Get your tissues out for chapter one. I haven't read anything so sad since I read the In Death (by J.D. Robb) book that told about Eve's childhood (major character in all the books). Starting chapter two, Courtney tells us about her new life that she made without any help from authorities. There are still some bumps in her life but she has a close friend and a cat that hates almost everyone except Courtney. She is still somewhat uneasy in her relationships.

This was a good conclusion to this series! The characters were amazing! The secondary characters as enjoyable as the main characters. That's what makes a good author.
I had to start reading this as soon as I finished book 2 in the series. I laughed and cried with all the characters. I couldn't put the book down until I finished it. If you want to read a great series, get yourself a copy.
Oh my gosh I just loved it. I really loved the characters and how through each of the books you got to know different characters from the previous books this is definitely something I love! You don't end a book and wonder what happens to other characters because all you have to is read the next book. This book brought the series full circle and I hope you love it as much as I did!
